1: You have me

Thank you for stopping by.

If you are curious to read this story, I must give you a fair warning of what to expect as it may not be suitable for everyone's tastes.

If you're looking for a quick Natsuri story where they will be dating by the third of fifth chapter, then you came to the wrong story.

The slowburn and drama tags are there for a reason.

The girls may go through a lot of situations that some people may not like. They may fight, the may split up, misunderstandings may happen, their own demons may get in the way. Something may try to keep them apart. They may even go through other relationships (no hetero though, just gayland here).

With that said and if you're still interested, I welcome you to this story that I write in order to create something different from what you usually find about this beautiful couple but that I assure you, in the end will show their love stands above all.

September 4th 2017

"Ouch! What the-?!", exclaimed the rushed pink haired girl who stumbled back at the sudden bump. "I-I'm so sorry!", a purple haired girl of taller height apologized with all her might.

"Oh. Yuri", the pink girl said as she realized she knew the one she bumped into. "N-Natsuki, good morning", bowed and said the purple girl politely.

"The hell are you doing here? This is my class. Wait- did you actually fai-", Natsuki asked with wide open magenta eyes as the unlikely idea crossed her mind. "N-No, I just... I-I...", Yuri denied with her head and struggled to reply.

"Whatever, tell me later. Now, out of the way, gotta go find my seat", Natsuki sighed as she realized her purple acquaintance struggle. "S-Sorry. Have a nice d-day", Yuri responded with a polite smile and after a quick reverence, moved out of classroom entrance and walked away.

Natsuki entered her new classroom with a big smile on her face and headed for her seat.

"I almost feel like I'm in an anime now", she thought as she came to realize her seat was one in the far corner next to the window. "Great, a delinquent...", Natsuki then mentally sighed as she noticed the guy sitting in front of her seat.

"Greetings and salutations pink pal!", the boy in question suddenly exclaimed the moment they crossed eyes as Natsuki approached her seat. "What did you just call me?!", Natsuki asked showing no signs of fear despite the looks of his odd classmate.

"Pink pal!", happily ever exclaimed the school cap delinquent again letting Natsuki see his crooked teeth in a big friendly grin. "Listen I-", Natsuki was about to give him a piece of her mind before her body instinctively braced itself for the impact incoming when she heard to loud yell.

"Pink paaaaaal!", like a missile wearing a red bow hitting its target, a girl of peach colored hair loudly made her presence felt as she tackled Natsuki with an spinning hug, both almost crashing against the closet in the near back.

"Restriction order!! Restriction order!!", Natsuki repeated as the red bow girl, shades of the world strongest man Mark Henry, kept bearhugging the life out of her.

"Nnnngh! There, done!", the peach haired girl happily said as she let go of the pink one who just playfully punched her shoulder. "Owie!", she exclaimed.

"Oh quit it Sayori! You just tried to break my back", Natsuki huffed and crossed arms. "What are you doing here anyway?", she then asked.

"Why you ask? This is my class too! Isn't it great?! Where in the same class this year!", miss red bow bounced happy as she exclaimed. "Oh... I didn't know", Natsuki put on a face that said she was not impressed whatsoever.

"Eeeeh? You didn't see my name on the list?", Sayori asked confused. "Nah, didn't even look for it", Natsuki grinned cutely.

"You meanie! That's the first thing I did just so you know", Sayori said and pouted. "See if my name was in the same list as yours?", Natsuki asked frowning.

"Yeah, well any of my friends actually hehe. But surprisingly, none of my friends from the previous year are in this class, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't know anyone here", Sayori said joining the tip of her fingers a bit embarrassed.

"Talk about bad luck", Natsuki said. "Yep! I see you still found your friends here which reminds me... Oh funky! Sorry I've been ignoring you!", Sayori with blue eyes wide open jolted and turned to the school cap boy next to them.

"It shall be no worry for you my red bow fella!", the boy of funny mustache and goatee responded with a thumbs up. "I'm Sayori! Natsuki and I are in the same club so we're friends too! And you know what they say, the friend of my friend is my friend!", bouncing as she introduced herself, the red bow girl said.

"Hold it right there. Sayori, two things: One, it's "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". Two, he's not my friend, I don't even know him", Natsuki explained nice and slow for her bouncy friend to catch.

"I'm Gensai Togashi, a bless to meet you!", after getting up from his seat, the school cap boy stood next to Sayori and bounced along as he spoke.
"Pfft this is bizarre but I'll take it. Name's Natsuki as she said", the pink girl snorted at the peculiar sight of the red bow girl and the rough looking delinquent bouncing together like basket balls and said.

Then a brief silence fell.

"Eh... What are we waiting for?", Natsuki asked cocking an eyebrow. "We're waiting for you to bounce along", Gensai replied.

"When cows shit cupcakes. Where's your seat anyway Sayori?", Natsuki sighed. "Right there", Sayori pointed at the chair and desk right next to Natsuki's own.

"This really can't get wor-", the pink girl was about to state before whispers that soon turned into fan girl squeaks filled the classroom. "I had to talk...", Natsuki sighed once she identified the cause of the sudden ruckus coming their way.

A short boy of stylishly messy hair of wine red color and red matching glasses, delicate face factions almost like a girl and a little mole under his smiling mouth walked politely waving his hand at various girls that did the same scattered around the room.

"Good morning, excuse me", the pretty looking boy said politely as he walked past the bouncing two and sat down with grace in front of what was Sayori's desk. "Morning!", Sayori and Gensai responded in bouncy unison.

Natsuki simply watched and thought. "Analysis: Considering the minority I am part of, the chances of her liking boys are higher. Even if she swings both sides, I may not be able to compete with this fool. Fuck dammit he has even prettier eyelashes than me and is polite.
Mental note: Keep this guy out of the club".

================

The lessons weren't the greatest thing and consumed by boringness, the pink girl needed a little breather to restore her brain cells.

Although she didn't really need to go, Natsuki eventually headed for the restroom. However, as she walked a two rooms past her classroom, she found herself with an interesting sight.

Just two classrooms away from hers, was none other than class 3-A and there one third year she knew very well.

Sitting in the middle of the classroom wasthe girl of long beautiful purple hair. Natsuki hid right outside the door to take a little peak at what her secret crush was like when she was in class.

Yuri was quietly paying attention but soon opened her violet eyes a little wider and stood up as the teacher seemingly called her name. Natsuki couldn't quite hear what she was saying nor what she was asked about but was delighted at the sight of her purple haired clubmate.

Her tender looking lips formed a little smile as they moved while she spoke, hands behind her back and looking at the floor a little nervous, which in Natsuki's opinion, looked extremely adorable.

The pink girl wanted to hear what Yuri was rambling about, wishing she could be part of the same class so she could hear her graceful and always kind voice as she spoke with eloquence.

Natsuki was smiling with a light blush on her face that even she didn't notice. She wanted Yuri to speak to her like that some time but so far, she could only day dream about it.

A day dream that suddenly came to an end.

Natsuki's smile disappeared off her face as she saw Yuri stopping her rambling abruptly, her smile too had vanished from her pretty face that overall had turned into a sorrowful expression.

The pink girl was able to notice various people in the class whispering to each other while Yuri nervously fidgeted with one of her prominent strands of hair and looked at the floor ashamed.

Yuri simply sat down, hiding her face behind her hair while Natsuki couldn't help but wonder what just happened.

Almost as if someone above read her mind, Yuri suddenly got up from her seat and started walking to the front. Natsuki was taken by surprise but was quick to think and act as she escaped from the scene, seeing just by the corner of her eye as she looked back how Yuri was about to cross the door.

Natsuki quickly headed to the bathroom and shut herself inside one of the toilet cabins, but as she heard the door seconds later open, she quickly climbed on top of the toilet itself to avoid being seen, not really knowing why she was avoiding so hard to be found.

The pink girl covered her mouth as she heard footsteps that soon stopped, judging by the shadow seen from there reflecting on the floor, in front of the sinks.

Natsuki's fast beating heart from the adrenaline of not being caught, immediately shrank as quiet sobs were heard for a brief moment before being drowned by the running water from the sink.

Curious as the cat she was at heart, Natsuki carefully popped out her head above the cabin door, standing on her tip toes as high as possible.

There she saw the extensively long dark purple hair of the tall girl standing there and through the mirror, her now puffy violet eyes as tears clearly streamed down her delicate face.

Natsuki then knew she had two options. Ignore this and leave her alone or be the one that Yuri surely needed right now. Her choice was clear.

The pink girl carefully got down from the toilet and quietly opened the door which still made a dim creaking sound that immediately made the purple girl jump startled and turn around with her hands behind her back.

Face to face now were the pink and purple girls, magenta and violet eyes looking at each other and a brief silence falling over the girls restroom before one of the spoke.

"Hey", Natsuki said as she closed the door behind her. "N-Natsuki, I-I didn't see- I thought there wasn't-", Yuri struggled to find her words.

"Are you saying I'm too short you didn't see me?! Huh?!", feisty as ever, Natsuki raised her voice at her. "I-I...sorry", Yuri simply lowered her gaze not knowing what to say.

"Relax, I was joking. You really seem like you needed a joke", Natsuki awkwardly smiled as she pointed at her own cheekbones and down, mimicking tears. "A-Ah! I-I'm okay, I just...", Yuri tried to speak but still didn't wipe the tears off her face, still hiding her hands behind her back as if she was hiding something.

"Nah, you're not", Natsuki sighed and pulled out a white little handkerchief from her blazer's pocket and to her purple clubmate's surprise, started cleaning the tears off her pretty face.

Yuri opened her eyes wider in surprise, soon a light blush occurred as she saw the shorter pinkette looking at her with pretty magenta eyes that showed concern as she gently moved her handkerchief across her face.

"There. Now, what's wrong? And don't you there giving me that crap that nothing's wrong because I'll grope your huge tits", Natsuki was as feisty as usual, standing with crossed arms which reassured Yuri a bit, giving her the little confidence push she needed to open up to her now that this felt like a normal conversation with a friend.

"I-I... I... You may be right about me...", Yuri sighed sad. "About what?", Natsuki asked confused.

"Y-You always say I'm arrogant and-", Yuri tried to speak but Natsuki hissed to shut her up. "You know I don't mean it come on!", Natsuki pouted looking away with a light blush.

"Sorry...", Yuri lowered her head in shame. "Why you said that though?", the pink girl asked concerned.

"I'm not the only one who says that... I guess nobody wants to be around me after all, it's always been like that. Nobody talks to me, I always walk alone in this school, nobody wants to be friends with an arrogant b-", Yuri rambled, getting more intense as she continued, tears emerging from her violet orbs again, all until the pink girl allowed no more.

Natsuki pressed her finger against Yuri's lips to shut her up, stopping her tears and raising the heat on both faces immediately, her managing to control herself better as she spoke.

"You have me... And Sayori and Monika too... Don't say you don't have friends or that nobody wants to be around you okay? Don't act like I- we don't exist", Natsuki looked away, cheeks burning with the flames of hell as she removed her finger from Yuri's lips once she finished.

"T-Thank you, I'm sorry", Yuri said smiling at last as the adorable sight in front of her couldn't be responded any other way. "If you want, I can join you for lunch or something...", Natsuki said shyly.

"It would be my pleasure", Yuri said, unable to erase the smile off her face as her chest tickled a little. "See you later then... Wait, where?", Natsuki asked as realization struck.

"I'll be in my classroom, 3-A", Yuri replied. "Alright. Well, I'll go back to my class now, bye", Natsuki said unable to look at Yuri in the eye or else her racing heart could explode.

Yuri just watched her go, smiling warmly as the feeling inside her chest took over her body before she realized.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Lunch timuuuuu!!", Sayori howled along the ringing bell that marked 12. "At least let the teacher pack her stuff", Natsuki sighed watching the poor woman shrug and smile awkwardly at the class.
"Whatcha bring for lunch Nats??", Sayori asked with sparkly eager blue eyes. "What's it to ya'?", Natsuki responded with crossed arms and look away like the tsundere she was in mind and soul.
"Whatzittooya? Is it something sweet?", asking with enthusiasm, bounced Sayori in her chair. "Now it is", Natsuki chuckled to herself as Sayori tilted her head confused.
"Well, I'll try it anyway!", Sayori exclaimed as she jumped off her seat and grabbed Natsuki's desk, turning it 90° towards her. "The fuck are you doing?", Natsuki asked confused.
"A table!", Sayori exclaimed as she joined her desk with Natsuki's. "Gens! Bring that desk over here!", Sayori shouted full of joy.
The school cap boy didn't respond.
"Ouch!", Gensai exclaimed as Natsuki pulled his black slightly long for a boy and messy hair. "Sayori's talking to you, idiot!", feisty as always she exclaimed.
"My apologies! What can I do for ya'?", Gensai asked with a crooked teeth smile. "Join your desk with ours!", Sayori responded and so he did.
"Lemme see lemme see!", Sayori slammed the desk repeatedly as Natsuki grabbed her backpack, opened it and dug her small hand inside. "Give me a second...", Natsuki said as she reached for something inside and pulled it out.
Natsuki flicked her off.
"Meanie!", Sayori covered her eyes. "Pfft hahaha! I didn't bring anything so I'll go get something from the vending machine", Natsuki said as she got up.
"I'll go with you!", Sayori jumped off her seat. "No! I mean... You shouldn't leave this poor idiot eating alone", Natsuki said pointing at Gensai who was eating his rice ball.
"I don minf", Gensai replied with his mouth full. "Yes you mind! Now stay here Sayori!", Natsuki commanded, made better by her natural feisty attitude.
"Okay!", Sayori let herself fall on her chair and smiled. "I'll be right back then!", Natsuki said smiling relieved and dashed out of the classroom.
"She's full of energy today", Sayori said. "I wonder what's giving her all that energy", the school cap boy smirked mysteriously to which Sayori tilted her head confused but shrugged anyway and continued enjoying her food.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"I'm here!", the pink haired girl exclaimed after one loud clap on Yuri's ear, taking advantage of her purple clubmate extreme focus on reading. Yuri squeaked cutely, slightly jumping on her seat startled.

"Pfft you should see your face", Natsuki tried to hold back laughter but it didn't take a second for her to feel bad once she saw Yuri's sad expression.

"S-Sorry I didn't mean to...", Natsuki said scratching her cheek ashamed. "N-No! It's okay, I-I'm just not used to it, t-that's all...", Yuri said trying to put on her best smile which pierced Natsuki's heart like an arrow everytime.

"A-Anyways! What did you bring for lunch?", Natsuki asked trying to cool down her heating face. "Umm fish rolls and rice, the usual I guess", Yuri said smiling awkwardly.

"Ugh, stop smiling, I can't with that much adorableness", thought the pink girl of light pink cheeks. "A-And...you?", Yuri asked confused now that she noticed her pink clubmate didn't bring anything with her.

"Me? Ah... I forgot my lunchbox at home", the shorter girl looked away. "W-Why don't you buy something-", Yuri tried to ask.

"I forgot most of my money too!", but Natsuki was quick to reply. "I-I can lend you so-", the taller girl tried.

"No! I mean, it's fine, I'll eat when I get home, don't worry", Natsuki cut her off again. Yuri's expression was clearly troubled but she soon got an idea and reached for something inside her bag.

Yuri didn't say anything and simply offered a chocolate bar to Natsuki with a sweet smile. "No, I-I told you-", Natsuki tried to refuse.

"J-Just take it as thanks for making me some company", Yuri said still smiling adorably. "Fuck. I can't say no to that pretty face", Natsuki sighed and accepted the candy.

"T-Thanks", Natsuki mumbled blushing and looking away as expected. Yuri nodded with a smile still.

"Let's change the topic. I'm curious. Why were you in my classroom this morning?", the feisty one asked as she ripped the wrapper off the chocolate. "E-Eh...", Yuri clearly struggled, her deviated look and her shaking chopsticks were enough proof.

"I-If I tell you, p-promise not to laugh?", the purple girl asked blushing lightly. "Promise!", Natsuki replied with a cute grin and taking a bite from her chocolate.

"Okay... I-I... Well... Ummm that classroom was my classroom last year so I kinda...", Yuri struggled to continue. "You were distracted and entered there out of force of habit?", Natsuki eagerly asked and Yuri simply nodded.

"That's so ador-!! I mean that's so a-a-absolutely normal! Don't be so embarrassed about it!", Natsuki, the pink haired tomato, replied. "I-Is it really?", the shy bookworm asked with puppy eyes.

"I'm gonna die", Natsuki thought. "Yeah, it happened to me in middle school too!", Natsuki looked away to avoid certain death.

"I-I'm not telling you that to make you feel better or anything though!", Natsuki quickly pointed the half eaten chocolate at Yuri to reassert dominance and looked away again, made a blushing mess.

Yuri smiled and feeling as if a big weight had lifted off her shoulders, she ate the rest of her food with that grace characteristic of her once again.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Pink paaaaaal!!", the red bow girl almost sunset flipped her way towards the pink girl who crossed the classroom door. Natsuki moved aside letting her crash onto the teacher's desk.
"Welcome back", Gensai said still eating, now a bag of peanuts, offering some to the pink girl. "Thanks", Natsuki took some and sat down.
"Where were you? I was really worried but Gen wouldn't let me go looking for you, he said you should come back soon and minutes passed an-", Sayori rambled but Natsuki shot a peanut into her mouth to cut her off.
"The vending machine didn't work so I went to the cafeteria and ate something there", Natsuki replied her already prepared excuse. "You should've texted me and we would've caught up with you there", Sayori said pouting.
"I forgot", Natsuki shrugged and noticed the pretty boy was still there now reading something. "Yep, good decision to not bring her here", Natsuki patted herself on the back mentally.
================
"Yuriiiiiii!", the bubbly girl shouted and launched herself towards the quietly reading purple girl in the middle of the room. Yuri braced herself but the impact never came.
"Stop right there. Don't tackle people like that", the pink girl had grabbed her by the blazer to stop her while Sayori tried kicking the air to free herself from her.
Yuri smiled and shyly waved her hand at Natsuki who blushed deeply in one second and shyly waved back looking away.
"Okay, everyone!", a fourth girl of long brown hair tied in a ponytail by a white ribbon appeared appeared at the door with her classic finger raised pose. "Monika!", Sayori exclaimed and redirected the target.
Natsuki let go of her, allowing her to tackle Monika into a good old bear hug. "It's good to see you too, Sayori", Monika said trying to breath.
"First and only day of the year you don't get late here", Natsuki said as she headed to the back of the classroom. "It's nice to see you too, Natsuki, Yuri", Monika replied glancing at both pink and purple girls.
"Okay, enough wrestling Sayori I gotta talk to you about som-", Monika said as she gently pushed Sayori off her, but couldn't finish as something else began to unfold.
"Alright, guys! This is the place, give it a look so you can see if it fits your needs", accompanied by two boring looking boys, entered a girl of golden eyes, white hair like snow around her shoulders with two buns as well and a red band around her right arm.
"What are you doing here?! I told you I'd get them!", Monika, who her clubmates have always known to be cool, calm and collected, raised her voice in a clearly angry tone at the white haired girl.
"Yes, yes, sure, but the president and vice president of the chess club requested to see the classroom I'll assign to them", the white haired girl replies with a smug grin. "You're not assigning this classroom to anyone! We'll have the 11 members before the deadline!", Monika exclaimed as she stood face to face with the white haired girl who's as tall as her.
"11 members?", Sayori was the first to ask. "What? Your club president didn't tell you?", the girl of golden eyes asked the sad and confused red bow girl.
"I was just about to", Monika sighed annoyed. "Unless this club has at least 11 members by the 22nd of this month, we, the student council will have to disband this literature club that has been ignoring the rule of having a minimum of 5 members to be officially recognized as an official club", the white haired girl explained with a confident voice.
"B-But we are 4, we can just get one more and-", Sayori tried to speak only to be quickly silenced by the white haired girl's energetic voice. "No~! The chess club who have met the proper requirements before the summer break, has a current roster of 10 members and they're all waiting for a space to be assigned to them so they can start their club activities", the white haired girl explained.
"But since the club activities are at their highest this year, we have no free classrooms for them to use so we had to reconsider some special cases like this club that has been breaking the rules and were allowed with the promise they'd meet the requirements eventually, am I correct, Monika?", the white haired smugly smiled at Monika with one hand on her hip.
"It works", one of the boring looking boys said to the white haired girl. "Very well then! In 3 weeks time you'll be able to give a much better use to this place", the white haired girl said smiling confident.
"Over my dead body! We'll be 11 literature club members before the 22nd, Tsurugi!", Monika exclaimed in Tsurugi's face, their noses almost touching, emerald green and golden eyes crossing. "I want to see that, but I know it won't happen. Good luck, Mo-ni-ka!", Tsurugi said poking Monika's shoulder 3 times, grinning confident to then leave the club quietly giggling.
"Ugh... I want to punch her so badly", Monika grunted annoyed as she sat down and buried her face on the teacher's desk. "How the hell are we gonna get 7 members?! We haven't even got 1 since I joined! And that was in october last year!", Natsuki asked outrageously.
"We'll get them! We just gotta work hard and ask everyone we know to join us!", Sayori exclaimed enthusiastically. "Get your smelly feet back to earth Sayori! Our club is done!", Natsuki grunted and kicked some dust on the floor.
"But...", Sayori tried to speak. "We barely know a few people! And if even Monika who's the popular girl here hasn't got her followers to join then we're pretty much-", Natsuki rambled but was suddenly interrupted.
"I-I don't want this club to disappear...", Yuri simply said with her head low, the sad expression on her face visible from even the other side of the world.
"-getting those 7 idiots! We'll get those members, even if I have to do it by force!", Natsuki finished all fired up. "Yay!", Sayori celebrated. "Thanks Yuri!", Monika lifted her head from the desk and grinned at the suddenly confused Yuri.
"I ain't doing it for her or anything!", Natsuki quickly asserted dominance. "T-Thank you, Natsuki", Yuri smiled at Natsuki from her seat hiding half her face behind the thick book on her hands.
"D-Don't get the wrong idea!", consumed by the flames of hell, the pink girl exclaimed with great feast.
