The big day for Jackson and Maddie had arrived. It's was a sunny and beautiful day. The farm was all decorated with flowers, making a path from the main house to the chapel.

The wedding would be in the morning. Since early, Maddie was being prepared. Robert and Regina were her groomsman and bridesmaid and gifted her with her wedding dress and layette. Edward and Louise were Jackson's groomsman and bridesmaid.

Fifteen minutes before the bride arrived, the bells from the small chapel were already ringing, calling everyone for the big event.

Jackson was wearing a tux, very elegant and very nervous. The music started playing announcing Maddie's arrival.

Andrea was at the front carrying the wedding rings. A while ago, after getting Regina's and Robert's approval, he told Maddie that Andrea was his daughter, because he didn't want any secrets between them.

Jackson was thrilled once he received Maddie from her father's arms. She was dazzling but kept that simplicity that he adored so much.

The wedding was followed by a lunch and the party went on until late. The newlyweds changed clothes and it was already night when they went to Goiania, where they would spend their wedding night. On the next day, they would travel to Greece, where Maddie had told him once that she would like to go.

On the road, while he was driving, the tension took over Jackson's body. Destiny had given him another opportunity and he felt blessed. A movie was playing on his head, since the camp night, when he met Regina, the years that followed and all of the impossible things that had happened that brought him to this moment. He had so much to be thankful for. He mentally numbered the most important ones: the reunion with Regina and the opportunity to ask her for forgiveness, the discovery of his daughter, his friendship with Robert and the Toledo family, the recovery of his legs, the honor on being Beatrice's godfather and the date with Maddie. Spirituality had helped him redeem himself and he would dedicate body and soul to fulfill his assignments as a guardian.

Maddie, was also quiet, lost in her thoughts. How much her life had changed in such a short period of time. She still felt like Cinderella with her prince charming. Yes, she had married a true prince: beautiful, kind, polite, cult and very rich. Argh! Who was she to deserve so much luck? She wanted to make Jackson happy, very happy, but she felt afraid of not being up to his standards. How would her first time be? She loved and wanted her husband, but she didn't know how to correspond to him as a lover. Just the thought of being naked in front of him made her blush.

Jackson seemed to feel her insecurities and held her hand while driving the vehicle. That touch calmed her down. She knew she could trust him.

When they arrived at the hotel penthouse, Jackson carried her to the bedroom.

He had practiced a lot with Andrea so he wouldn't fall. Walking without his cane was very difficult, but he wanted to have that romantic moment of every couple in love and carry his lover in his arms.

Feeling comfortable, he served two glasses of champagne. The drink would be a good idea to master the anxiety that was taking over both. Jackson filled the glasses many times and toasted with Maddie while vaguely caressing her arms. He pulled one of her hands and kissed her palm. He felt her breathing speed up.

This was how he wanted to happen. Slowly, very slowly, in a way that she was totally relaxed and ready for him. Without hurrying they went to the bed. He vaguely unzipped her dress without stopping kissing her.

The drink and Jackson's kisses made Maddie intoxicated, like she wasn't stepping on the ground, and she didn't even noticed Jackson undressing her.

When he touched her breasts, she became aware she was only in her lingerie. A shiver ran through her entire body and a heat took over her intimate parts. Jackson caressed her carefully, stimulating her. It was a delicious feeling. He opened her bra and exposed her breasts. She felt his breath speed up and closed her eyes when he put his mouth on it.

Jackson smiled at her tenderly.

─ I know what you mean. I feel the same way. And I still add the pride of making you feel pleasure. It was so good for us to climax together. It was indescribable. Jackson thought, but didn't say anything, that he finally managed to relive a similar experience, only this time, in the correct way.

And the night was only beginning for them.
