Part 9

Next morning:

Khushi wokeup from her sleep. She looked surroundings and was confused but later she reminded what happened. She looked for Arnav but he was not there.. She heard sound from washroom. She got down from bed and stood at window thinking about Arnav's words.

She came out of her trance when she heard a click sound from the washroom. She looked at that side. Arnav came out of the washroom. He looked at her and smiled.

"Good morning" said Arnav. Khushi smiled to him faintly.

"Go and freshup."said Arnav. She nodded her head and went in.

When she came out, coffee already was there.. Arnav gave her coffee cup. She took it.

"We will leave after having breakfast' said Arnav. Khushi simply nodded her head.

Neither of them din't talk. Even though Arnav initiated for a talk Khushi end them in monosyllabic answers.

Arnav's phone rang. He looked it. it was from unknown number.

Arnav lifted it.

"Hello. Can I talk with Khushi ??"asked the voice.

"Who are you ??"asked Arnav.

"Beta. I am her father. Yesterday night she called from this number"said shashi hesitating.

"Yes uncle she is here"said Arnav and handover phone to her saying "Khushi. Your father"

Khushi took it, went aside and talked with her father. Here Arnav is confused to ask about her opinion or not. But he is feeling very light and happy after proposing her.

His trance is disturbed by Khushi calling him "Arnavji!!"

He looked at her. She hand overed his phone to him.

"Shall we move down" said Arnav. Khushi nodded her head.

After having breakfast, they both moved to delhi. The journey was a silent one. No one talked. Arnav concentrated on driving while Khushi looking outside deeply lost in her thoughts.

The car halted with a sudden brake bringing Khushi back from her thoughts. She looked at Arnav.

"Your house is here only naa"said Arnav.

Then she looked at surroundings. It was the place where Arnav stopped earlier while dropping her and Payal.

She nodded her head and got down.

She said" Thank you" to which Arnav gave a warm smile.

He waited for her to say something but she turned to go. Arnav felt disappointed. He looked at her retreating figure.

But soon Khushi turned back and came towards him. He felt a ray of hope in him and looked at her with anxiety.

Khushi came near him and asked" Arnavji. Woo. When should I come to office ?? it is already 10'o clock "

Arnav was now very disappointed.

"Whenever you wish you can come'said Arnav with a disappoint tone.

"huh" Khushi looked at him confusingly.

"I mean if you want you can come afternoon or tomorrow"said Arnav.

Khushi nodded her head and once again said thank u left from there.

Arnav sighed with extreme disappointment. He left to home.

He entered into the house. Nani is sitting in the hall with her lakshmi.

"Chote. you came"

"ha Nani. Akash left for office" asked Arnav.

"yes he left. You go and fresh up. I will bring juice for you"said Nani.

Arnav went upstairs. When he came out after freshening, Nani already is there.

She gave him juice. Arnav sat down sipping it.. Nani too sat beside him stroking his hair.

"Nani. Do you want to talk with me ??"asked Arnav. He knew Nani will do this when she wanted to talk with him especially about marriage.

"ha chote........... Did you propose Khushi bitiya ??'asked Nani.

Arnav spitted juice and looked at her with shock.

"Who said you ??"asked Arnav.."of course Akash naa"

Nani nodded her head.

"Answer my question chote."asked Nani.

"ha Nani."said Arnav.

"What did she say ??"asked Nani excitedly.

"She din't say anything . I gave her sometime'said Arnav with a sad voice.

Sensing sadness in his voice, Nani said" It's ok chote. she needs sometime."

"Nani. Will Khushi accept me ??'asked Arnav.

"Definitely. Who will have guts to reject my chote ??"said Nani cupping his face.

Arnav smiled and said" I will leave for office"

Nani nodded her head. Arnav left from there.

It is already one week Arnav proposed Khushi but still there is no response from her. she always behaves as an employee with him. even if Arnav tries to come near her to talk when they are alone in his cabin, she ran away from there making lame excuses. She will take care that anyone would be around them. She din't call him as Arnavji until now. She will mention him as sir.

Even if Arnav calls her, if it is office work she will talk otherwise she simply keeps phone in mute. Arnav is hurted by Khushi's behaviour. He came to a conclusion that she won't love him and started to be away from her.

One day Khushi entered Arnav's cabin. he was shocked to see infront of her. Arnav was on the floor unconscious. She rushed to him and took his head on her lap. She started to pat his cheek.

"Hey devimayya. Seems like his sugar levels became down"muttered Khushi and called Akash from Arnav's phone.

"Hey devimayya. Plz nothing let happen to my Arnavji. "said Khushi crying.

Soon Akash and Aman entered the cabin. they fed him sweet.

Slowly Arnav regained consciousness. He opened his eyes and looked into Khushi's eyes. He could see love, Care and concern for him in her eyes.

"Arnavji!! Are you ok ??"asked Khushi who is in her lap.

"Bhai!!"called Akash bringing him out of his trance.

Arnav looked at him and got up.

"Bhai. Are you ok ??"asked Akash. Arnav nodded his head.

"Bhai. You go home and take rest"said Akash.

"No Akash I have work "said Arnav.

"ASR plz listen to us. You go home and take rest"said Aman.

"No. it's ok "said Arnav " I will wash my face", left to washroom.

Akash and aman looked at each other helplessly.

Khushi is also there. In the cabin...

"Akash. he needs rest "said Aman.

"I know Aman but he won't listen. Yesterday night too he fell down. Doctor advised him to take complete rest today but he din't listen. Don't know what happened these days he is looking very disturbed. He misses his food and meds. See how pale he became. Nani is very worried for him"said Akash with a sad face.

Khushi heard it. She felt very bad. She knew she is the reason for his sadness.

Arnav came in and sat down to work.

"Bhai...."muttered Akash.

"Leave Akash "commanded Arnav looking into his laptop.

But in the next second someone shut his laptop.

"What the..."said Arnav and looked at the person.

There stood Khushi with angry face.

"Arnavji. Your health is not good. You need rest. Go home" almost ordered Khushi.

"No. I am fine"said Arnav.

"We can see how fine you are ?? now plz go and take rest. You have to take care of your health. What if something happens to you ??"said Khushi with tears in her eyes.

"let it be."said Arnav.

"How can you say that ??"asked Khushi with pain.

" what difference it makes you ??"asked Arnav

Khushi din't say anything.

"Say naa Khushi. What difference it makes you even if I d..??"Arnav is going to say something but Khushi closed his mouth with her hand.

"Plz don't talk like that ""said Khushi with tears in her eyes

"Why ?? "asked Arnav raising his eyebrow.

"Don't ask me anything. You go home and take rest."said Khushi and went out of the cabin wiping her tears.

Arnav looked at her disappearing figure with a smile.

Akash and Aman showed at him as thumsup.

"see bhai. My plan worked. I said naa. Khushiji loves you"said Akash

"But she din't accepted it"said Arnav.

"She will bhai. Don't worry. Everything will be ok" Akash.

Akash and aman went out of the cabin.

Arnav sat down smiling thinking " I am very happy. Khushi loves me"
