The Ender Prince
Our world is... different than any that you ever heard of. Instead of having one gigantic world to live in, ours is divided into three separate, smaller but still connected dimensions. There is the Overworld, which is much like the world you know and love. Green landscapes of wide plains or dense forest, hot deserts and cold snow landscapes. The second dimension is the Nether, a hot and dangerous place, filled to the brim with lava, fire and dangerous creatures like Blazes or Ghasts. But there are also gigantic colonies of Piglins, highly intelligent humanoid pig creatures that lived in these firery depths. The last dimensions is called 'The End' . Its a scary place, with huge chunks of landscape missing and completely surrounded by a deadly, never ending void. The existing flying islands are inhabited by the Endermen, a proud and strong race that are rumored to be descendants of humans that went into that dimension centuries ago. Endermen are tall, with black skin and glowing purple eyes. They also have the ability to teleport at will, which comes in handy when you live in a landscape like this.
There used to be a time where all three of these dimensions lived together in peace, sharing and trading resources without any kind of conflict between them. We never had to worry about food or shortage of resources. Life was good back then... but then came the war. It started between the humans of the Overworld and the Piglins from the Nether. From what I heard and read about... it was a bloodbath. Thousands of people from both sides lost their life in that war before the humans turned to the Endermen for help. Maybe that was where we went wrong... we actually helped them. With combined forces the Nether was quickly defeated and all portals destroyed.
If only we saw the true nature of the alliance the humans made with us.
Not even a week after the Nether was defeated, they launched an ambush on our main end city and killed our king. They wiped out a majority of our people and forced the rest of us to retreat deeper into the void... to small islands far away from the main portal. But if that wasn't bad enough already... they closed the portal once they were done with us. The only way to leave our world... and it was gone. We were trapped with no way of escaping the dead and cold landscape of our dimension. Sure, we know how to survive here, but if you have lived in the luxury of just being able to leave and visit the other dimensions, see and take resources that we could never have in our own world... it's difficult. For years they tried to re-open the portal, but no one knew how. They looked for a second portal that may exist somewhere in the far distance, but found nothing.
After some time our people, our culture slowly grew back to what it used to be... even with the now limited resources we had. The multiple small islands were connected through bridges and slowly we dared to expand towards the portal again, scared of what we might find there. Who knows if the humans were truly gone or didn't set out some kind of trap. Slowly we regained all the land that we lost. It gave us hope... but it didn't last long. We crowned a new king, the younger sibling of our former one, who miraculously survived the massacre of his older brother and family. But he was different. He was full of hatred and grief over his loss. Who wouldn't be after losing their family. But he blamed our people for it, as we didn't react fast enough to the human ambush. He became a dictator that was feared by everyone. No one dared to make him mad. And the ones that did... well... they never saw their loved ones again.
Sadly the attitude of this king was inherited by his son... and his son... and the following seven kings as well, leaving a terrified and desperate kingdom under the rule of tyranny. It was a dark time for our species...
But if all the kings used to have the same attitude... then why am I so different?
"Ranboo! Where are you?!" The young Enderman looked up from his book when he heard his name being called. Great... what did he do now? "Ranboo!" "I'm coming!" He put his book away carefully and climbed out of his hiding spot in the corner of the small library. One of the only places where he could spend some time in peace and quiet. "There you are. Your father is waiting." "I thought I have another hour before the meeting?" "Not anymore. Now move." The much taller Enderman looked down at him as he walked past and to the throne room.
Ranboo isn't really a popular person, even though he is the prince and future king, as he has no older siblings. Most Enderman don't even want to look at the young prince. The reason for that? He's not fully Enderman. Parts of his skin are white, including almost half his face. He has two different colored eyes, two pointy horns and a tail with a black and white fluff at the end. No one knows the second species that could be the reason for his abnormal appearance, but no one dared to ask the king about it. His father looks down on him already, saying that his mother must have had an affair with an outsider and honestly, with a husband like that it's not a suprise. Yet he's the only heir the king has. Ranboo himself never understood why his father never had more children. Why keep the disappointment and not just have another child, so they can become king instead?
"You're late. Again." The angry stare of his father made him squirm in discomfort. Why does he always have to put him on the spot like this? Especially when he did nothing wrong! "I'm not late... you said you wanted to see me at 4 in the evening, not-" A loud, angry screech cut him off before he could defend himself. "How dare you talk back to me!" The hybrid flinched and hung his head low, not wanting to anger his father more than he already has. It never ended well for him. "Sorry... your majesty." "You better be. I won't let a deformed hybrid tell me what to do." Yeah... you can really feel the parental love coming from this guy. What a suprise that he doesn't have more children. "Now. I want you to go with the resource gathering group to the northern islands. That way you'll be more useful than sitting around here with your stupid little books." Great... another gathering task... just like every day for the past few months. "Yes father..."
Just when Ranboo was about to leave, the doors to the throne room burst open to reveal two very distressed Enderman guards. "My king! A few guards found Overworld intruders near the main portal island!" "WHAT?!" Ouch... who knew Enderman screeches could be this loud? "WHERE ARE THEY?! HOW MANY WERE THERE?!" "It's two... one human... or human hybrid... we're not sure. And a young Piglin." Now that caught Ranboo's attention. Someone from both the Nether and the Overworld came into the End dimension. Together. After everything that happened between those two dimensions. "I WANT THOSE TWO CAPTURED AND BROUGHT TO ME IMMEDIATELY!" Even the guards flinched at the volume. "We already took custody over the intruders and-" "THEN BRING THEM TO ME!" The two guards immediately disappeared again, leaving a furious king that was about ready to rip someone's head off.
"Why would a human and a Piglin team up? It doesn't make any sense..." "Doesn't matter. They will be killed on the spot as soon as they are in front of me." Ranboo looked over at the king, obviously confused. "But father. Shouldn't we try to listen to why-" "Silence! I don't want to hear anything from you!" Ranboo flinched away from his father once again, staying silent in the corner. Why is he like this... what did he do to deserve being treated like this? He just wanted to find out what made the two intruders team up in the first place. Especially since apparently it's a young Piglin, not an adult one. Those are usually more aggressive.
Soon the doors to the throne room opened once again. This time the two Endermen were dragging someone into the room. They were protesting and kicking, but Ranboo couldn't understand a word they were saying. No one ever cared about learning the languages of the other dimensions. Who would if you can't even leave your own world? There's no use in knowing other languages. The person was thrown on the ground in front of his father. He felt bad when the human made an obvious sound of pain. It was only then that Ranboo noticed the much smaller being that the human was holding in their arms. Is... is that a child? "So these are our two intruders?" "Yes my king." The king got up from his throne and approached the human on the ground, who was shaking and pressing the Piglin child against their chest. "Let's get rid of them."
Ranboo's body moved before he even realized what he was doing. He got in between the human and his father, stretching out his arms to keep him away from them. "Father please... We should think about this." "Out of my way." "But it's a kid! You can't kill a child! That's wrong!" "Ranboo! Out of my way! That's an order!" He had no idea where that sudden boost of courage came from, but it made him stood a little taller and glare back at the rage-filled eyes of his father. "No! This isn't right! I won't let you do this!" His father growled and raised his sword. "If you don't go out of the way I will kill you together with these intruders. You are betraying our entire race right now." But even with that threat, the young prince didn't move. He stood in front of his father, not backing down. This is the first time in his life that Ranboo is standing up to his father, to the person that has been harassing and abusing him the most out of everyone. "You're a monster!"
The larger Enderman screeched in anger, raising his sword again, shaking with fury. And again, Ranboo's body seemed to have a mind of his own and acted before his brain could realize what's going on. Before his father could strike, he jumped forward and aimed for his face in a blind attempt to defend himself and the two prisoners on the ground. A loud, pained screech rang through the large room as the king stumbled backwards, holding a hand over the bleeding half of his face. Everything went dead silent after that. Ranboo remained in front of the human, his left hand covered in purple blood. His father just pressed his hand over the bleeding wounds, which includes his right eye.
The first one to move was a guard, rushing over to the king to check if he was alright. Said king sat on the stairs to the throne, holding his bleeding face and groaning in pain. More guards started to crowd around him, while others just watched the interaction, still frozen with shock.
Ranboo used this moment of confusion to turn around and look at the human. They looked just as shocked and scared as the guards, still pressing the Piglin against their chest. Humans probably never bothered to learn Ender as much as Endermen never cared to learn the human language, so he didn't even try to talk to them. Instead, he carefully grabbed the human by their arms and pulled them back on their feet. The human yelped and backed away, making Ranboo raise his hands to try and show he meant no harm. They seemed to understand the gesture and allowed Ranboo to take their arm again, which he used to quickly pull them along through a currently unwatched corridor. Most guards were either busy with his father or not looking, so it gave him enough time to sneak the human and Piglin away.
It took a while until they managed to reach Ranboo's hidden room, as they had to avoid any guard that could immediately notify his father about where he is. He sighed with relief once he closed and barricaded the door. The room was small and he had to constantly keep his head down or crouch, but at least it meant that none of the guards can just teleport into his room. No one ever teleports into a room that is too small for them.
Ranboo mentioned for the human to sit down on a pile of gathered blankets, which the human immediately did. From what he had seen so far, he thinks that the human is a male, but he can't be sure... The human started to speak, but again, Ranboo couldn't understand a single word he said. It all just came out as weird noises. The human realized that he can't understand him and stopped talking, not knowing what else to do. Ranboo was just as clueless and just sat across the human, staring at him and the Piglin. It really was a Piglin child, but something seemed off about it. Parts of their skin were gone and revealed the bones beneath... but the child seemed to be perfectly fine. Do all Piglins look like that?
The human started talking again, but it sounded like he just kept saying the same short term over and over again. Ranboo's ears perked up a little as he focused on the word, trying his best to figure out what it meant. With every time he repeated the word, he pointed at himself. Is he... trying to tell him his name? After a few more tries the human stopped, probably getting tired of saying his name, but Ranboo mentioned for him to keep going, still trying to figure out how to say it. So the human kept going for a few more minutes, until Ranboo was ready to give it a try.
While the human was still talking, he opened his mouth to try and repeat after him. For the human, it came out as weird Enderman noises, but it made him smile anyways.
"T̸͚͖̟̱͍̳͋̉̀̂̑́̽͒͂̊̉̌͐̌̈̈́̒̌̍͆̍̆̿̋̑̋̿̑̊͌̓͑̕͝͝u̶̧͙̹̘̣̬̙͙̮̮͍̱̠̒̏̀̿͐͑͐͌̌́̉͗͑͒̃͐̊͠ḇ̵̧̛̬͚͉̮̲̼̮̪̳̜̥̗͉̖͉͕̻̖̃̓̉̿́̀͑̾͐͋̑̆͂͒̔̉̾͊͂́̓̽̇́̚̕͜͜͠͝ͅb̷̡̨̭̜̻̜̰͕͎̮̯̭̠̝̩̮̮͎̫͉̗͍̠̜͍̟̈́͆͜͝ͅǭ̶͔͍̣͚͈̺̝̦̈́̆̍͆̔͊̈́̇̓̆̿̌̋̽͊̈́́͛̈́̒̚͠͝͠͝?"
The human perked up when he finally managed to actually hear his name and nodded. This in return made Ranboo smile as he kept trying to fully pronounce his name, but having a still slight screech in his speech were the best they were gonna get. In return, Tubbo now pointed at him to ask for his name. Naturally, Ranboo immediately responded in Enderman, confusing his new human friend.
"⍀⏃⋏⏚⍜⍜."
Tubbo shook his head, showing that he didn't understand him. Ranboo repeated it again, but there was no way he would be able to copy the Enderman screech. So he tried to form it in the same way Tubbo told him his name. Maybe speaking human is easier than speaking Ender...
Ṙ̴͓͔̙̠̈́̈́͐͋̒̿̄͋̋͒̅͝͝ą̴̛͇͖̦̹͓̯̳͚͖͉͓̲̥͇̣̭͉́̃̉̍̏̑̀̊̀̈́̄̏͛̎́͜ͅn̷̤̾̈́̕b̵̧̧̛̛̪͙̭͔͓͗̆͋̇̐̃́̇͛̒̇͗̚̚o̵̗̲̪̲̙̖̟̖̗̦͂̇̀̃͐͒̽̾̎̕̚͝o̵̧̪̖̠̥̣̬͚͑̚
Tubbo smiled a bit and leaned a little closer, motioning for Ranboo to say it again, which he did. "Ranboo." Huh, it sounded oddly... normal, even in the human language. But... what now? They exchanged names, but there is no way they can do an entire conversation like this. Instead, Ranboo grabbed a stone plate and some chalk to draw on. It would be easier to just draw it... at least that's what he thought.
So, he started to draw. It were just scribbles of stick figures, but he did his best. He drew two stick figures in the middle. One with horns, Tubbo, and one with little ears and the empty eyesocket, the Piglin child. Around them, he drew a few larger stickmen, representing Endermen. To round it off, a lot of question marks. Basically the question was how the human ended up in the End dimensions. Once his masterpiece was done, he handed it to Tubbo, hoping that he will understand the question. At first he looked confused, but then he seemed to get the question. After adjusting his posture a little so he can keep his arms around the Piglin child, he wiped the chalk off before drawing himself.
It took a while, but eventually Tubbo handed the plate back before hugging his kid, grinning down at him to make him feel safe. The Piglin made a happy noise and cuddled closer to him. It warmed Ranboo's heart to see such an interaction between a parent and their child, assuming that Tubbo is their parent.
The new drawing was multiple small ones that were separated by thick lines between them. The first showed a simple drawing of two heads, Tubbo and the Piglin, with an arrow from the Piglin to the human. Ranboo assumed that meant that Tubbo somehow took the child under his wing and adopted him. The next one showed the same two heads, but surrounded by more faces that were angrily staring at them. So Tubbo adopted the Piglin... but the other humans were angry at them? Probably, considering the war they had. The last drawing was almost the same as the one before, with the difference that there was something that looked like a portal at the side and an arrow that pointed at it.
That's when Ranboo fully understood the situation. Tubbo and his kid were exiled into the end dimension... because he adopted the Piglin against the will of the other humans. He looked back at Tubbo and saw how he was playing with the child, both giggeling and making happy noises. It made him smile, seeing them like that. He wiped away Tubbo's drawing and did one of his own again. One of them showed him in front of two smaller stickmen, implying that he was willing to protect them. The other showed three stickmen near something that was supposed to look like a portal and an arrow that pointed into the portal. He wants to help them escape, if he can. He won't let his father kill them.
He handed the plate back to Tubbo. At first, he seemed confused and wasn't sure what the drawings meant. Only after Ranboo pointed at himself and then out the small window he seemed to understand the escape plan. The human grinned and literally threw himself into the Enderman's arms, hugging him tightly with one arm while holding his child with the other. Ranboo laughed and hugged back, enjoying the physical touch. When was the last time someone willingly touched him? He couldn't remember.
But of course there was still a problem. Where should they go? Ranboo didn't know of any other portal that would let them escape. Even if they can leave the island undetected, they would be lost in the endless, dead landscape. What he didn't expect was that Tubbo grabbed the stone plate and started to draw again. When he was done and showed him, Ranboo's heart almost stopped. It was a portal drawing and what he guessed was Tubbo's face with multiple exclamation marks and arrows to the portal. Does that mean... he knows of a portal?!
Seeing how confused Ranboo was, Tubbo drew some more things. This time it was a sketch of a bridge with him and some Endermen on it. A small arrow pointed from him off to a small dot he drew, which was obviously representing something in the distance. He saw a portal... that no one noticed before? How is that even possible? There is no way that no Enderman has never noticed it before!
(Listen. I've been working on this for a month. It's just plot armor for Tubbo. Just roll with it)
Even with the possibility that it wasn't true, the hope in his chest grew with every passing second. He could escape this prison... and see the other dimensions? Away from his father? But apparently there was another problem, as Tubbo started to draw again. While he drew, the Piglin looked at Ranboo, reaching it's arms out for him. Carefully, he picked the child up and held it close, smiling a bit. He has to admit... they do look adorable. The child made a happy noise and touched his face, obviously curious about how weird he looked with the two different colors. Tubbo quickly looked up to see if his kid was okay and smiled when seeing the cute interaction. At least the Enderman liked his kid. That's at least something good about this situation.
After another few minutes Tubbo held the stone plate out again. It showed all three off them at the top of this building, an arrow with question marks on it pointing into the void. Right... how were they going to get out of here without anyone noticing them? Ranboo started to think about that. Teleporting was out of the option, as Tubbo couldn't do that. And as soon as they leave this room, guards will alarm his father and capture them.
Then Ranboo remembered something. One time he snuck into the treasure chamber, just to see what was inside. His father always told him to stay away, so of course younger him was too curious to actually listen. Inside were a ton of things. Diamonds, Gold, Armor and lots of other shiny things. But there was one thing that catched his attention. Deeper in the vault was a wall littered with small hooks that held weird, wing like armor pieces. He thinks they were called 'Elytra' or something similar. If he understood correctly, they could make someone fly, or at least glide a long distance. Those would be perfect for escaping!
Just one tiny problem... how was he gonna get them? His teleportation abilities are questionable, as he was only partially Enderman. So he had no other choice but to sneak down there and somehow get inside. He does know about a small tunnel that lead right into it, but the entrance to said tunnel was still in the room right bellow it... next to the throne room. But what other choice did he have? It's either help Tubbo and escape with him, or watch two innocent lifes get taken away and keep living in the abusive shadow of his father.
With a smile, Ranboo handed the child back to him and got up. He mentioned for Tubbo to stay here and wait while he will go get something. Tubbo nodded and wrapped a blanket around him and the child while Ranboo left his hideout, closing and hiding the entrance once he was out. Now he just has to hope for the best.
Sneaking down the hallway was harder than he thought. Many guards were running around, probably looking for him. But it also meant that they weren't paying attention to the vault, so that part will be rather easy once he gets there. He just hopes that Tubbo and the child are alright. No one has ever managed to find his hiding spot.
Ranboo managed to reach the corridor that led right to the vault, past the throne room. When he got closer, he could hear his angry shouts. "I don't care! If you see any of them, kill them on sight! Ranboo is no longer the prince or an ally to our species!" Ouch... that was a kick in the face. Just because he refused to let his father kill a child. And to think that all the other Endermen were fine with killing them...
He had to squeeze between two pillars to hide while a handful of guards ran past him. Once the steps got quiet enough, he climbed back out and kept on walking. The entrance to the throne room stood open and his father was sitting in his throne again. He had bandages covering the right side of his face, small spots already turning purple where the blood was soaking through. Some of the advisors stood in front of him, trying to calm him down and assure him that they will find the traitor.
While they were busy, the former prince quickly snuck past, not interested in hearing any more of the conversation. Not that he cared much... he always knew his father hated him.
He entered the room that contained the tunnel into the vault, glad to find that it was empty. Alright, first part is done. The harder part will be to sneak back with the newly acquired loot. But that's a problem for future Ranboo. Present Ranboo was now busy crawling through the tunnel.
For once in his life, he was glad that he was smaller than the other Enderman. It was still a tight fit, but there was no way that others would be able to fit in here.
The inside of the vault was huge and filled with all kinds of treasure, even more than the last time he had been here. Piles of gold and diamonds, weapons and armor and at the back wall the Elytras. Ranboo grinned when he grabbed one. It was light and the fabric felt thin, but he knew that it could carry someone for miles before giving in.
All Elytras were enchanted, so they should hold for a while. He still grabbed for of them, just in case. He also grabbed a pile of rockets that were stored in chests in the corner, as well as a set of armor for Tubbo. He had his own back in his hideout.
Now comes the difficulty part. Getting all of this back to his hiding place. First he had to crawl back through the tunnel. That wasn't really a problem, it was just slow. The hallway beside the throne room was empty again, so he just snuck past the throne room again. This time it was empty. So his father is out to get him too... great.
He had to hide between pillars or in small rooms much more on the way back, guards running down to hallways or teleporting around. If only he could teleport as well, it would make things so much easier.
He managed to reach his hiding spot again (thank you plot armor) and quickly climbs inside. Tubbo was still there, holding the child. Ranboo let out a sigh of relief when he dropped the items on the floor, flopping down on the mess of blankets. This was way too stressful.
Tubbo curiously poked the Elytra, looking at Ranboo to try and get an explanation on what these things are. The hybrid grabbed the stone plate again and began to draw. It was a stick figure with the Elytra wings on its back. He held out the plate for his new friend, grinning. Tubbo's eyes widen when seeing the sketch. These things make you fly?!
Ranboo grabbed one of the Elytras and put it on, showing Tubbo how to do it. The human just stared at him, as if not believing that such things exists. Ranboo just grinned and pushed one over to Tubbo, together with the armor. He understood the message and set the child down, putting on his new gear.
Suddenly violent knocks could be heard from where the entrance was barricaded. "I know you are in there!" Shit... his father found him. Ranboo quickly put on his armor and handed Tubbo some rockets. Looks like they have to learn on the run. They could hear the wood giving in to the assult and the Piglin child started shaking.
Ranboo carefully took the child into his arms, confident that he could keep a better grip on it during the flying that Tubbo can. Tubbo seemed to be fine with it, smiling at Ranboo before crawling to the window. The drop led right into the void.
Right when they were about to jump, the small door bursts open. Mismatched eyes met the angry gaze of his father. "They are trying to escape! Get them!" Without a second thought, the hybrid shoved Tubbo out the window and jumped right after.
For a few second they just fell, then the Elytras catched the wind and allowed them to quickly glide away from the castle. Ranboo could hear the angry screams of his father and saw arrows flying past them, but none of them hit.
They were free.
Tubbo laughed and grinned at Ranboo, gliding right beside him. The Enderman grinned back and tightened his grip on the child, feeling them shiver a bit. Probably scared, the poor little thing. Ranboo grabbed a rocket and showed Tubbo how to use them to gain speed.
And like that, they glided through the void, high above the islands so Enderman won't spot them immediately. Tubbo leads the way to where he thought he saw the portal, but he seemed a bit lost himself. Looks like they were in for a long flight....
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Ranboo had no idea for how long they flew around, following bridges to try and spot the thing Tubbo had seen. They were both on the second Elytra and the Enderman was worried that they won't be able to reach the portal.
Then Tubbo called out his name, pointing to something on his left. A small island with a weird black dot on it. Was that it? They flew towards it and landed on the island, or at least tried to. Tubbo crashed into the ground face first, while Ranboo landed on his feet, but lost his balance through the momentum and fell as well.
Oh well, at least they are safe.
Tubbo got up and shook his head before looking at the weird dark spot. It was surrounded by bedrock, a small space in between glowed in dark blues and greens.
The two looked at each other, a bit nervous. Then Tubbo gave him a hug and patted his kids hair, before climbing into the portal. Once he touched the weird surface, he disappeared. The child let out a cry of distress and reached for the portal. Ranboo held them closer, not wanting them to go on their own. Who knew what was on the other side.
He looked back at his old home one last time. The familiar darkness of the void, the floating islands and the bridges that connect them. "Goodbye..." He turned and touched the portal, pressing the kid against his chest.
A weird feeling rushed through his body and for a second he felt weightless, then he hit the ground. A bright light blinded him and he had to close his eyes. He could still feel the child pressed against his chest and sighed, glad that they teleported together.
"Ranboo!" A shadow blocked the bright light and he could open his eyes again, spotting his human friend grinning at him. The child squealed and reached for their parent, who immediately took them and hugged them. It made Ranboo smile.
His eyes slowly adjusted to the light and allowed him to see their surroundings. A bright sky above, wide green plains and a forest in the distance.
It was beautiful.
Tubbo grabbed Ranboo's hand and pulled him to his feet. Right... where do they go now? From what he heard, Tubbo wasn't exactly welcomed here either. But he seemed to know exactly where they should go and pointed towards the forest. Ranboo nodded and followed Tubbo.
They used their Elytras until they eventually broke, already deep into a forest when they did. But Tubbo kept leading the way. Maybe they were close to his home? He must recognize the area if he is this set on following the invisible path that lead him to wherever he plans on going.
While they were walking, Ranboo took in his surroundings. All the different animals and colors, the smells and sounds. It was all so overwhelming.
Tubbo took his hand again and dragged him to the left, grinning when they reached a small clearing. In front of them was a wood cabin, smoke rising from the chimney and a small farm right next to it. Ranboo was still staring at it in awe when Tubbo pulled him to the door and knocked.
There were some sounds from inside, then the door opened. It revealed a man with blonde hair and blue eyes, wearing green clothes and a striped bucket hat. The most striking feature were two large black wings on the man's back.
When he spotted the three guests, he immediately pulled Tubbo into a hug, speaking in a language Ranboo couldn't understand. Tubbo laughed and hugged back before pointing to Ranboo, still speaking the weird language.
The man nodded and smiled, motioning for all three to come inside. As soon as the door closed, another person appeared. This one much younger, probably around Tubbo's age. As soon as he saw the other, he ran towards Tubbo and hugged him tightly. Two more figures stood in the hallway. One a tall human with brown hair, the other a Piglin hybrid with pink hair and tusks.
Ranboo stared at the hybrid in shock. A Piglin living in the Overworld? With humans?
"Don't worry mate, he won't hurt you." The Enderman stared at the winged man, his mouth dropping open in disbelief. Did he just talk in Ender?! "Wha..." "He's nice. I promise. Just a bit grumpy." "You can talk my language!" The man laughed. "Yes. I can speak all three. Learned Netherspeak through Techno and Enderspeak I teached myself."
Techno... that must be the Piglin's name. "My name is Philza. The loud child is Tommy, the tall one over there is Wilbur. You already met Tubbo." Ranboo nodded slowly. "Thank you... for helping Tubbo and Micheal. They were on their way to come here and live with us, but got captured before they reached us. We were worried sick about them..."
"I... I just did what I thought was right." Philza nodded and smiled again. "Come. You three must be hungry. We were about to start dinner."
The family moved to the kitchen and began to prepare dinner. Phil acted as a sort of translator so the kids could talk with Ranboo and get to know him a bit better.
It was quickly decided that Ranboo can live with them if he wanted, which he immediately accepted. He had a new home, a new family and even a little kid that he already grew attached to.
