You and Shu practiced at the park every day. At first,he had tried to get rid of you, but  then, he gave up and just let you practice with him.

"Three, two, one, let it rip!" Your bey burst. "Aw, come on!"

"Your launch was too far down, allowing for a  counter-strike to hit it straight-on." Shu readjusted his stance. "Again."

You knelt on the ground and held the launcher in front of you. "Three, two, one..." You jumped up as high as you can. "Let it  rip!"

You watch your bey circle with extra power and grin. Shu's attack comes in, and-

And you fall hard on the ground, scraping your leg and really hurting your right foot.  "Really? The one time I pull off a good launch, I-ouch!" Shu stood over her, with both the beys in his had. Spryzen was in three pieces.

"Here," he said, giving her the un-bursted bey. "I'll bring you to my apartment. I've got medical supplies there." Shu hesitate. "Can you stand?"

As soon as you put weight on yur foot, it gives out and you crash to the ground."Apparently not."

Shu shrugged. "Well, I've got a different idea."He easily picked you up in his arms and started walking. "There, much easier, right?"

You can't respond because your face is turning so red, and also because the Shu fangirls are glaring daggers at you.

When they arrive at the apartment, Shu lets her down, but keeps hold of her hand. "Its in the kitchen. The sofa's right there, and the remote's on the table."

You nod and blush. "Thank you, Shu." Hopping over to the sofa, you turn on the TV and a romantic movie comes on.

-MEanwhile-

Shu searches through the cabinets, a red tinge on his face. How is he going to tell you? He was going to bring you here today after school and confess, but now this. How?

He found the supplies and came back to the room. y/n blushes as she watched the couple on TV kiss. He smiled just a bit, imagining him and her there instead. Then he walked over. "Here."

She smiled. "Thanks." He carefully wrapped the bandages around her ankle, carefully.

"Hey, y/n?" She was watching the movie again with a dreamy look on her face.

"Yeah?" Just kiss her, dummy.

He kissed her. "I love you."

She blushed and kissed him back.
