You're corky, you're stubborn.

You're weirder than weird.
That I discover as you come
near, I look past your smiles & friendly façade & there
they are. Tears.

You are simply a goddess
in that guy's green eyes. But
our friendship bond is stronger
that the both of your ties.

Your poems show fear, grief
& pain. Like something you
can't get away from. Like
a stain. You keep your facial expressions in check &
your deeper emotions,
you learned to tame.

You're one of my best friends,
I'll always be here for whenever you're in need. You're one of
a kind, my friend. One of a kind, indeed.
