14: The bookstore

September 25th 2017

"N-Natsuki?", asked the purple girl in disbelief after closing the door of her locker and find a pink haired girl behind who looked at her with enigmatic magenta eyes.

However, the pink one said no word, grabbed the taller girl's hand and dragged her to the nearest bathroom, away from curious looks.

"Umm g-good mo-!!", not knowing what to say after their uncomfortable last time together, Yuri limited herself to try and greet her first but her words soon came to an end as the smaller girl wrapped her arms around her.

"Sorry... I overreacted last friday and said things I didn't mean...", Natsuki finally spoke serious yet the nervousness in her voice was almost palpable. "N-Natsuki...", Yuri's smile was now the brightest as her violet eyes sparkled with joy and relief, hugging the shorter girl back.

"I-It's hard to bring myself to say this so I'm really sorry if I acted dumb...", Natsuki said. "No, I'm sorry too, I should've been more straight forward to those boys, I-I really didn't want them to get in between our lunch time", Yuri spoke surprisingly clear, almost no stutters as she found herself almost lost in the strawberry scent of Natsuki's pink hair.

"No, I mean you can be friends or whatever with whoever you want", Natsuki spoke lowering her voice with every word this time, almost not wanting to say that. "I-I'm okay with the friends I have so far...", Yuri replied with a smile.

"Whatever then... Just don't tell anyone about this! I-It's not like I want us to keep getting along or anything!", Natsuki exclaimed and asserted dominance as she broke the hug to then ran away in a flash.

The purple girl simply watched her go with a smile on her face that showed a weight of 10 tons had been lifted off her shoulders.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Good morning Mayu~", the brunette of the white ribbon melodically said as she approached the white haired girl as soon as she arrived and sat down. "Good morning", Mayu bluntly replied, not even looking at her now.
"How was your weekend?", Monika asked with a sweet smile. "Like any other weekend", Mayu said as she pulled out a couple of sheets and focused on them.
"Come on tell me about it~", Monika said  leaning down and closer to her, hoping to gain her attention. "I have to take care of these forms, could you please?", Mayu politely yet coldly asked, finally looking at her with serious golden eyes.
"Okay, sorry...", Monika said putting on her best smile despite the bitterness in her throat that had been haunting her throughout the weekend. "You look pretty today", the white ribbon girl made one more attempt but the white haired girl didn't reply nor did she look at her either, not even a light blush crept on her face.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As the bell for lunch time rang, Yuri quickly packed her stuff and pulled out her lunch, ready to go and spend time with Natsuki again, despite this time not bringing an extra lunchbox for her, she hoped they could share.

But as she was ready to get up, a trio of boys leaded by a handsome blond one was already making their way towards her.

"Hey there, Yuri", Okabe said with his dashing signature smile. "Hello", Yuri replied nervous as the other two blocked her sides again as their leader sat down in front of her in that still empty chair.

"How's everything going? You got me worried last time we talked when you ran off like that", Okabe asked. "I-I...", Yuri tried to think of a way out but as she did, a familiar figure appeared behind him to her great surprise.

"Excuse me, man but that's my seat", said a girl of a beanie hat and red eyes. "Sorry, go find somewhere else to sit", the skinnier boy of black hair combed back said as Okabe didn't even bother to look at her.

"I said... That's my seat", Jasmine simply repeated and placed her hand on her blond one's shoulder gripping it hard. Okabe didn't say anything and abruptly stood up to face the beanie hat girl who didn't retreat one bit, now both looking at each other in the eye.

"Let's go guys, we'll come back some other time", Okabe said serious without taking his eyes off the red ones of the girl. "I'll see you around, Yuri", Okabe said smiling yet still facing the beanie girl, to then walk past her brushing his shoulder against hers, followed by his two friends.

"Sup Yuri", Jasmine said with her signature grin as she sat down like nothing happened. "Hi, Jasmine-san, I-I thought you wouldn't come today either, i-is everything okay by the way?", Yuri asked now a bit puzzled of what just happened.

"Yeah, all good, I just had some stuff to take care of haha", Jasmine casually replied. "I-I see...", Yuri said now growing anxious as she couldn't help but notice a scar on her left cheek that she was sure wasn't there before.

"Looks like your date's here", Jasmine chuckled as she glanced at the door where a pink girl sneaked her head through. "E-Eh?!", Yuri caught off guard blushed hard but soon smiled as Natsuki greeted her and the beanie hat girl with a smile, waving her hand.

"I-I'll see you later then", Yuri quickly bowed and left, happily chatting with the pink girl as they walked away. "Well, I gotta go see my own date now", Jasmine said to herself giggling at her own joke as she stood up and exited the classroom too.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"And then once we have the blaze rods from the nether we can start gathering enderman pearls to make enderman eyes", the red bow girl explained as she removed the cap of her juice bottle she just got from the vending machine.
"Then we can go to the end right?", the dark blue haired girl next to her asked. "Yup! But one step at a time hehe", Sayori smiled.
"Right", Ryona said with half a smile to then continue listening to her friend's rambling about cows but as they walked back to their classroom, she almost out of instinct turned her head to the left when they reached the corner for another hallway, where a very average looking boy crossed eyes with her for a second before casually look away and keep walking.
...
"Ah!", Sayori gasped as they returned to their classroom, the cause being a couple of a pink and purple haired girls happily chatting in their usual spot while Haru and Gensai discreetly gave the red bow girl a thumbs up.
But Sayori didn't care.
"The ship is fixed!!!", Sayori yelled and launched herself towards them, Natsuki and Yuri quickly moved aside, letting her crash and burn onto the wall behind.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Heya!- Ouch!", Jasmine said with a smile but the smacking sound of palm against flesh echoed throughout the narrow space they called club.

"Where have you been?! I've been texting you all weekend! Couldn't you at least text me back once?!", Kanae exclaimed, grabbing the beanie girl by the collar of her blazer while shaking her, both upset and mad.

"Sorry, sorry, I lost my phone last friday haha... But I'm glad to know you were a worried about me~", Jasmine said with a  mischievous grin. "I-I wasn't!", Kanae was quick to blush and let go, crossing her arms and looking away to hide it.

However, she stopped midway as something caught her attention, quietly grabbing Jasmine's head between her hands while pulling her down to be face to face.

"What happened to you?", Kanae asked concerned as she inspected the new scar on her left cheek. "I fell off my bike", Jasmine replied a bit nervous as she could feel Kanae's steady and soft breaths on her face.

"It's gonna stay there for a while...", the black haired girl said. "Yeah, I noticed that too haha...", Jasmine awkwardly smiled.

Then a greater blush appeared as Kanae locked eyes with her, still grabbing her head, faces mere inches away from each other. The frowning yet cutely concerned expression of the bow hairband girl caused a few out of place heartbeats on the beanie hat girl before being abruptly released much to her disappointment.

"You'll have to stay extra time all week as punishment", Kanae said, turning around like nothing happened. "Anytime for you~", Jasmine joked, back to her carefree self.

"What was that?!", Kanae turned to her mad. "Nothing~", Jasmine simple and melodically replied.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yuri now wondered heavily how Omiko and Erika did to arrive there before her, even though it had been barely 5 minutes since the bell rang. This time however, she didn't entered the classroom right away as she overheard something that caught her attention.
"B-But I spent all weekend picking a book for us to read...", Omiko sounded disappointed. "We can read, I mean just later when the others are here", Erika said brushing some off the girl's mint green hair off behind her ear.
"O-Okay... I was just a bit excited, sorry", Omiko said. "Don't be, however we can always read that manga Natsuki-chan lended us~", Erika giggled.
"And why not the book I picked for us?", Omiko asked upset. "The space is cool and all of that but don't you think is a bit...", Erika replied.
"A bit what?", Omiko sounded more serious time. "YOOO! Salutations dudes!", a third voice then echoed in Yuri's ears almost making her jump.
Then she saw the messy ponytail girl who just arrived and entered through the other door in the opposite side, almost flipping her way in, which let Yuri know it was time to get in too.
"Salutations to you too purple dude!", Emerson said as she noticed the taller girl entering behind. "H-Hello", Yuri bowed polite as ever, then waving her hand at the two other girls in the back who now looked like nothing just happened between them.
"Soooo! What now?", Emerson asked with hands on her hips as an abrupt silence had fallen there. "E-Eh? I don't know... Umm...", Yuri replied troubled.
"Just pick your seat and read something while Monika arrives", said another voice from behind that brought great relief and joy to the purple girl's heart. "Alrighty!", Emerson easily complied not even looking at the pink girl behind.
"Hey, not there! That's where Yuri and I sit!", Natsuki protested mad as the messy ponytail girl sat in the middle of the room. "Okay, okay, eesh...", Emerson replied a bit scared and like a scolded puppy went to the far left pouting sad with her tail between her legs.
"Aww don't be so mean Natsuki", Sayori which alongside Natsuki's usual group had arrived with her as well, something Yuri just noticed making her a bit embarrassed of how the small pink one could diminish her attention from the environment to that point.
"I as vice president will-", Sayori began saying and directed her attention to the messy ponytail one now sitting in the middle of the last row to the left. "Out of my way, Sayo-chan!", but the blond gyaru shoved the red bow girl away, going ahead.
"Look at you, poor thing", Haru said with a big smile as she approached the dark brown haired girl who innocently tilted her head. "Natsuki-chi, don't be mean to this pretty little one here~", Haru said as she walked around the girl and wrapped her arms around her neck from behind, pressing her prominent chest to the back of her head.
"Ahaha... Thanks dude but-", Emerson awkwardly said but was soon cut off as Haru gently pulled her head towards her, making her look at her from below with of course her attributes in the way who blocked half of her face. "My~ how beautiful your eyes are, Emy", Haru smirked deviously as she gently held Emerson's head between her hands.
"E-Emy?", Emerson began to sweat. "Looks like she's found her new target", Natsuki snorted, now sitting next to Yuri in their usual spot.
"S-Should we warn her about it?", Yuri asked concerned. "Nah, let's see how it goes, it should be fun", Natsuki grinned with great malice.
"What do you like to read, Emy?", Haru asked while petting the girl's head tenderly. "Well... I read a lot of fanfiction dude", Emerson replied smiling awkwardly.
"Really?? Me too!", Haru said giggling happy. "For real?", Emerson asked surprised.
"No, but I can start now", Haru said toying with her messy ponytail. "Ahaha... Guys, no one is gonna help me right?", Emerson asked looking around only getting a few smirks and some looks drifting to the side while whistling in response.
"As surprised as I am to see you two coming together, I'm now more worried about you, Haru", Monika said as she entered the room with the strawberry red haired girl behind, first looking at the pink and purple girls to then look at the blond gyaru squeezing the life of out Emerson from behind.
"Why~", Haru pouted. "Because that's the student council president's best friend and I don't want to be responsible for her innocence and purity being ripped into shreds", Monika sighed.
"Okay, okay, I'll take it slow then", Haru gave up and let go of the dark brown haired girl who simply smiled while rotating her body like a planet orbiting.
"Booo! Party pooper!", Natsuki booed her discontent but Monika simply smiled at her and ignored her right after.
==================
The things went back to normal in the end for the literature club, everyone were glad to see Natsuki and Yuri getting along again and whatever their problem was, for now it seemed to be in the past.
Once the bell rang, the usual pairings and groups began to form for the time to go home. Natsuki however excused herself mid way to use the restroom, vowing to meet their friends at the gates in a couple of minutes and as she went, a mint green haired girl who walked behind them with the twintailed girl wrapping her arm around her shoulders noticed and knew not to miss this chance, doing the same.
Once Natsuki entered the bathroom, she almost jumped as Omiko who approached her quietly like a ninja, tapped her shoulder, making her turn around startled.
"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you Natsuki-senpai!", Omiko immediately covered her mouth with both hands. "It's fine... You didn't scare me!", Natsuki tried to assert dominance quick.
"Umm, how's it going?", Omiko asked to break the tension a bit. "Eh... Going fine?", Natsuki replied and then looked around the bathroom.
"I-I know it's weird I'm talking to you like this in the bathroom hehe... But like, we haven't had much time to talk since last time when you lent me that book", Omiko replied scratching her cheek a bit embarrassed.
"Ah yeah, well Erika's been taking all of your time and I've been spending time with Yuri too so we both winning anyway", Natsuki shrugged and grinned proud. "Yes, I'm very happy for you", Omiko smiled.
"But...", Omiko said the b word which made the pink girl tilt her head curious. "Umm you see, things with Erika-senpai haven't been that good...", Omiko said looking off to the side, now looking upset.
"How come?", Natsuki asked with crossed arms. "Well it was nice at first, she was very sweet and all of that, needless to say she's really hot haha... But like... She's like that to every cute girl she finds", Omiko twitched her mouth.
"Really?", Natsuki asked. "Yes, you may have noticed that that time when we were deciding on bringing boys or not, she wanted more cute girls remember?", Omiko said.
"Ah yeah I remembered, but I thought she was just playing along...", Natsuki said. "Not really, I could tell she was serious. Like I said, she's very sweet and nice to any cute girl she likes, for example, when I go to her classroom during lunch, multiple times I've caught her flirting with some girls of her class even though they don't seem to be... You know", Omiko said and formed an L with her index and thumb.
"She also doesn't really make an effort to get to know me, she just flirts and makes a lot of insinuations to me about... You know...", Omiko said and made two peace signs with each hand. "I know! I know", Natsuki stopped her there before she did anything else.
"O-Okay... Anyway, I keep trying to get to know her better but she always turns everything to flirting somehow, I mean it's not like I don't want to do that with her, of course I want, who wouldn't? But shouldn't we go like one step at a time? You know at least confess to each other first, then have a date or something, kisses...", Omiko said blushing lightly.
"Yeah, I agree with you there...", Natsuki said closing her eyes in thought. "But she doesn't seem to be interested in doing any of that... Today I brought a book I chose for us to read so it could also be interesting for her and maybe start to get to know each other better but she insisted on touching me and all of that...", Omiko sighed.
"Okay, so the problem is that you want a serious relationship with romance and all of that, but she seems to just want to skip to sex?", Natsuki asked bluntly. "Y-Yes, something like that", Omiko blushed embarrassed.
"Damn... She's almost like any other boy...", Natsuki huffed and shook her head. "Kinda...", Omiko replied.
"She's like a womanizer it seems so... I don't know... Maybe you should try to find what you want somewhere else if she's not willing to give it to you?", Natsuki suggested. "You think?", Omiko asked troubled.
"Yeah, I mean have sex with her if you want but then focus on someone else, she'll probably start doing the same after getting what she wanted from you", Natsuki said. "That makes it sound like she's an awful person...", Omiko twitched her mouth.
"Well? Isn't she?", Natsuki asked cocking an eyebrow. "Ummm she's kind and nice when she wants to...", Omiko said.
"Listen, Omiko, don't fall in love with her, she sounds like the kind of person who will just get you in a toxic relationship, like I said, try to find love somewhere else", Natsuki grabbed Omiko by the shoulders and looked at her in the eye as she spoke.
"I-I'll keep that in mind...", Omiko sighed. "By the way... What's that shit you like to read?", Natsuki suddenly asked as an idea crept to her mind.
"Me? Umm it's a bit boring but I like to read about astronomy, you know the space, the universe, all of that...", Omiko replied. "He-he-he!", Natsuki laughed deviously.
"S-Senpai?", Omiko asked disturbed. "Don't go to Erika's classroom during lunch tomorrow, come to mine instead", Natsuki grinned.
"O-Okay? What for?", Omiko asked curious. "Just do it! Now outta here, I've held back long enough", Natsuki pointed at the door and then headed to the toilets.
=================
"I'm back bitches!", Natsuki said as she approached her group of friends waiting at the gates. "Where's that beanie dummy?", Natsuki asked as she didn't see Jasmine yet again.
"Her club president punished her again, extra time", Gensai replied. "That club president of hers really likes to have her all to herself", Natsuki chuckled.
"I-It sure seems that way, she gets punished a lot", Yuri giggled. "Yeah... You know, every time you say she's being punished by that girl... I'm gonna start checking on her neck to see if there's any marks next time I see her", Natsuki snorted.
While the two boys and girl of strawberry red hair laughed, Yuri couldn't help but let her imagination go wild and blush hard while realizing she had been staring at Natsuki the whole time she thought of that.
"Anyways, I guess we should go ahead then...", Natsuki said. "Relax, what's the rush?", Gensai asked.
"Well! I have to get home you know!", Natsuki said looking at him right in the eye while twitching her mouth. "Actually Jazzy and I have something important to do so we have to take care of that, so we won't delay you on the way home, you have the day full of free time!", Gensai spoke cryptically.
"I see...", Natsuki said as she began to understand what he meant. "Why don't you and Yuri go to that bookstore you told me about?", Ryuko suggested, making the confused Yuri look at her with eyes wide open.
"The bookstore...", Natsuki said while turning to Yuri who immediately averted her gaze and looked to the floor nervous while fidgeting with her purple hair. "Alright, you two hurry up before it gets late, remember you live far after all Tsuki!", Ryuko said as she pushed both out of the gates.
"S-See you tomorrow then!", Natsuki quickly turned around to said goodbye while Yuri did the same just bowing quickly before both continued their way side by side.
...
"Got job on getting them back together", Gensai said with a smile. "It's nothing, I know Tsuki very well, I just had to talk some sense into her. Let's just hope no one keeps getting in their way", Ryuko replied.
"So no gym today?", Ryuko asked to the school cap one after a brief silence. "Nope, we really have something to do elsewhere today", Gensai replied.
"I see, well, looks like it's just you and me now Ryou", Ryuko sighed. "Yeah, you both can go now, I'll wait for Jazz here", Gensai said and soon the two walked away.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"We're here", the purple girl said with a smile as they were now in front of a not so small but not so big bookstore. "Can't wait to see what mangas they have here!", Natsuki said excited as this waa the first time she visited this particular bookstore despite how close it seemed to be to her house, although being quite hidden between alleys was more of the reason why.

As they entered, a classic bell rang a couple of times when the door pushed to do so. The ever so welcoming smell of paper and wood immediately made Yuri feel at home specially since she tended to come here quite often to read in a small corner where a couple of wooden tables and chairs were for that purpose, always enjoying being surrounded by so much stuff to read.

"Oh! Yuri-chan welcome!", said a big old bald man of round glasses, funny mustache, long eyebrows almost like strands of hair and a pair of extremely full lips that looked like someone had punched him there making them swollen. "Good afternoon Mr. Minmeimaru", Yuri bowed polite as ever.

(A/N: if you get this reference, I'll literally award you with anything you want, but I know none of you will ha! 🤪)

"I see you brought a friend", Mr. Minmeimaru said with a big grin to the pink girl. "Ah, good afternoon!", Natsuki quickly realized her manners and bowed as well.

"Her name is Natsuki, we will be looking around for some books to get", Yuri said with a smile that wouldn't leave her face. "Go ahead, go ahead, you already know anything you need just call old Minmei and he'll be there in a jiffy", Mr. Minmeimaru said pointing at himself with his thumb.

"Thank you, then if you excuse us", Yuri bowed again, followed by Natsuki who did the same and followed after her to the back of the store. "You seem to be a regular here, why I'm not surprised", Natsuki chuckled quietly.

"I-It's a good place to come and relax every now and then", Yuri replied a bit embarrassed. "For bookworms like you of course it is. Now where's the manga section?", Natsuki grinned.

"Over here I think...", Yuri said turning to the far right, right behind the tables for readers. "Uh? "Praise the bun! does God actually wear a bow?", "Yoga as a mean to help you reach your manga on the top shelf", what kind of books are these?", Natsuki asked scratching her head as her magenta eyes caught the strange titles of a series of books lined in a single row next to where the manga shelves started.

"Those are by Doki Doki publishing right?", Yuri asked turning to her. "Yeah, that's what it says...", Natsuki said now holding one and flipping through the pages.

"I think they're books about martial arts...", Yuri replied. "Ah... Not my thing then!", Natsuki quickly put it back on its place and focused on the manga section fully.

"Woo! There's so much stuff here! Let alone that, there are a lot of titles here I thought you could only find online these days!", Natsuki with a huge smile on her face grabbed a couple of thin books that read "Strawberry panic!" At the top with a white haired and red haired girls on the cover.

"S-So they are rare?", Yuri asked smiling at the cute excited pink girl. "More less yeah, the thing is these are so old that- oh my god...", Natsuki began explaining as her magenta eyes traveled through the shelves but suddenly, her body began shaking as she caught one that she never thought she would see ever.

"A-Are you okay, Natsuki?", Yuri asked concerned as the pink girl trembled while carefully grabbing the thin book between her hands. "LOOK YURI LOOK!!", The pink girl shouted as she almost shoved the book on Yuri's face.

"W-What is it?", the purple girl asked troubled trying to walk backwards to see it better but Natsuki kept moving it closer to her face. "This is the first ever yuri manga!! Like the very very first! Look!", Natsuki said anxiously agitating the manga in front of Yuri's face.

"Y-Yuri manga?", The purple girl obviously curious asked. "Ah... Y-You don't know what that is?", Natsuki suddenly went pale as Yuri denied with her head.

"Umm... To put it simple... It's when two girls you know...", Natsuki now blushing madly said while making a heart joining her thumbs and index fingers. "O-Oh...", Yuri replied blushing as hard as she understood.

"Yeah... Haha... But anyway! This one "Shiroi Heya no Futari" is the first one of the genre, of course before that there were some other things like novels and stuff, but manga itself this one's the very first, putting aside all the previous cliches of seeing this kind of love as something not to be taken serious or something just temporary, this one goes deeper into the love development by the two protagonists and their struggle while being something not accepted yet, fighting for it", the pink girl explained like a teacher lecturing their children.

"I see... That sounds lovely", Yuri replied with a smile. "Yeah, it's not like I want anything like that though!!", Natsuki quickly turned around while awkwardly laughing.

"Why is she hiding it now? I already- wait... When did she...?", Yuri thought while a strange realization appeared. "W-What do you think about it though? Love between two girls I mean...", Natsuki suddenly asked breaking the taller girl out of her train of thought.

"Eh? A-Ah... Me? Well... Ummm... I think Love is love, social status, nationality, color of your skin, as well as gender, none of that should matter when you love someone, simple as that", Yuri replied with a smile and closed eyes while putting her hand on her chest.

"Y-You're smarter than I thought then!", Natsuki every time looking more and more nervous, replied with still that mad blush on her face but nonetheless a relieved looking smile through her tsundere act. "So you agree?", Yuri asked.

"Yeah of course I do!", Natsuki exclaimed. "I'm glad", Yuri replied smiling just as relieved.

"Why are you glad?", Natsuki asked nervously looking off to the side while crossing her arms. "Ah! N-Nothing just... Ummm I-I'm glad we think alike!", Yuri replied nervous.

"Humm okay... Here put this one in the bag, I want it", Natsuki smiled glad while handing Yuri the manga she talked about and focused on the shelves again. "Man, so much stuff here I want... I'm gonna start being a regular here as well...", Natsuki said while inspecting the shelves absorbed.

While she did, Yuri found herself quiet, just staring at the pretty face of Natsuki looked from the side, her small pointy nose, her long eyelashes, those bangs of pastel pink hair brushed to the right held by her characteristic red hair clip shaped like an sand clock and of course those magenta eyes where the dim yellow light of the old bookstore reflected on.

Yuri thought she could keep looking at that lovely sight forever but instead, she decided to do something else, gathering all the courage she got from learning better about Natsuki's thoughts on love.

The purple girl then walked over to her and gently grabbed her wrist, making the pink girl look at her with curious magenta eyes.

"Can we read this here? I want to learn more about the things you like", Yuri, as surprising as it was, spoke with no stutters in the way, looking at Natsuki in the eye with a sweet dreamy smile. "A-Alright...", almost hypnotized by the beautiful sight before her, the pink girl simply replied blushing lightly.

"I'll go pay for it then, we have to do that first before reading hehe", Yuri looked as happy as never before. "Wait! I can pay fo-", Natsuki soon realized and protested now out of her dreamy state.

"Consider it a way for me to thank you for coming with me", Yuri turned to her with a beautiful smile on her face, something that pierced through Natsuki's heart and almost made her run and kiss her right away, but in the end she just smiled back and set a couple of chairs next to each other for them to sit.

=================

"It's got quite late...", Natsuki said after both exited the bookstore and looked at the sky above turning a dark shade of orange now that the sun was about to fully set. "Let's wait for a taxi in the main street, I'll pay", Yuri said and handed Natsuki her credit card as she began to walk

"Eh? Wait Yuri no!", Natsuki followed after her. "I-I don't want you to be out there when it's dark, since you live far and all of that", Yuri said with her hands behind her back while looking to the front.

"I actually live just 15 minutes from here... But I gotta keep the secret for a bit longer... Now that I think about it... Maybe I should pull my skirt upper so my legs can be seen better, I've been looking at myself in the mirror and they are starting to look thicker at least", Natsuki now deep in thought smiled proud to herself.

"What are you smiling about?", Yuri asked curious as she noticed. "Ah! Nothing, nothing! Just remembering that time Sayori's shoe got the toilet clogged", Natsuki quickly replied and grinned cutely while Yuri simply giggled at the memory.

"Anyways, what did you think about the manga?", Natsuki asked, now both waiting for a taxi to pass in the main street. "It was a beautiful story but I can't help to be sad for that tragic ending", Yuri replied.

"Yeah... But you're right that the story is great", Natsuki sighed satisfied. "D-Do you think we can come here more often?", Yuri suddenly asked, nervous as ever.

"Mm?", Natsuki turned to her curious. "I-I want you to show me more and more of the books and stories you enjoy and I want to show you too the ones I like sometime", Yuri asked fidgeting with her hair glancing a few times at Natsuki with a nervous smile.

"Okay then, I'll see what I can do about it", Natsuki blushed lightly as she replied with a sweet smile. "Thank you", Yuri bowed grateful and happy, giving the pink girl her best and most sincere smile.

"Yeah, yeah, but it's not like I want to spend time with you outside school or anything", Natsuki crossed her arms, closed her eyes and smugly smiled while joking her reply. "There's the taxi", Yuri giggled and then said as she saw the yellow cab coming their way, raising her hand for it to stop.

And finally, after a quick goodbye, all that remained there was the fast throbbing heart of the purple girl who watched her loved one go with a smile.
