The day has been really hectic with long lasting lectures which drained the energy out of me, all I wanted was a scrumptious meal with a nice relaxing bath but that wasn't about to happen seeing as the fact that those two girls refused to let go of me.

"Hey, where are you taking me?"

"Come on, I need to eat and it seems like you need it too" Santa said as she pulled me toward a public restaurant. What I loved about the restaurant was that it wasn't restricted, anyone could go there and do absolutely anything they wanted, it looked fascinating to me mostly because of the fact that I've only ever been introduced to formal, luxurious restaurants with well organized chefs and beautiful dishes. As we approached the table, I noticed that Liam was already seated with an unfamiliar girl seated next to him.

"Don't tell me that's where we're going"

"Of course it is, come on" Mia chirped happily.

Liam's POV

I can't believe she called, after everything she's done. How the heck did she get my phone number. After the relaxing and breath taking experience I had last night, I certainly wasn't expecting a phone call from that thing. She just had to ruin my mood. I have to put all those things behind me because I don't intend to go back there and I never want kat to know about it. I saw her coming towards the table, as she approached, I decided never to reveal it to her, never ever. She sat across from me and averted my gaze, I knew she would still be thinking about what I said last night, if she didn't believe me, I'd just have to show her that I was dead serious.

Kat's POV

Everyone seemed so awkward mostly due to the fact that the unknown girl was seated close to Liam. Mia broke the silence and started talking about fashion which 'surprise surprise' interested the girl. I glanced at Liam and caught him staring at me, I expected him to avert his gaze but he kept on looking which made me feel so uncomfortable. They brought our food but I found it so hard to swallow because of the way he kept on looking. I decided to concentrate more on the food when I heard my phone ringing. It was a message from an unknown number.

"Thinking about last night?"

From the message, I already knew who it was.

"How did you get my number?"

It didn't even take a second before he replied.

"Do you really want to know?"

"Forget it, and no I wasn't thinking about anything"

"I never pegged you for a liar"

"Stop texting me!!"

I waited for a while and when I didn't get any message, sincerely I grew worried a little. I looked up and caught him staring at me with a smirk when I heard my phone ring.

"Waiting for my message?"

"Yeah right!, so who's that next to you?"

"Jealousy looks really good on you"

"I'm not jealous, just curious"

"If i'm not curious then you shouldn't be"

"So you like being close to people you know nothing about?"

"Quite the contrary"

I was about to ask him what he meant by that when...

"So what do you think by that kat?"

I looked at Mia with a confused expression on my face.

"What?"

"Kat, what are you doing?, are you chatting with someone?"

"Mia, i'm really busy right now"

"But we're talking about the latest fashion"

"I'm really not interested" I said while laughing about something Liam sent. Mia tried to look at my messages which of course I didn't allow. I was expecting a message from Liam when I heard the ring, what I read was really unexpected

"You look really pretty"

I felt blush crept up my face, I was about to reply when I felt someone close to me, I turned back and found out that it was Mike. He greeted everyone and faced me

"Kat, can I speak with you, please?"

"Of course"

We went towards a secluded area as I felt I was being watched, I faced back and found Liam looking at us with a serious face. As we reached no particular destination, Mike decided to be the one to initiate the conversation.

"Hi, how have you been?"

"Wow, is that all you can say after screaming at me?"

"I see you're still mad at me. I shouldn't have shouted at you like that, I was just... Just upset"

"Mike, I really just want to put it behind us. I don't want us to fight, I mean we're really good friends and I like that a lot"

He sighed gently like a heavy weight has been lifted off him.

"That's good to hear, so have I been forgiven?"

"Fineeeee"

He surprised me by grabbing me by my waist and pulling me in for a hug. Maybe I was wrong but it felt like he was sniffing my hair which was odd. I pulled away quickly.

"Why don't you come over and join us?"

"Of course, where else would I be?"

We walked over to the gang and joined in the conversation, we talked about different things, about our high school life until Liam's 'friend' decided that she's had enough of the boring conversation, she then left and made everyone feel nothing but relief.

"Finally!"

"Why didn't you say that in front of her Santa?"

"Mia, sincerely I would've"

I could've listened to the both of them argue when I felt someone tap me on my shoulder gently. I turned around and found the Brianna girl standing so close to me which gave me quite a shock.

"Hi"

"Hi?"

"Oh, its me Brianna"

"I know, its nice to see you again"

"Really, you really mean that?, oh i'm so glad"

"O..okay"

"You haven't told me your name"

I stared at her for like a minute, the way she approached me seemed a little bit stalkish but I guess I could tell her my name, no harm there.

"I'm Katherine but my friends call me kat"

"That's a really beautiful name, u hope we get to be fast friends do I can call you kat"

"Um...um fine I guess"

"So, are you going to introduce me to your friends?"

I looked around and found everyone staring at her weirdly

"Well, this is Mike, Liam, Mia and Santa, guys this is Brianna"

Mike waved a bit, so did Liam while the two girls said hi in unison.

"Hi you guys, so nice to meet you all. I hope we can all get along just fine"

Well this was definitely weird. I felt Santa stare and when I looked at her, she gave me the kind of get rid of her stare.

"Its been nice and all but we're kind of in the middle if a conversation"

"Oh, what are you guys talking about?"

She took a seat close to Liam which I honestly didn't find pleasing.

What the heck was wrong with me?!!!

Mia as usual just lightened up the mood.

"Guys, I was thinking, how about we all go to the beach. I mean we're almost through with the semester right, I'd be nice if we all relaxed once in a while"

The whole place grew silent for a while apart from Mia constant giggling. Santa glared at Mia, if looks could kill, i'm very sure Mia would've already been dead. I'm guessing she should've shut her mouth, now what are we going to do about this?.
