He carries her to his place, makes her lie down on the charpai. One reason, his place is more convenient, the other, he doesn't want to part with her so soon.

He smiles, easing the dupatta around her neck, and brushing back some of the hairs from her face.

She looks beautiful in sleep, eh.

So cute...

He pulls a stool and sits watching her. He doesn't know how much time passed. But she's opened her eyes now

"Wh- what happened?" she asks sitting up at once and looking at him.

"You fainted, remember? I carried you..."

He smiles at her, but then remembering how she emptied his drink- "why did you do it Sri?"

Her first name on his lips brings a smile on her face. She smiles.

"Because drinking is bad for your health."

She states, smiling a little sheepishly.

"So you drank it? I know my limits. I don't drink that much. But well... if you want me to stop... then well..." He reaches out to touch her cheek, "I'll stop."

She smiles widely, shaking her head. Then she narrows her eyes looking at the watch. It's nearly 1 am now.

"What were you doing all this time, Maari?"

He laughs.

"Watching you sleep, what else?"

"Wh- why?"

He chuckles.

"You're beautiful, I couldn't look away."

There's a tinge of red in her cheeks as she laughs at him.

"Oh, Maari, you... "

She trails off, probably feeling shy.

"It's the truth, ma. Now sleep, I'm gonna sleep too. Do you want to sleep in the room? I can sleep here..."

He gets up, ready to turn on his heel, but she holds his hand. Then she signals him to join her on the charpai..

His eyes widen... what now? They are going to sleep in the same bed?

He sits at first on her insistence.

"Don't go, please, Maari, be with me."

Something snaps in him at those words. He sighs.

"I told you. Don't say things like that..."

She smiles innocently.

"Like what?"

"Like this one. Makes me crazy."

"Really?"

She smiles at him while lying down on her back. He lies down beside her, a little too aware of the cramped space. The charpai isn't meant for two people.

But okay, he might lie down for a while until she sleeps.

She snuggles closer to him, wrapping one arm around him, and rests her head on his chest. Uh oh. No escape now.

He looks down at her with a sigh. Placing a kiss on top of her forehead, he closes his eyes.

When Sridevi opens her eyes to see Maari's sleeping face.

'Aw.'

It's still dawn though.

She closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep. Just being close to him gives her peace.

She wakes up when someone pokes on her cheek.

"Good morning"

She smiles at him, looking up from where she is. Still in his embrace is where she is...waking up in his arms is a great way to start her day indeed!

"Good morning..."

He kisses her on the forehead lovingly. so many kisses, she smiles again as he pulls away to sit up on the charpai.

She sits too. He touches her cheek.

"How are you feeling? Are you ok? Does your head hurt?"

His concern brings a smile on her face.

"No...."

She looks down feeling a little embarrassed.. well they did fall asleep together n it's embarrassing!

He must be really worried because he leans his face forward to peer at her.

"Are you sure ma?"

She looks at him to reassure him and finds his face really close.

"Yes.."

She grins reaching out to place a soft kiss on his lips.. Haha.

His shocked expression is cute.. yet funny, she ends up laughing. But not for long though, because he pulls her closer into an embrace

" Maari.."

Just as she takes her name...

"Anna, are you awake??"

She tries to pull away hearing Adit and Sani's shouts from below. They are coming right here!

"Maari...they are gonna come!"

he grins, "so what...?"

"Let go"

"Nope.You started this ma."

She glares at him, but both of them can't fight back their smiles.

"Maari..."

'Anna are you there?'

Adith and Sani's voices are closer now. Devi doesn't know what to do. she's loving this though... every bit of this...but it's embarrassing...

All of a sudden, he lifts her up in his arms. whoa!

"Maari... what are you doing?"

He just takes her into his room and shuts the door behind them

"Now no one can disturb us."
