Monica's POV
~age 17~

I was now 17, and Kurisutaru was 18. It was our last day at signal academy, and everyone in our year was sobbing and sniffling. Well....all except kira, of course. Kira had left for most of the years in signal academy, and now he has come back to graduate.

I mean- what!? Unless he took private lessons after school- then that would make sense.

I sighed and walked up to kira, I asked him why he had left, but he just scowled and ignored me.

Kira then glanced at me. "Even though I can't tell you why I left for most of the time at signal academy....I can tell you that I am leaving to go to beacon academy...."

I tilted my head in confusion. "Beacon academy??"

Kira nodded. "Yeah, it's one of the best academies in the world. So, let's see if you have what it takes to follow me on to the big leads."

I stared at kira, then smiled. "Okay then, I'll meet ya there!!"

Kira's POV

Monica stared at me, then she smiled. "Okay then, I'll meet ya there!!"

I smirked at her. She thinks it's that easy to get into one of the top schools such as beacon, well let's see if she can actually be accepted into beacon academy.

I'm surprised that I didn't lie about what school I was going to attend. Even though I'm the "ruler of lies", I guess I don't lie about everything.

"I'll be waiting for you in beacon Academy. Well....that's even if you get accepted into beacon anyway....see you later Moni-fox." I smirked and glanced at Monica, before walking away.

Monica's POV

I pouted at kira's nickname for me. "Don't call me that...." I mumbled. I watched kira walk out of the classroom, and down the hallway.

I then turned around- only to bump into someone. "Sorry...." I Muttered, looking down at the floor.

"What's wrong Monica?" I looked up to see Kurisutaru.

"Nothing, I just....don't wanna leave this school...." I lied while looking away.

Kurisutaru smiled and hugged me. "Don't worry, I'll be with you-"

"And me!!" Kurisutaru was cut off by Hebi shouting in his ear.

Kurisutaru's left eye began to twitch. "Yes. Me and the snake will accompany you." Kurisutaru stated, venom lacing off the word 'snake'.

I smiled. "At least I have you guys to keep me happy...."

We were starting our new school in 2 days, and we had to buy some useful things for when we started school. The school we were going to attend was, beacon academy. I can't wait to see kira- I just wanna see his expression when he finds out that I got accepted into beacon academy.

Right now, Kurisutaru and I were in daddy's car driving to the store- to buy some things needed for school.

I saw an ice cream shop and my eyes sparkled. "Kurisutaru, can we go and get some ice cream?"

Kurisutaru turned to face me. "No Monica, we need to go and buy some things for when we attend beacon academy."

"B-b-but...." I pouted then stared out of the window.

I heard a sigh come from Kurisutaru, then I puffed out my cheeks. "Hey Kurisutaru, can you face the other way for second?"

Kurisutaru furrowed his brow. "Why??"

"Because of this." I smirked, as I quickly took off my seat belt and opened the car door, while the car was still moving.

Kurisutaru's eyes widened. "Monica close the car door right now!!"

I tilted my head slowly. "No." That was the last thing I said to him, before I jumped out of the car and rolled onto the road.

I quickly ran away somewhere, so Kurisutaru couldn't find me. I ran and hid in an alley way. I quickly slowed my breathing down, as I heard tapping footsteps coming in my direction.

Kurisutaru appeared panting heavily. "Oh man....sir nightmare is going to kill me." Kurisutaru panted more, as he ran past me and down the road.

I sighed. "Thank goodness he didn't find me...."

"excuse me miss....are you alright??" Someone questioned, as they tapped me on my shoulder.

I jumped and shrieked in fright. I turned around and came face to face with a girl. She had short, cerulean-frost coloured hair. She wore a black leather jacket which was tied around her waist, she had on a 'team mystic' shirt and blue jeans. She wore red doc martins, and her right eye was blue- with a scar, while her left eye was a crimson colour. She has a light grey stripe in her hair, and she has a beowolf tail with a white stripe in it, and matching beowolf ears. (DuskSpyro )

"Oh-uh- yeah....I'm fine...." I nervously chuckled.

The female tilted her head. "Oh, well....okay...." She said, as she continued to read her book.

I scratched my head awkwardly. "So....what's your....name?" I questioned the girl. I really shouldn't be asking strangers what their name is- but she seems friendly....

The female looked up from her book and stared  up at me. "My name....is....Dusk Spyro...."

My face brightened. "Hello Dusk, my name is Monica Fox. It's a pleasure to meet you!" I curtsied, while my ears began to twitch.

"I see you're a Faunus as well."  Dusk smiled, as she noticed my Fox ears, and she began to wag her tail.

I smiled back at her. "Yeah, I guess I am...." My ears twitched again and I was about to run, when a hand was placed into my shoulder.

Dusk had a confused look on her face, as I started to hear growling coming from behind me.

"Monica....where have you been?" I turned around and saw Kurisutaru growling at me.

My ears drooped and I looked away. "I was just talking to this lovely Faunus-"

I was cut off by Kurisutaru dragging me away. "Come on lady Monica, we need to get going now." I sighed and let him drag me away from dusk.

Dusk's POV

The female named Monica, was dragged off by a wolf Faunus....??

I shrugged, and began to read my book again. But as I was reading my book, my ears started to hurt.

I closed my book and covered my ears. "Weiss...." I groaned. I quickly sprinted towards the whistle's high pitched noise. As I came closer to the high pitched noise, I could spot Weiss with an unimpressed face.

"What took you so long!?" Weiss snapped at me, as I approached her.

"Sorry Weiss, I was caught up in....my book...." I lied as I looked away from her, trying to avoid eye contact.

Weiss growled. "Well don't be late!! Or maybe I should throw your book away, so you will not have any excuses next time."

My ears perked up. "No, please don't. I won't be late next time, I promise." I put my hands in a begging gesture and bowed my head.

Weiss smirked. "Good...."
