Juwon only works overtime by two hours today, so they get to eat dinner at a relatively normal time. Yeonjun probably shouldn't even bring up Soobin, should probably just forget about it and hope Soobin does the same.

But Yeonjun's normally so good at doing what he should do. What's one thing?

"Alpha, I have to ask you something." Yeonjun says.

"Okay."

"So, I have a friend, Soobin. He's in college, and he doesn't really have a great place to study. His house is noisy, and he lives far from campus. He could go to a study cafe, but I thought... I thought maybe he could come here to study, while you're at work."

Juwon shrugs. "Sure, that's no problem."

"It's just..." Yeonjun can't hide this — Juwon will be able to smell it. "He's an alpha."

Juwon takes his time to chew his food, his jaw clenching and unclenching around the bulgogi Yeonjun cooked.

Please, Yeonjun thinks. He needs Juwon's permission, he needs to know that he's done his due diligence. He needs to know he's not screwing up. Please, let me have this, so I can keep being good. Don't make me break the rules.

Finally, Juwon nods. "I trust you."

Yeonjun smiles. So he doesn't have to be bad to be happy.
