Tommy

I stared at my screen tiredly as I waited for my teacher to let me into the Zoom meeting. After a few minutes she finally did and of course told me to turn on my camera. Since I was gonna be marked as absent if I didn't I turned it on. She started taking attendance and then continuing with the lesson. I was barely even listening when my dad then suddenly opened my door with a laundry basket in his hand.

"Dad I...."I started.

"Nope. Don't wanna hear it. Your dirty laundry's been on your bed for way too long and I'm sick of it" He said without even looking at me.

"I'll do it later I'm..."

"You said that last month and it doesn't exactly look like you did it" Dad said and started throwing my dirty laundry in the basket.

"Dad I'm in class" I finally said which made my dad look up and look at my screen.

"Oh hi Tommy's class!" He said and waved before he just continued collecting my laundry.

"I'm on mute, they can't hear you" I said.

"Mr. Minecraft could you please tell whoever your friend is to leave. He's distracting from the lesson" My teacher said.

"I'm sorry Miss. He's my dad and..." I said after I unmuted my mike.

"Oh don't mind me. I'll leave in a sec. Tommy's room is just a fucking mess that's all" My dad said making me die of embarrassment.

I muted my mike and sent dad a glare and he soon left. Finally.

....

I looked down at my notes and took a deep breath. It's okay Tommy. You've prepared for this presentation tons. You've got this. No need to worry. The worst that can happen is that you stutter and your teacher won't grade after that.

"Mr. Minecraft. You can start now. Please also turn on your camera" My teacher said and I did as he told me.

"Hi. I'm chosen to work about the story of Theseus." I started and screen-shared my presentation.

I continued with my presentation and it all went well until the door to my room was suddenly slammed open by the second loudest member of my family, Wilbur.

"Tommy where's my hoodie!?" He said angrily as he just entered my room and started going through my stuff.

"Uhm...I don't know. Wilbur I'm in class right now" I said seriously hoping he'd just drop it and leave.

"I don't care. Where's my fucking hoodie!? I know you stole it you prick"

"I didn't. Wilby I..." I cut myself off as I realized my mistake. 

Not only did I accidentally call Wilbur by the nickname I used to call him as a little kid. I also forgot to mute. Oh boy, this is not gonna be fun.

"Did you just call me Wilby?" He asked as he turned around with a big smirk on his face.

"I said Wi..."

"You just fucking called me Wilby" He stated.

"I did not call you Wilby" I said seriously.

"You did" A few of my classmates said from zoom which caused me to remember I did not mute up.

"You just called me Wilby" Wilbur said smirking like the prick he is.

"Alright DICKHEAD! DICKHEAD!" I yelled at him as he stepped closer and I muted my mike and turned off my camera so my class wouldn't hear any more of this.

" AAW are you embarrassed?" Wilbur asked teasingly and knelt down beside my chair.

"Dickhead! I didn't call you Wilby!!" I yelled in his face.

"Are you embarrassed cause you called me Wilby?" He said now fully grinning at me.

"NO you fucking prick I'll fucking stab you!!" I yelled leaned over to be more intimidating.

"AAAWWWWW TOMMY!!" Wilbur said and messed with my hair. "You can call me Wilby again"

"No I really don't want to" I said annoyed and slapped his hand off my head. "Could you just get the fuck out of my room? I'm in class you prick!!"

"Alright Toms. See you at lunch" Wilbur smiled and left my room.

I sat and mostly stared at the clock in the corner of my screen while my teacher went on about her presentation. Only about an hour left of this shit. But of course when my online classes are boring and going smoothly my family must interrupt. This time my door swung open by Techno. Before I even got the chance to tell him to get out he had already placed a shopping bag on top of my head. Then I felt him literally drag me off my chair and out of my room.

"Techno what the hell!!!? Let me go!!" I yelled
