"Hey! Mop Top!" Shadis yelled. Armin saluted. "Sir!' He responded. Shadis faced him head on. "What do they call you maggot?!"

"What is that?" Eren asks curiously. I look over to see a wagon full of drop outs. "Those are drop outs Eren." I say from behind him as I jump on his back. "Waaa? Noel! *Sigh* Why would they drop out?  It's only the first day." He says, grabbing my feet to make sure I don't fall. "That's the way it is. If you can't handle the pressure, you've gotta leave." Eren says. I  just rest my chin on top of Eren's head as he continues to talk to the other cadets. As they're talking, I start to nod off.

Eren's POV

We stand there in silence for a few minutes before someone spoke. "So Eren, is that hot chick sleeping on your back your girlfriend?" Connie asks. I can the air around me tense immediatly. "Well this 'hot chick sleeping on my back' just happens to be my twin sister." I hiss at them,, making sure to keep my voice down. He freezes. "O-oh man! I'm sorry, don't kill me! But you guys look nothing alike!" Connie says nervously. I relax. "Yeah, I've wondered about that too. No one knows where she got her looks from. No one in my family has white hair or golden eyes." I say.

"Hey, you two never mentioned where you guys are from." A guy says. I clap a hand on Armin's shoulder. "Same as Armin, Shingashina." I can feel Noel stir on my back. "Oh wow. That means, you were there that day!" Connie says. As he says that, I can feel the weight of Noel disappear. "Noel?" I ask. She looks at me with sleepy eyes. "I can smell food~" I sweatdrop at her response before nodding and following her into the mess hall. 

Timeskip Noel's POV

'Tune them out.... Tune them out..... AARRRGGGG! I just wanna eat my food in peace!' I think angrily as other cadets Eren and I. Sudden commotion spans me out of my thoughts. "Are you trying to pick a fight?" I hear Eren say. I look up in mild surprise to see a dark look on Eren's face as he glared at Jean. "Stop it guys." Someone whined. That someone was ignored as Jean and Eren stalked towards each other. "All right. Makes no difference to me." Jeans says. They stare at each other for a few minutes before bells broke the silence. 

"Hey. I apologize for calling you names and dismissing your choice of career. Put it here kid, what'd you say?" Jean asks as he holds out his hand. I already know the outcome, so I rise form my seat and walk over to them. Just before I reach them, Eren slaps his hand away. "Right. Yeah i'm sorry as well." He says calmly. He doesn't know i'm behind him so I slap his head. "Oww! Hey, what was that for Noel!" Eren shouts at me with an irk mark. I put my arm around his shoulders and give him a sickly sweet smile. "Eren~ Did you just yell at me?" I ask. Eren pales and quickly shakes his head. "Good. Now, what am I going to say about your nasty manners?" I ask once more. Eren freezes and turns his body to face Jean. He bows. "I truly apologize for my rude actions. It will not happen again. I hope we become acquaintances." I pat his head. "That's better. Keep in mind what happened last time you disobeyed me." I say before skipping to Mikasa's side, not noticing Eren's traumatized face.

Mikasa and I started to follow Eren who had just walked out, when a voice stopped us. "Um. Excuse me!" We paused and turned around to find Jean looking at us with a blush on his face. 'Must be Mikasa.' I thought. "I-I just wanted. I mean I've never seen anyone like you two before. I Mean-uh. I-I'm sorry. You guys have really beautiful back and white hair." I look at him with a shocked expression. 'My hair isn't that pretty. I like Mikasa's hair better.' I think, but regardless II thank him. "Thank you." We both say. Before walking out.

We run to Eren as he begins to talk to us. "Would you two lay off. It's no big deal." He says. "It's just that you get so worked up that you don't think things through." Mikasa responds. "She's right." I chime in. Eren scowls at us. "Again with this? If you guys want to worry about something, worry about how long your hair is. It's gonna catch up with you in bad way when we start on the OPM's." Eren says as he stares at our hair. "Okay. I'll cut it." Mikasa says easily. I know that Jean is listening so I make a last second decision. I grip my waist length snow white locks and hold them close to me. "No way in hell am I cutting my pride and joy." I say bluntly. They look at me strangely. But then they just shake it off. 'I hope Jean doesn't 'lose his faith in humanity' ' I think before following Mikasa to the girl's cabin.

Jean's POV

I was listening to their conversation. When Mikasa said that she would cut her beautiful black hair just because that jerk said so, I felt numb. 'Please don't cut your hair too, Noel.' I pleaded in my head. I know it's just hair, but it just feels like other peoples opinion do not matter when it comes down to it. It's stupid, I know. "No way in hell am I cutting my pride and joy." I hear a bell like voice says bluntly. 'Noel!' I think. I think I just fell deeper in love with her. She doesn't bow to her brothers every command. Instead, she has her own opinion on things. 'My ideal girl.'

TImeskip Noel's POV

"It's aptitude test time so listen up! There is no place for you here if you cannot preform! Fail, and you are sent to the fields!" Shadis yells at us. I watch as Mikasa is geared up and then pulled up on the contraption. I already know that she'll ace it, so I don't pay attention to her. Rather, I pay attention to her body movements. "Noel Jaeger!" My name is called as Mikasa is put down. I quickly take her place and wait as the people hook the wires on my belt. When i'm pulled up, I immediatly adjust to being in the air. I hear sounds of awe as I just hang there effortlessly. I got bored quickly, so I tried to do a front flip. Moving my legs into motion, I do a small, but neat flip. The trainers are looking at me with surprise before they note something on a clipboard. "Let her down." And i'm quickly lets down.

Once i'm free, I wonder over to where Eren is being hooked up. I watch as he is raised into the air. But then, he falls over. "W-what?!" Eren questions as he hangs upside down. I sigh and start to jog to where Shadis is crouched in front of Eren. "Sir! If I may, can I do something real quick?" I ask as I salute. He examines me before nodding. I flip Eren right side up before telling the people to let him down. I unhook the wires before examining his gear. I do this so I can have a reason behind my actions. I give a quick nod before standing up. "Eren take off your gear." I say. "W-What?" I'm impatient so I say, "Remember what I said about disobeying me?" He pales and starts to take off his gear. I can hear the crowd around us whispering, but I pay them no mind as I take off my gear. "Here. Put this on." I say as I take his gear from him. 

He quickly puts my gear on. Once it's on correctly, I hook him back up. "Please raise him up." I order. Seconds later, Eren is hanging in the air. People are looking at me in awe. "Cadet." Shadis says and I salute. "Sir! I have known Eren all my life. I know what he is and is not good at. Balance is something that comes fairly easy to him. So I concluded that it was not Eren at fault, but the gear it's self, sir!" I offer the gear to Shadis as he nods. He quickly looks over the gear before spotting the error. "Name, Cadet." He orders without looking up. "Noel Jaeger, sir!" He finally looks up at me. "..... Good job Cadet." Shadis says before walking away.

Timeskip!

"Noel!!!" I look behind me, just before i'm tackled in a bear hug. "Thank you Noel!!" It was Eren and i'm pretty sure he was close to tears. I laugh as I pat his head. "Of course. What are twins for?"
