My involvement to the characters was so intense, that many times I confused them to real people. In my mind, they existed and sometimes took the leash on the story, conducting in a different way that I had imagined it.

With them I smiled, cried, suffered, and thrilled.

The idea to tell the story of a family passing by many generations made me find a point of closure, because the story is infinite. The Smiths and the Toledos will continue existing in their descendants for centuries to come.

It was very difficult to finish the book and let them go after months of daily coexistence.

I hope you, who read this story, have also fell in love with them.
