Monica's POV

"Ready?" Kurisutaru questioned me, pointing his katana towards the beowolf, which was right in front of us.

I nodded. "Yeah, I'm ready...." Kurisutaru smirked, and charged towards the beowolves, killing them with one slice of his katana.

"Lightning." I said, as my scythe-blade colour changed from white to purple. I jumped up high- into the air, doing a back flip in the process.

"Rakurai!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs- hearing an echo from the word 'Rakurai', as I pointed my scythe towards the ground. A millisecond later, lightning was summoned from the sky, and it rained down onto the beowolves, turning them into dust.

I landed on the ground and looked over at Kurisutaru, only to see him look at me in amazement- but then his expression turned into a smile. "You never cease to amaze me, Monica...." Kurisutaru said, walking up to me & patting my head- gently.

He smiled at me. "Let's go and complete our mission-" Kurisutaru was cut off, by another growl.

We turned to face another pack of beowolves glaring at us, while they slowly emerged from the bushes.

Kurisutaru sighed. "Well, here we go again...."

one of the beowolves were charging towards us, until it slowed down and came to a stop.

After 5 seconds of the beowolf stopping in its' tracks, the top half of its body slowly fell off of its' lower part. Me and Kurisutaru looked at eachother confused, only to hear a chuckle come from behind the dead beowolf.

I turned my attention to the direction of the chuckling, and saw a male wearing a rib jacket. He wore mechanical gloves, and goggles upon his head. His t-shirt was tucked inside his rib jacket, and he wore camo trousers with matching boots.

The male smiled at us. "I guess I came at the right time, heh?"

I smiled at the male. "Thank you....uh...."

The male chuckled. "My name is, Vlad."

"Oh. Well thank you, Vlad- you're name has a....nice meaning to it." I smiled at Vlad.

"Nice meaning to it??" Vlad repeated, confused.

I nodded. "Yep! Your name has part of another person's name in it, and that persons' name is,Vladimir. Vladimir is a male Slavic given name of Church Slavonic and Old Slavic origin, now widespread throughout all Slavic nations!"

"Wow, I feel as though I have just gotten a lecture." Vlad laughed.

I smiled and giggled. "Oops, sorry."

"No it's okay, I don't mind-" Vlad was cut off by more growling, coming from within the bushes.

We all turned to face more beowolves appearing, from the bushes. Kurisutaru, Vlad & I got into a fighting stance.

"Let's do this!!" Vlad's facial expression changed to a serious expression, and we all began to fight the Grimm.

"Time." I said, making my scythe-blade colour change from purple to grey.

"Jikan no surasshu!!" I yelled, before I swung my scythe, resulting in everyone, and everything stopping. I killed some of the Grimm who were going to attack Kurisutaru & Vlad from behind.

I then swung my scythe once more, before time was un-paused, and everything started moving again.

Kurisutaru sliced the Grimm in half, but he moved too fast for me to see him fighting. I looked over at Vlad, who had put his goggles over his eye, and his gloves transformed into a flamethrower. I stared at him in awe, as he started to burn all off the Grimm with ease.

I was about to slice the last Grimm in-half, when someone beat me to it. A female who had long, straight-brown hair, she wore a gold Chinese dress, and netted stockings to match her dress.

The female landed in front of me, and chuckled. "I guess I killed the last Grimm before you!~" the female stated, standing up and turning to face me- staring at me with her yellow snake-like eyes, with her tongue hanging out of her mouth just like a snake.

"Hi! My name is sepai!" The female named 'sepai' held out her hand for me to shake it.

"My name is Monica fox! Your name has a nice meaning!" I said, my eyes sparkling.

"I know, my name 'Sepai', is one of the most famous kata in karate. Similarly to Sanseru, Sepai's translation is a numerical reference, meaning '18 hands', and just like Sanseru the debate continues over what the numbers refer to!" Sepai beamed.

Vlad put his hand on my shoulder and smiled. "How does it feel to be lectured by someone else, for once?"

I merely chuckled in return. "Oh, whatever...."

Sepai then chuckled, holding up her scissors and smiling at me.

I smiled back at her. "Now, let's go before-"

"Too late!!" Sepai cut me off, as she fly-kicked a beowolf in the face.

I sighed. Why do these Grimm keep appearing out of nowhere, and attacking us....?

We fought again, but as we fought, other people joined in the fight and fought along side me, Kurisutaru, Vlad and sepai.

As we were fighting, I saw kira smirking while slowly emerging from behind the tallness of the trees.

"Kira!!" Most of the people who were fighting, cheered his name.

My eyes sparkled. I stopped fighting and ran over to kira. "Mind if I join in?" Kira smirked.

"Go ahead!" I smiled, as all of us began to fight again.

When we all had defeated all of the Grimm, we started to run to the northern end of the forest. Well....that was until someone leaped out of a tree and landed on my back.

I face-planted so hard into the ground, that I thought my life was flashing before my eyes. I turned to see who had landed on me, only to find that it was dusk!

"Dusk!" I cheered, hugging her.

"It's nice to see you too...." Dusk said, being squeezed by me.

I then looked around. "I'm surprised to see that  you're not with Weiss...."

"He-heh, yeah....me too...." Dusk nervously chuckled.

I giggled and helped dusk off of the ground. "So, did you find anyone to partner up with??" I asked, smiling.

"Yeah, but I'm just glad it wasn't Weiss." Dusk sighed in relief.

"Really, who??" I said, urging dusk to continue.

" a guy named Hebi." Dusk smiled. And as if on cue, Hebi jumped out of a tree and landed right next to dusk.

"Hello~" Hebi cooed.

"Hebi!!" I yelled hugging him, as Kurisutaru growled.

"I'd hate to ruin your little reunion, but we got somewhere to be!" Kira smirked, running off.

"Oh, right..." I stopped hugging Hebi, and we all continued to run towards the northern end of the forest....
