Warriors (Wilbur Soot)
As a child you would wait
And watch from far away
As Wilbur and Tommy made their way through the forest away from Manburg after Schlatt's announcement of a festival, one that they weren't invited to. Wilbur's mind was racing, why hadn't he thought of that? Was Schlatt a better president than him?
"Tommy I have a question for you," Wilbur started,"because this festival you know seems like a good idea. This isn't bad, it isn't evil."
"Yeah," Tommy said.
But you always knew that you'd be the one
That work while they all play
"Tommy are we the bad guys," Wilbur thought back on everything he had done, "cause you know we made ourselves the leaders, we held an election, Schlatt won through a coalition government, and now we're trying to over throw him. It's kinda feels like we're the bad guys."
In youth you'd lay
Awake at night and scheme
"This doesn't feel correct," Wilbur stopped and turned towards Tommy, "Tommy, am I the villain in this story? Am I the villain in your history?"
Of all the things that you would change
But it was just a dream!
"No," Tommy refused to believe it.
"Why not?"
"Cause we started L'Manburg, and we should have won that vote," Tommy kept walking, hoping that Wilbur would snap out of it.
"But the people choose Schlatt," Wilbur said, a grin slowly forming, "I need to tell you something. Me and you, we both agree that we're right? Then let's be the bad guys."
Here we are, don't turn away now,
"Look, our nation's gone, our nation's far behind us," Wilbur entered their base, he lowered his voice, "Let's blow that motherfucker to smithereens."
"Wilbur, are you," Tommy started, getting more conserned for him, "are you thinking straight?"
We are the warriors that built this town
"Tommy! I say if we can't have Manburg, no one! No one can have Manburg," He paused and corrected himself, "L'Manburg."
Here we are, don't turn away now
"I still think we can get it back," Tommy said,"we can still get L'Manburg back."
We are the warriors that built this town
"This is a new era! I say we burn the place to the fucking ground," Wilbur declared, spreading his arms out, and Tommy took a step back, "I want no crops to grow there! I want it all gone! Tommy, let's be villains."
From dust.
"I, uh, I need a minute to think," Tommy headed towards the door, Wilbur had lost it.
"You've had a minute to think," Wilbur glared making Tommy freeze.
"Am I, am I interrupting something," Tubbo poked his head through the door.
"Tubbo, my man, I'm so glad you're here," Wilbur grinned and slung his arm around Tubbo's shoulders as the teen came in, "so tell me what happened after we left?"
"Well uh, Schlatt gave me the job of helping organizing the festival, and uh, making the mini games," Tubbo stuttered.
"Anything else," Wilbur encouraged, Tommy wanted to stop Wilbur but he was afraid of the backlash he would get.
"Oh um, a speech," Tubbo remembered,"I have a speech, you know Schlatt's orders. Speaking of which he's radioing me, sorry for the short visit."
"So you're talking about politics and Manburg," Wilbur asked.
"Uh, yeah, things like that," Tubbo said,"I've got to go before I'm even more suspicious."
Wilbur nodded and walked down into the tunnel system that made up Pogtopia. Tommy reluctantly followed after telling Tubbo farwell.
"Will, I don't think blowing up L'Manburg is a good idea," He finally said,"If you think this is the way to take back our land I will follow you, but I don't agree with you."
Here we are, don't turn away now
"Tommy, I know what you're doing," Wilbur said as Tommy backed away, "I see it in you're eyes, I hear it in your voice, Tommyinnit you're scared that people are going to think differently of you. When I said you were never going to be president it wasn't a challenge, it was true. You're never gonna be president Tommy.
"And Tubbo he's lying to you, he's not on our side, no one is, I mean sure they might be now because the enemy of my enemy is my friend, but what happens when we take back L'Manburg? We become their enemies.
"I am going rig L'Manburg with tnt and whoever gets caught in the crossfire well, sucks to be them," Wilbur rambled,"and I'm going to set it off during Tubbo's speech."
We are the warriors that built this town (don't turn away)
"I need, I need to go," Tommy practically ran back up, he untied Technoblade's horse, mounted it, and rode to his old house.
"Tommy," Tubbo came into the house to find him pacing around, "What are you doing here? You could be seen, or caught."
"I know, it's just," Tommy grabbed Tubbo's shoulders, the fear clear on his face, "Wilbur's gone crazy." He pulled Mellohi out of his chest, "here, sit down with me."
"Wait, is that Mellohi," Tubbo asked, confused, then pulled out his copy of the disk, as Tommy claimed that Wilbur gave it to him, "but Wilbur gave me your disk. And I also got the other disk from Bad."
"Wait, that means you have two of my disks," Tommy sat down on the bench, "but why wouldn't he give it back to me?"
"He wants leverage over you," Tubbo sat next to him, "you're a valuable asset to him because he's not in power anymore."
"Well then can I have my disks back?"
"No, I think I'll keep them."
We are the warriors that built this town
"Tubbo," a voice asked, making both of them freeze, "why the hell is Tommy here?"
From dust
Tommy looked out at the forest and then to Schlatt behind him, someone needed to stop Wilbur, but he knew he couldn't stop his best friend, his mentor.
"Wilbur plans to rig L'Manburg with tnt and blow it up during the festival," Tommy said, "and he doesn't care who gets caught in the crossfire."
To be continued...
