Mumbo figures out his Sexuality and Grian takes him on a shopping spree to the Pride Shop (inviting Hannah along bcs Hannah is cool)

-Mumbo's Pov-

Me and Grian were chilling in the living room when I felt a bit hot. I figured washing my face would help keep body temperature so I stood up,
"Hold on G I need to use the rest room!",I smile and he nods before I walk out the room. I walk into the bathroom and begin washing my face over and over again,counting each time as I scrubbed my face with the now freezing water. I panted as I looked up in the mirror,getting invested in my thoughts as I stared at my reflection.

'Do I like being a man? I mean I don't want to be a woman but I don't like being a man either...? If that makes sense. I don't want to be either but I don't think that's possible. Is it? I really don't know.... I cant just be no gender can I? I mean Charlie likes being diffrent genders from time to time so maybe I can..? I should ask Grian...

"Hey Gri?",I call from the bathroom.
"Yeah?",he called back from the living room.
"Can you come here? I need to ask a question...",I yelled. A few seconds later I heard his little bird claws tapping on the hardwood floor as he approached the bathroom door.
"Can I come in or are you on the 'FaCILItYs'",he mocked me,
"OI IT WAS ONE TIME AND yes you can",I snicker. Grian walked in and smiled,
"What did you want to ask me?",he question as I stared at the mirror,"Oi don't stare into the mirror for so long it's bad luck",Grian hissed. I smiled and looked at him,my smile quickly fading.
"Hey what's up? Are you okay?", he asked,his tone changing from carefree to concerned.
"Yeah I'm good I just....I need to ask something",I mutter. He smiled kindly and sat on the toilet seat,
"Hit me,ask me all the questions you want answering",Grian said confidently. I nodded and took a deep breath,
"Is it possible to have no gender?",I ask and Grian starts laughing,"W-What? Was it something I said??",I ask nervously.
"I-Im sorry I'm sorry its just-oh your being serious-?? Well uhm-yes. Yes you can. Why are you asking?",He questioned making me go silent. "Mumbo you can tell me. Everyone in the school (including me) is gay-",he explained and I sighed.
"Well I think I might be-..."
"Non binary?"
"Yeah...yeah I think I'm non binary..",I smile warmly and Grian hugs me.
"You know what fuck if we're going shopping.",he grinned and I sighed. He stood up and took my hand,running out the room and out the apartment.

-Grian's Pov-

I made a quick pit stop at Hannah's house to ask if she wanted to come along. I knocked a load of times before she answered,
"Oh hi Mumbo,hi Grian!",She smiled.
"Were going shopping at the Pride Shop wanna come with?",I ask and she nods.
"Just give me a sec!",Hannah hobbled back inside,staggering out a minute later with some money and a coat,"Alright let's go!",She giggled as Mumbo and I helped her to the store. When we arrived I could already tell Mumbo was nervous. I patted him on the shoulder so he felt safe and he smiled warmly. We spent a few minutes in their,picking up diffrent necklaces,bracelets and flags of are pride. Mumbo kept hiding the stuff he brought but I didn't care. If he wasn't comfortable then he could do what he wanted to protect himself. Us and hannah parted shortly after. When we got home Mumbo started hanging the Pride flags up on are walls happily. It was nice to see Mumbo happy.... i want him to be happy! And I'm glad he's finally figuring himself out <3
