3: I hope you like it

September 6th 2017

"I don't want to go... No... I do...".

"I just... shouldn't... It's the best for ev-".

Incoming call
📞 Natsuki

"Cookie Monster, hurry up".

"I'm on my way!!"

"No you are not, I can hear
your sleepy voice"

"Ehehehe..."

"Whatever, just move your
red bow ass, we need your
bubbliness to hand more
pamphlets today"

"Alrighty, I'll hurry then!"

====================

The girl of the red bow packed her lunchbox, kissed her mom goodbye and double checked she had her portion of pamphlets for today before heading off to school.

She'd always take the same path. Houses similar to hers with friendly neighbors that greeted her every morning with a smile, a little ramen stand where some people stopped by for their breakfast before going to work, a wide field regularly used by kids to play soccer or baseball and there a particularly big tree she used to climb when she was younger.

In the morning, the field tended to be quiet, kids usually come after school, much like Sayori did when she was one. As she walked by, the bubbly girl took a quick look at the place she once had so much fun at. She always felt nostalgic when she looked at it, it reminded her a time when she was happy.

The red bow girl quietly sighed and was about to continue her way to school but it was then, that she noticed something odd in that big tree.

Intrigued, Sayori walked closer to it and consequentially got a better look of what made that tree so strange that morning.

A girl.

The peach haired girl immediately recognized the gray blazer and blue skirt. Laying up there on one of the thickest branches and resting her head on one of her arms was a girl that wore the same school uniform as our bubbly girl.

Ignore her and leave her alone like she probably wanted to be was what any person would most likely do, but the vice-president of the literature club wasn't just any person, specially not after she noticed what the girl was holding with her free hand.

Sayori smiled and for a brief moment, she felt like a kid full of happiness as she looked at the great tree before her. Wondering if she still remembered how wasn't an option as the bubbly girl immediately started climbing through the thick crooked branches.

"What are you reading there?", asked the bubbly girl who popped her head up next to the girl laying there and holding a thin book that didn't let Sayori see her face. "Gah! What the-?!", the girl jolted a bit startled almost dropping her book which finally allowed the red bow one to see her face.

It was a girl of dark brown eyes, short dark blue hair with her fairly long bangs brushed over the left side of her face and a bit of a tough expression made even more intimidating by a scar across her left eye.

"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you hehe...", Sayori who was stepping on an almost as big Branch below as she rested her chin and hands on the thickest branch of them all, said with a cute smile. "You didn't scare me", the dark blue haired girl replied and huffed.

"What's that book?", bouncing already, the red bow girl asked. "A comic", the dark blue haired girl replied after she returned to the same position she was before, not letting Sayori see her face again.

"What's it about?", the curious Sayori asked. "Superheroes", the tough looking girl bluntly replied.

"Like Super Mr. Cow?", Sayori asked again but the dark blue haired girl sighed loud, seemingly annoyed to then stop her reading to reply. "Shouldn't you be heading to school or something?".

"Yup!", Sayori bounced. "Then...?", the dark blue haired one made a circular motion with her wrist as she asked.

"Umm do you want us to walk to school together?", Sayori pressed her finger on her chin before asking that. "Eh?", the tough girl tilted her head confused.

"We can talk more meanwhile!", Sayori exclaimed bubbly as ever. "Listen... I won't go to school, so you may as well head off now before you're late", the dark blue haired girl explained.

"Why not?", Sayori tilted her head curious. "... That's none of your business", the tough girl looked away.

"But you should go! Don't you want to see your friends at least?", Sayori insisted as she bounced. "Like I had one there...", the dark blue haired girl muttered as she kept avoiding eye contact with the girl of the red bow.

"Then I can be your friend!", Sayori smiled sweetly. "How the hell did you- wait, what did you just say?", the dark blue haired girl cocked an eyebrow first, surprised the girl could hear that and then asked even more confused.

"Let's be friends!", bouncing and smiling exclaimed the peach haired girl. "Why though?", the dark blue haired girl's expression began to soft to the sweetness of the girl that loved to bounce.

Sayori simply shrugged, gifting the tough girl the cutest and brightest smile she had ever seen as her dark brown eyes sparkled a little and felt an strange peace as if everything in the world was right for a moment.

"I-I'll catch up with you later...", the dark blue haired girl looked away the moment she noticed she had unconsciously stuttered. "Come down with meeee", Sayori playfully whined and tugged on the girl's blazer, enough to reveal the watch on her wrist.

7:47 am

Her blue eyes went wide open as she momentarily paralyzed at the realization.

"I'm gonna be lateeeeee!!", Sayori exclaimed panicking and bouncing on the branch without care, slipping to what for a moment she believed would be her doom.

"Careful where you bounce", the dark blue haired girl said as she held Sayori's hands, allowing her to regain her footing. "Thank you", Sayori smiled awkwardly and blushed slightly embarrassed at her own clumsiness.

"I'll be heading off now then, please come to school soon okay?", Sayori spoke softly and rubbed the tough girl's hands gently before letting go, granting her one more sweet smile that granted the dark blue haired girl that odd feeling of peace once again.

Sayori then carefully climbed down while the girl above simply watched her do so. The red bow girl waved her hand at her once she was back on the ground and turned around, heading off to school, running in cute manner, or so the girl up in that great tree thought.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"It won't happen again!", exclaimed the peach haired girl, trapping her pink classmate as usual between desks. "Sorry but the math teacher asked me to go to her office during lunch time, she said the sooner the better so I could have time to eat too", the pink girl explained camly.
"When did she say that?", Sayori asked confused. "When you were dead during her class", Natsuki grinned as she responded.
"Oh... Ehehehe...", Sayori simply joined the tip of her index fingers together and smiled awkwardly. "Now, if you excuse me...", Natsuki said as Sayori reluctantly moved aside.
"Wake up, dummy", Natsuki said pulling Gensai's cap up that hid his face as she noticed he hadn't said a word nor had he touched his turkey leg either. "Eh? Ah, yeah, sorry", the school cap boy gave her a crooked teeth grin as she headed off.
=================
After crossing paths with the beanie hat girl who once again said bye to the purple girl the moment she appeared outside the classroom, Natsuki sat down in the usual spot in front of Yuri and said hi with a cute smile.
...
"So did you find any new possible members today?", Natsuki asked after a brief conversation about their lunch as usual, making up another excuse to explain her empty hands on that matter. "Not really... You?", Yuri simply asked to which the pinkette denied with her head.
After that, there was nothing but an awkward silence as both didn't know what else to talk about now, but the one who was being more affected by this was none other than the purple girl as she thought.
"I'm probably boring her... I need to come up with something to talk about... Literature? No, we don't share the same interests there, plus it could make it worse since we always argued because of that and I don't want to ruin things with her now that we're friends...", these and many other thoughts crossed her mind but in the end both ran out of time as lunch time was over and after thanking her again for the candy, Natsuki returned to her classroom.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The time for literature club eventually came and Yuri, who, worth mentioning, was quite distracted during the rest of her lessons thinking of how to be a better friend and not fall on that awkward silence again which many times in the past got people to distance themselves from her, still hadn't quite got an idea.

Arriving first as usual let her see Omiko arriving second and Natsuki third who after a quick "hello" went to their respective spots, leaving her alone with her book and thoughts again.

Soon enough the other new member of twin tails arrived, sitting in the middle of the row by the door. Monika and Sayori, the latest who had gone to pick Monika up at her classroom for old times sake, arrived last, going to the teacher's desk to chat as usual.

Yuri kept thinking and thinking but soon after the club was complete, she couldn't help but finding herself glancing behind her as the pink haired girl approached the mint green haired girl sitting in the back of the room.

Yuri couldn't hear what they were saying but it didn't take long for them to start chit chatting like they've been friends forever, Natsuki was smiling and even laughing, which sent an odd bitterness through her throat down to her chest for some reason as she kept every time less discreetly glancing at them.

...

"How long are you planning to sit here? Just go already!", Natsuki exclaimed a bit impatient. "But... What if we're misreading the signals?", Omiko replied nervous as she kept glancing at the twintailed girl.

"I'd agree with you... But those aren't just signals, those are freaking billboards!!", almost shouted the pink girl as she too kept watching Erika's actions from her seat.

The twintailed girl was calmly staring at Omiko with a sweet yet seductive smile, she was crossing her legs, letting her skirt slide down for her to see her legs better and kept tracing lines along her thigh with her index finger nice and slow.

"What else do you want? A TV commercial?!", Natsuki asked visibly mad at her new clubmate's naiveness or shyness, whatever it was and probably because her voice this time was loud enough, Erika seemingly replied.

The twintailed girl pulled out a small lollipop and started licking it slowly, sucking on it from time to time, causing the glasses girl's face to turn into a living tomato.

"If you don't go and talk to her right now I swear I'm gonna-", Natsuki gritted her teeth and clenched her fist. "O-Okay, okay! I'll go! Just... Give me a few minutes to prepare", Omiko breathed in and out.

"Alright! While you do that though, let me show you something good", the now excited pink girl quickly went to her seat, pulled out a thin book out of her backpack and came back, handing it to the mint green haired girl.

"Manga? ...Shoujo sect...", Omiko said, curiously eyeing the book a bit before opening it and go through the pages to see what it was about, however, what she saw made her blush madly and slam both sides of the book against each other closed.

"W-Why did you bring something like this to school, senpai?!", Omiko asked in whispers of exclamation. "I thought you could use it for future references!", Natsuki grinned.

Omiko discreetly opened the manga again to eye some of the pages while Natsuki kept rambling on and on and as they continued, Yuri who hadn't been able to go further in her own book due to glancing at them the whole time, finally found the answer she was looking for.

=================

"Okay everyone! Time's up, see you all tomorrow and don't forget your poems! Have a nice evening!", Monika bid farewell to everyone as always, making it official for them to be able to go home.

While everyone packed their stuff and said goodbye to each other, Yuri was taking deep breaths to prepare herself mentally for what she now knew she needed to do if she wanted her friendship with Natsuki to stay alive and get even better.

"Calm down, you just have to ask her in a casual way, don't make it look like a big deal or like she has to go or something like that... It's very simple, "Natsuki, I was heading to the bookstore right now, perhaps you would like to come too?"... But what if she asks why?! No, no, no, we already went over that, I just need to say something like, "Umm, you could maybe pick a book for me or I could pick a book for you so we can read them and maybe discuss them sometime?".... Ugh, everytime I say it in my mind sounds even more embarrassing!", as she kept torturing herself, Yuri almost lost track of time and space as Natsuki said bye to her and headed to the door, to which she only responded waving her hand in a robotic manner.

Fortunately for her, Yuri snapped back to reality in time with violet eyes wide open and hurried after the pink girl.

"Natsuki!", Yuri exclaimed as she caught up with her in the hallway. "Mm?", Natsuki simply turned around looking at her a bit confused.

"I-I... You... I-I was w-wondering... Because I'm h-heading to...", surprised by her abnormal level of nervousness and consequential stuttering, Yuri began having a mental block without realizing as Natsuki simply looked at her with eagerness in her magenta eyes she didn't notice due to her mental state.

"W-W-What shampoo do you use?!!", Yuri finally asked raising her voice. "Eh?", Natsuki tilted her head confused.

"I-I was heading to the supermarket and your hair always looks soft so I was wondering what shampoo do you use...", Yuri rambled as she began to sweat. "Oh, well I don't remember the name really, but I'll check it out today and tell you tomorrow, ight?", the confused Natsuki replied.

"O-Okay, thank you, ummm b-bye then...", Yuri said smiling awkwardly and waving her hand. "See ya", the pink girl waved back and with disappointment in her eyes that Yuri didn't notice due to her mind being fully focused on cursing herself for messing it up, she turned around and left.

As the taller girl watched her go, her eyebrows lowered and pulled closer together and the corners of her mouth were drawn downwards as she looked at the floor disappointed with herself yet again.

But something inside of her strangely pushed her back up as she started to go down. Yuri knew she couldn't be like this forever, she had to do something here and now.

The purple girl took a deep breath and went after Natsuki once again.

Walking faster and faster by the second, Yuri could only see Natsuki turn around to a different hallway or to the stairs from the distance, she wanted to shout her name but at the same time, her own insecurity wouldn't let her.

Almost on the verge of running, wondering how, even with her long legs, she couldn't catch up with the shorter girl, Yuri finally reached the entrance and saw Natsuki stop abruptly near the school gates.

Yuri smiled and began to run, thinking she probably noticed her, but as she got closer and Natsuki starter to turn around, the purple girl saw a school cap relatively tall boy approach her from the right and the shorter girl simply looking at him.

The purple girl then instinctively hid behind a nearby tree and watched them, as it was all what her shy heart allowed her to do right now.

...

"Go with you? You should tell me where first", Natsuki sighed annoyed. "To a place that will be certainly beneficial for you! Specially now that you have someone in your radar", Gensai grinned proud.

"Wha- how do- I mean! I don't and that's not even your business!", Natsuki blushed profusely, caught off guard. "Wahaha! Come on, no need to hide it! I saw you and that purple haired girl yesterday when I went to the bathroom during lunch, it was plain obvious from the way you looked at her whenever she wasn't looking!", Gensai said with a crooked teeth smile.

"I-! That's not-!", the pink haired red apple tried to quickly think of an excuse but Gensai was quicker as he spoke. "Come on fella! I assure you, if you come with me, you will soon have her drooling for you", Gensai smirked as he got closer and whispered in Natsuki's ear.

"F-Fine, I'll go but if you try anything weird I'll kick your balls and call the police, got it?!", Natsuki replied looking away but the blush on her cheeks was inevitable to be seen.

"Aaaaalright!! Follow me then! Forward march!", Gensai threw his fist to the air and began marching like a soldier. "I ain't doing that shit!", Natsuki yelled as she followed him, both soon went out of sight as they crossed the gates.

In the meantime, the purple girl who had been watching from afar, came out of the tree and sighed feeling a bit defeated.

However, Yuri didn't feel as bad as she thought she would, she surely kept blaming herself for not being able to ask Natsuki to go with her first, but seeing her go with that boy didn't really affect her much as the only thing crossing her mind was:

"Natsuki likes girls so I don't have to worry there...".

But Yuri soon realized as her mind began to clear. "Why would I even be worried though?!". The purple girl covered her now warm face with both hands and trying to calm down, her mind certainly was a mess at that moment.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Amazing...", after entering the three floor building, that was all Natsuki could say. "First time?", Gensai asked with hands on hips and a huge grin.
Before replying, Natsuki took a minute to take a look around. The big and strange machines, from small to huge discs that looked like could kill her if that fell on her head, the bars all over the place and more importantly, the muscular men and women lifting all that weight that for her seemed impossible to even move, like some sort of super men and super women.
"Yeah, I hadn't been to a gym before", Natsuki said while she admired some of the girl's abs there. "Wahaha! Then you're in for a ride my friend! This will require discipline, determination, good sleep and most importantly sweat, a lot of sweat!", The school cap boy laughed.
"But... How much is this gonna cost?", Natsuki asked now back to reality. "For you? Just your will to come! I need to renovate my subscription and there's a promo of two for the price of one if you pay for the annuity", Gensai said with a crooked teeth smile.
"Be serious, what do you want from me?", Natsuki asked with crossed arms defiantly. "Mmmm how about... an invitation to your wedding with that purple girl?", Gensai asked smiling but Natsuki soon erased that one by pulling his pointy goatee.
"Ouch!", Gensai exclaimed. "Deal", Natsuki said now turned around with crossed arms to hide her pink cheeks and fool smile.
"Yo! Gens who- oh! You're Yuri-chan's friend!", the voice of a girl that despite her perfect japanese, still made noticeable her foreign accent, spoke making the pink girl turn around only for her to find quite the surprise.
"Osu!", there she was, a beanie hat girl of brown hair and red eyes Natsuki had dedicated one of her famous death glares to before, only this glare her magenta eyes drifted to a different direction almost popping out of their sockets as she saw the six pack of the girl in front of her thanks to her gym clothes.
Natsuki then said hello to fear.
And then said goodbye to him as she now greeted a newly found determination and fighting spirit.
Her toned arms, perfectly shaped waist, thick legs and her 6 abs were exactly how Natsuki had pictured herself the moment she set foot there, those were the results she wanted to get and she certainly didn't want to lose to her now.
"So you knew each other already", Gensai said. "Kinda we just crossed eyes a couple times haha", Jasmine replied grinning.
"Well my pink pal, allow me to introduce you to each other. Jazzy, this is Natsuki, my classmate and pal who needs to shape things up a bit cause reasons", Gensai said discreetly winking at Natsuki.
"Nats, this is Jasmine, a good fella of mine and trainer in this gym, she'll help you in your buffsuki transformation", the school cap boy gave her a thumbs up that got him a kick to the shin in response.
"Nice to meet you", both said to each other at the same time while Gensai rubbed his shin. "Well, I leave her in your capable hands Jazzy. Nats, brace yourself cause she's gonna squeeze every drop of sweat in your body. Now if you excuse me, I gotta head to the second floor", Gensai tilted his cap gentlemanly.
Both girls bid him adieu for now and then the beanie hat girl proceeded to show Natsuki the place and where to get changed.
"What's on the second floor?", Natsuki asked curious as she followed her. "The wrestling dojo", Jasmine simply replied.
"Heh... Well, he always seemed crazy anyway", Natsuki said. "Ready? Now that I showed you around, its time to sweat!", Jasmine grinned enthusiastically.
"Eh? But I didn't bring any clothes for this...", Natsuki said a bit confused. "No worries! We can lend you some! You have no idea how many people end up forgetting their tank tops, pants, leggings or sneakers, so we always have some to spare for those cases, they're clean so don't worry there", Jasmine explained.
"O-Okay then...", Natsuki replied a bit nervous. "When I'm done with you, you ain't gonna be able to walk home", Jasmine muttered in a eerie voice that sent chills down the pink girl's spine.
"W-What?", the scared pinkette asked. "Nothing!", Jasmine grinned happily, which made Natsuki even more afraid.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

September 7th 2017

"Good morning class, let's take from page- Miss Aono, good to see you at last", the old teacher about to began his lesson spoke but stopped to greet the short dark blue haired girl that appeared at the door.

"So that's the girl who hadn't showed up since the first day...", Natsuki mumbled to herself, glancing at the usually empty seat in the opposite corner in the back. However Natsuki immediately heard some whispers and murmuring all over the classroom, cocking her eyebrow a bit confused.

The dark blue haired girl frowned looking at the floor a bit before immediately lifting her head as she noticed the red bow girl smiling brightly and waving her hand at her from the back of the room.

"You know her, Sayori?", Natsuki asked in a low voice, leaning towards her bubbly friend. "Yep! We met yesterday!", Sayori happily replied.

Natsuki simply let out a hmmm and leaned back to her seat, glancing at the dark blue haired girl heading to her seat who quickly averted her gaze as she tried to look at Sayori in discreet manner.

"Interesting...", Natsuki grinned. "Indeed!", Gensai replied happy.

"Shush!", Natsuki pulled his hair making him raise his voice with an ouch. "You there! Come to the front and solve this", the teacher shouted at Gensai who had no choice but to do so while Natsuki giggled at his expense soon stopping as the pain in her stomach shut her up.

=================

"You won't get away this time", the star of red bow blocking Natsuki's way with arms wide open spoke determined. Natsuki simply stared back at her, thinking of a way to escape.

It didn't take long as she took a quick glance at the right opposite corner, seeing the dark blue haired girl surprisingly obvious glancing at Sayori, so the pink girl made her move.

"Aren't you gonna go talk to your new friend?", Natsuki asked leaning back on her chair, not worried anymore. "Nnnnngh... Yes but...", the troubled bubbly girl glanced a few times at the dark blue haired girl, whose dark brown eyes met hers only for her to blush a bit and then get up from her seat and head for the door.

"Look, she's gonna get away if you don't hurry up. Why don't you just bring her here? Go and tell her to come eat with us", Natsuki simply said. "Okay! But promise me you won't escape!", Sayori pointed her finger at her.

"Promise", obviously, Natsuki crossed her fingers. "Oki-doki! I'll go tell her now!", the relieved Sayori took off in an instant, while Natsuki calmly walked after her limping a bit.

Sayori then jumped right were the narrow space between the first and second rows began, blocking the dark blue haired girl's way as she looked at her directly in the eyes, all while Natsuki quietly sneaked out of the classroom through the door behind Sayori.

"I'm so glad you came! I wouldn't have thought we were in the same class! Such a small world right?", Sayori bounced as she spoke. "Yeah...", the dark blue haired girl said looking off to the side, avoiding Sayori's dazzling smile.

"By the way I didn't ask for you name yesterday! With all the hurry and such hehe...", Sayori joined the tip of her index fingers. "Ryona", the dark blue haired girl simply smiled.

"Nice to meet you Ry! I can call you Ry, right? I'm Sayori!", the red bow girl granted her the usual bouncy introduction. "A-Alright...", Ryona blushed lightly at the nickname and looked away to try to hide it.

"One more thing, come join me and my friends! We can all eat and ta- AAAAH SHE ESCAPED AGAIN!!", Sayori shouted in defeat as the pink girl was nowhere to be seen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Hey", Jasmine said as she and the pink one crossed paths again, heading out once she saw her coming, but this time, Natsuki stopped her. "You don't need to leave", Natsuki looked away a bit ashamed of her behavior the other day.
"I know, but I have stuff to take care of out there, thanks though!", grinning as usual, the beanie hat girl tried to continue her way. "Please don't tell Yuri anything about yesterday", Natsuki asked blushing lightly and looking off to the side as she gently tugged on Jasmine's sleeve.
"My lips are sealed", the brown haired girl muttered patting Natsuki's shoulder, finally leaving as Natsuki headed to the middle of the classroom.
Yuri on the other hand, couldn't help but notice the little conversation between her two most recent friends, wondering if they knew each other, she felt a bit anxious as Jasmine certainly had a charm that may not go unnoticed by the pink girl.
After saying hi to each other, shrugging off the briefly pained expression Natsuki made when she sat down due to the doubt consuming her from inside, Yuri finally asked the big question.
"W-What did Jasmine tell you?", Yuri ran her fingers through a strand of purple hair. "Eh? Ah, nothing really, I just... gave her a pamphlet for the club!", Natsuki patted herself on the back mentally, proud at her quick mind to make up a excuse.
"Oh...", Yuri looked a bit more relaxed all of sudden. "Yeah, I figured you hadn't you shy bookworm!", Natsuki grinned cutely which for some reason, made the purple girl feel at ease and forget about her momentary self doubts and made up scenarios.
Giving her pink friend the usual tribute in the form of a candy, both girls happily chatted about the search of new members and their day so far in general while they eat, but soon the awkward silence fell upon them again.
However, Yuri had come prepared this time.
After her little incident the previous day asking for shampoo instead of what she initially wanted to ask to Natsuki, Yuri still kept with her that determination of doing something for this friendship to prosper, going to the bookstore herself.
"Ummm I-I have a little something for you, it's not much but...", Yuri said not letting the silence win as she excitedly leaned to the wide a little and pulled out something from her bag while Natsuki watched feeling her heart pumping.
"I-I hope you like it", Yuri said pulling out a relatively thin book with the picture of a blond priestess of a fantasy world. "Goblin slayer?", Natsuki mumbled as she grabbed the book and looked at it with sparkly magenta eyes due to the manga looking format.
However as she opened, while she did found some manga style drawings, she also found a lot of text, soon realizing what it was.
"I-I wanted to find a novel for you to read and I know you like manga so I asked the employee there what they would recommend for that case, they showed me these books called light novels and I thought it was the perfect thing but since I don't know what kind of manga you read, I chose something myself that seemed interesting", Yuri rambled excited but nervous at the same time as the fidgeting with her hair while she spoke showed it.
"I-It's dark fantasy but it doesn't seem scary so...", Yuri continued but this time Natsuki spoke. "Thanks, I'll make sure to read it", the pink girl smiled sweetly for a moment, causing the purple girl's heart to skip a beat unconsciously.
"B-But it's not like I love it or anything you hear!", Natsuki soon asserted dominance with a red face pointing the book at Yuri. "Let me read it sometime when you're done too?", The taller girl asked now full of an strange joy and confidence.
"We could read it together you know...", Natsuki looked away and spoke in a low voice with of course, light blush on her cheeks. Yuri's eyes shone like a thousand suns and sparkled like a starry night as she heard those words.
"I-I would like that", Yuri smiled warmly. "Let's start later during club, alright?", Natsuki asked with a smile as warm and a pounding excited heart.
================
Glancing at the door over and over again, there was no question that the person the purple girl waited for had yet to arrive. Greeting the newest members was something done by the autopilot mode as she kept waiting.
Finally, accompanied by the vice-president of the literature club, the pink girl arrived.
Sayori was quick to greet her but Yuri couldn't care less right now and fortunately for her, the Bubbly one went away to say hi and talk to the other members, leaving Natsuki all for herself.
"So? Where do you wanna do this?", Natsuki asked with a hand on her hip. "Anywhere is fine", Yuri replied.
"Then I'll sit here", Natsuki pulled a chair next to Yuri's and sat down closer to her after putting down her stuff and taking out the book. "Alright, let's st-", Yuri's fool smile she had, eager to read with a friend at last, soon disappeared as Natsuki couldn't finish saying her line due to some yelling outside growing louder.
"I still have two weeks! Stop bothering us!", the white ribbon girl grunted annoyed as she appeared at the door. "You should tell those new members to find a new club because this one is gonna disappear soon", the white haired girl behind her spoke almost melodically to mock her.
"Moni!", Sayori jumped out of nowhere and hugged the brunette while Monika calmly closed the door on the student council president yet again.
Before she disappeared however, Natsuki couldn't help but wonder if the white haired girl's brief pouty and upset face the moment Sayori hugged Monika was her imagination, due to her quickly shouting something outraged for being ignored and treated like that again.
"Sorry about that guys...", Monika sighed, resuming the club activities afterwards, heading to the desk with the vice-president behind.
Meanwhile Natsuki and Yuri simply started their book, quietly reading together only this time, the silence was welcomed only interrupted from time to time by the sound of throbbing hearts caused by the discreet glances at each other when they weren't looking.
