!SPOILERS FOR NEW LIFE SMP!

{Scotts POV}

"sooo~ im a lightmancer now!" i spoke to myself cheerfully as i turned into a beam of light, admiring my new lighthouse
"oh-! wait- AH! what is that-?!" i spoke panicked, looking at the top of my lighthouse
"oh, its a sparrow!" i finished
"i.. better keep moving so he can see me" i smiled
"SCOOOTTTTT" he called, landing on one of the large mushrooms i grew as a fungal mage
"Hiya sparrow!!" i called
"hey-! hey- erm howve you been? " he replied
"good!! its been a while!" i spoke happily
"yea- er- yeah it has.."
"welll! howve you been?" i called and he jumped down
"i- well uhm.. im- im gonna be honest, not great- yeah no-" he sighed
"oh- wait well, why?" i asked, frowning
"yknow just- tried to go into the wardens mind to see whats going on and- now the skulk is- kinda uh- get-getting to mee-!!~" he smiled nervously
"i- but wait..what do we have going on here?" he asked, circling me
"oh!! yeah so i was a- evil doll thing- and- uhm, now im a lightmancer!" i exclaimed excitedly
"eugh..light. yeah erm. no not a fan of light" he sighed
"oh well, why?" i asked curiously
"well yknow im, im a skulk hybrid, light... it- its not my thing" he mumbled
"but you know ive been meaning to ask you, have you ever had a hybrid thats like- their origin has gone wrong or- gone weird?" he asked
"erm well- not gone weird, besides when i was a fungal mage like- wanting to plant more fungus and stuff" i quizzed
"well what about the uh- the lady that wouldnt let you hit stuff?" he asked
"well once again the fungal mage stuff, she would let me she would just hurt me if i did so" i sighed
"well like- the the skulks been.. getting to me.. ive been making decisions and.. saying things i dont mean to.." he muttered
"well, do you think its because of.. i mean.. you kind of.. forced this upon yourself.. like.. the copper golem.. and- and- then the skulk.. and- the machines.." i mumbled, my sentence trailing off
"oh so just because im not a natural hybrid means im not as good as you?" he scoffed
"i- wait no!! no no!" i spoke quickly
"im just saying like.. when i became a lightmancer i died as a doll of natural causes and.. yknow" i shrugged
"wait.. where.. where did the skulk go..?" he asked shyly
"oh! sooo turns out, my light beam can like~ evaporate the skulk" i smiled
"no.. no wait that was gift.. its- its important that that stays there!!" he yelled
"i mean~ i-im the light and thats kind of like- the anti me" i shrugged again
"oh so im the anti you?" he sneered
"well i mean, you like- live in the deep dark and in the dark i get like- weak. i-.. i- like need light to sorta like- control it so yknow" i mumbled
"So your useless in the nighttime." he hissed
"well.. no-no.. im- im not 'useless' i mean, everything gives off some sort of light, the moon gives off some kind of light" i shrugged
"like, i need light, yes but it can be a little light, so its just like- in the deep darkness like in the deep dark, i struggle, so- yeah! with one flash of the laser beam it was, gone! yknow, cleared up" i spoke
"b-but that was a gift its- important that it stays here!" he protested, raising his voice
"a-and you you just got rid of it!" he yelled angrily
"well, you said it was here so you could like.. connect with me and your here anyways now soo.. why does it matter?" i asked, genuinely confused
"i dunno.. i- just feel like its rude that you just flat out got rid of it!" he explained
"and did you eat the food that i brought you as a gift last time?" i quizzed, already knowing the answer
"well, no, you know i cant!! the skulk doesnt like food!!" he spat
"well, i dont like darkness soo.. feels like the same thing" i explained
"i mean.. you put down a little bit of skulk and.. i got rid of it.. m-my bad.." i mumbled quietly
"well thats the whole thing and why im here is that.. the skulk needs to spread." he hissed
"well, why cant it spread down in the deep dark-? you know.. where it belongs?" i asked
"well no what if it wants to be out like- where everybody else is!!" he hissed, raising his voice a bit
"why are you trying to like.. box it in all the time?!" he sneered
"well- you- you know i mean.. im- im not like-  its just- yknow this is outside- wh-where the light is-!" i tried desperately to explain my side
"oh so well now youve became a light guy?! and now suddenly im not alloud to be up here!!?" he hissed, getting more aggressive
"i have to go back down where its.. dark and- wet." he growled
"well no, i just said i.. i didn't need it right... n-next to my house of all places" i muttered, my voice got quieter as ide always hated yelling
"i mean.. why do you care so much about what the skulk thinks..?" i asked gently
"why? well im- im a skulk hybrid! so of course im gonna care about what the skulk thinks" he sighed
"well.. are you? i mean.. you kind of.. made yourself this..right?" i muttered, backing up a bit 
"you didnt just.. die" i sighed
"and like- you were a human and used the machine to turn you into the copper one.. an- and then the other machine to turn you into the skulk.." i mumbled
"oh so just because i want to join your fancy little hybrid club because im fascinated by them then you suddenly think everything i do revolves around you?!" he hissed
"i dont get like.. why your.. letting the skulk thing get to you so much.. like when im a hybrid im- im still me" i murmured
"yeah well, i am still me aswell it just kind of feels like.. you dont want me to be a hybrid" he hissed
"like you think that this is your cool thing and that im not aloud to join in." he scowled, glaring at me as i backed up, tripping over a small part of the hill.. hed pulled out a knife..?!
"i mean it.. f-feels kind of like your.. getting aggressive.. o-over the fact that- i- i just.." i mumbled
"oh well yeah!! i come along and- just because im a better hybrid like- just the fact that skulk is more powerful than some stupid light  and that- as if it has anything to do with it." he scoffed
"i.. dont think ide say your stronger than me.. i mean, i can set off a huge beam of light." i replied out of confusion
"i literally blast things with condensed light and your- threatening me with a knife!!" i exclaimed
"a knife... i dont need a knife to kill you Scott." he hissed, a frightening smirk on his face
"i- why- why would you want to kill me!?" i questioned, horrified
"well, you seem pretty interested in getting rid of me.. that skulk is me!! thats who i am!!" he exclaimed
"i- y-you dont sound like yourself.." i mumbled..

he began getting closer
so i did the only thing i could
i blasted him with a light beam and turned into light
screaming i landed on my light tower
staying entirely still so he couldnt see me.

"im just gonna hide up he..here.. sta-stay still so he cant see me.." i mumbled to myself
"what on earth has gotten into him?! ..i think- i think i lost him.." i mumbled
"thats,.. not the sparrow i know.." i muttered
"why is- why is he coming over to the edge!?" i questioned, scarcely
"theres no way..!" i scoffed in fear, falling into the large light as it shattered between impact, slicing my skin
"HERE!" he called, finding me
"NO! sparrow, sparrow, sparrow!!" i called as he went inside my head
"RIGHT! THATS IT!!" he yelled 
my whole body began to ache horribly
"WHAT?! what do you- mean 'thats it?!" i yelled scared
"SPARROW!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING SPARROW?!" i screamed, grasping at my head
"STOP!!" i screamed through tears
"i told you i dont need a knife to kill you.." he muttered
"IM A HYBRID TOO YKNOW!!" he screamed
"SPARROW IM GONNA DIE!!" i screamed out of rightful fear
"WHATRE YOU DOING?!" i yelled..
