The months went by very fast.

Robert was called at the hospital more and more every time. He became a successful orthopedist with many successful cases of accidents recoveries.

Regina was completely involved with her record, that would be launched in December, close to Christmas.

Andrea busy with her studies, roller skating and music lessons.

Walter was always in meetings with his partners. The hospital had become a reference in health because of its staff. Sonia split her time with everyone, helping the way she could. She was almost always at home, like a rock, while everybody was in and out all the time.

The remodeling of Eddy and Louise's house had been completed and they were already living in it.

Rosie stayed a few months living with Eddy and Louise and used to spend a lot of time at Sonia's house. They became great friends. Sonia used to go along with her friend to the weekly visits to Rosalee who, so far, had had few progresses.

Around this time, Regina started having weird dreams every night. In them, she always dreamt about the gypsy who gave her information she couldn't remember when she woke up.

That made her very anxious and, she used to push her mind trying to remember something.

One day, she talked about those dreams with her husband.

─ I've been having weird dreams that I can't remember when I wake up. I know the gypsy is always there. It seems like she's giving me important information. Why can't I remember?

─ Consciously, you may not remember, but that information is on your subconscious. When the right time comes, you will remember it. Don't worry about it.

─ Yeah, you're right. Maybe all this fuss in our lives also has something to do with it.

─ It may be. I think you should slow down a little bit. You're working too hard.

─ As soon as the vinyl disk is out, things should calm down. I like the frenzy, you know that.

─ I know. Well, I must go, I'm late already. I'll see you tonight.

─ Bye, honey. Have a good day at work.

When he arrived at the office, his assistant was already there.

─ Good morning, Louise.

─ Good morning Dr. Toledo. Here are the files for the appointments scheduled for today morning.

The first appointment is a new patient, Mr. Jackson Flambert. The guy is in a wheelchair.

─ OK. As soon as he arrives, send him in please.

Robert was rereading a book about physical trauma, when Louise informed him that his patient had arrived.

He heard a knock and the door opened. A man with about thirty years old came in on a wheelchair pushed by his escort. He greeted Robert with a handshake.

─ How have you been Mr. Flambert? What can I help you with?

─ I've been on a motorcycle accident an about a year ago and my legs don't respond to the treatments. I've heard about a few methods that you, sir, have been using and seem to be doing great, so I've decided to come and meet you.

─ Did you bring your exams?

─ Yes, here they are.

Jackson came near the table to hand Robert the papers and knocked down a picture frame that was on top of it.

─ I'm sorry.

Jackson saw the picture when he was trying to put the frame back up. That made him shiver.

He kept the frame on his hands for longer than necessary until Robert took it.

─ Don't worry. I'll put it up.

Robert kept looking closely at his patient records but felt a pressure on the back of his neck that started to bother him.

─ Well, Mr. Flambert. I'll ask for a couple of additional exams. They can be done right here at the hospital. From what I can see on your previous exams, there's hope.

─ Good, very good. Is this your wife?

Robert waited a few seconds before answering.

─ Yes, this is my wife.

─ She's very pretty.

─ Yes, she is. Well, we'll see each other again as soon as the new exam results are ready.

─ Thank you, Dr. Toledo. See you next time.

─ See you soon.

Robert was wondering after Jackson left the room. A weird feeling took over him and he remembered Regina talking about her dreams. Something about that guy seemed familiar... his bright blue eyes and his smile reminded him of... Andrea! The doubt that came to his mind made him perplexed. No, it couldn't be, he thought. That would be malefic.

Wrapped in his thoughts, he didn't even notice when Louise opened the door and asked if she could send in the next patient. He waved a "yes" with his head and put his worries on another corner of his mind.

In the afternoon, two patients cancelled their appointments and, he could go home early.

Once he said goodbye to Louise, he asked:

─ Have you ever seen before that patient Jackson Flambert that came here early?

Louise thought for a bit and concluded.

─ No, from what I remember, I've never seen him. Why?

─ Nothing big. I just thought he looked like somebody. Maybe I've seen him somewhere before.

─ Yes, maybe. I don't remember him.

─ Well, I'm on my way. See you tomorrow. Send Eddy a hug.

─ Goodbye. Have a good night.

Robert found only his mother-in-law at home. She poured him some coffee and he decided to ask her.

─ Regina has or has ever had a friend named Jackson?

─ I can't tell. She knows so many people. Why are you asking?

─ Just out of curiosity. A patient saw her picture on my desk and seemed to recognize her.

─ I think it's better for you to ask her. I can't remember anyone with this name.

─ Yes, that's true.

Robert excused himself and went to his bedroom.

Regina used to keep old pictures in her closet. He grabbed a few albums and started to look at it. There was nothing there that was helping him. So, he decided to take a relaxing shower.

After, he put on a pair of bermudas and a t-shirt and went to his office to read a book. But he couldn't concentrate. The memory of Jackson looking at Regina's picture didn't seem to leave his mind alone.

Later, Regina arrived home and saw him sitting in his office.

─ I'm so glad you arrived, Re. I need to talk to you.

Regina came near the chair he was sitting on, lift her dress up until her tights and sat on her husband's lap.

She caressed his chest moving her hand down to his belly button.

─ What kind of talk do you wanna have?

That affection and her sexy voice made him excited. He wanted her at that moment.

He needed to forget about all his worries.

She wrapped her arms around his neck. He put his hands under her legs, grabbed her by her butt and lift her in his arms. He was so strong that she didn't seem to weight anything at all.

Regina woke up in the middle of the night frightened.

She dreamt that she was with a huge belly walking in a beautiful garden with the gypsy next to her.

She pushed Robert's body away from her very slowly, so he wouldn't wake up, and went to the bathroom where she started to recall everything from her dream. Would that be something for the future? She was taking birth control pills and....

Oh, no! She had forgotten to buy a new pack.

There were two days already that she wasn't taking them, and she didn't even notice.

And now, what would she do? Would it make a difference if she started taking them again now? She needed to talk to Dr. Adrianna Barnes first thing in the morning.

She came back to the room but couldn't sleep anymore. She kept looking outside the window, to the darkness. How could she have forgotten of taking her pills? There was so much going on... right now wasn't a good time for her to get pregnant.

Robert moved and unconsciously tapped his hands around the bed, looking for her. Her absence woke him up and he saw her standing next to the window, looking outside.

─ Are you feeling something, Re?

─ No, honey, go back to sleep. I had a dream that woke me up. I got up to go to the bathroom and couldn't sleep anymore.

─ Did you dream about the gypsy again? She tried to disguise.

─ I can't remember. What did you want to talk about when I arrived?

─ I forgot. You completely distracted me. Come lay here with me, I can't sleep without feeling your body next to me.

─ Sure, I need to sleep too. I have a full day tomorrow.
