"Welp, that was fun. Too bad we got interrupted, I'm gonna go make some Malowmelt feel free to carry on,"

What the? Sophie just ran out on me, I wonder what's going on in her head right now, with Grady and Edaline just walking in, and Grady yelling at her... Grady yelling at her... Grady... Oh crap.

"What do you think you're doing with my daughter?" Grady yells at me, shaking his fists."
"I- I- We- we were just talking!" Say frantically, looking desperately at Edaline

"Just talking!" Grady yells, "Just talking, really..." His voice drips with sarcasm.

"Grady, lay off of him, Sophie is a teenager now, we should let her make her own decisions, who she wants to be friends with, who she wants to date, who she wants to kiss." Edaline says, looking at Grady. I'm starting to like Edaline a lot more now.

"Bu-but Eda... That Boy is crazy, he's going to end up with nothing because all he does is skip classes and pull pranks."

"And Draw." I mutter under my breath.

"I'm sure he has something going for him." Edaline says, pulling Grady out of the room. "Sorry for this Keefe, good luck with Sophie."

"Thanks," I say, looking out the window.
