Natasha was in the quin-jet cozening up to Steve's chest. She was in her husbands embrace trying to understand everything that had just happened. In one of their latest missions Natasha was taken by Cross- bones. She almost died. When Steve and everyone else saved her he wouldn't let her leave his side.

Tony and the other avengers watched them from the front of the jet in curiosity.
"I have never seen Steve so clingy." Clint said.

"yeah, i don't think that he will ever let her go." Tony said taking a sip of his wine. Natasha moved slightly when Steve sat up and laid her head on Steve's lap. he leaned over to finish the paper work he had to do as team captain.
"Hey Steve, you have work to do so why don't you go and let Natasha sleep."

"No. she is fine right here," Steve said and rubbed Natasha's arm. They sighed and allowed him to let Natasha rest on his lap.
Back at base Steve walked with Natasha into his apartment. Shen tried to let go of his hand however he took hold of it again.
"Steve i am just gonna go rest in bed." She said.

"No i will go with you come on."

"Steve you have work to do."

"Nothing is more important than making sure you are okay."

"Steve, i will be fine" She tried once again.

"no. i will lay with you." He said in a demanding voice. Natasha was unsure why he was acting this way. Once her head hit the pillow Steve immediately pulled her into his arms. He wrapped his arms very tightly around her waist and kissed her neck until she fell into a deep slumber.

The next morning Natasha woke up bright and early only to be in a tight embrace of her husband. She sighed and used her spy skills to carefully remove herself Steve's hold. She silently open and closed their door and went out to the kitchen where everyone ate in the kitchen.

"Oh look who has finally come out to join us." Tony said.

"where is your puppy dog?" Clint teased. Natasha gave him a annoyed look.

"Most likely waking up and freaking out. Guys you have to help me. Last night i tried to get up and go to the bathroom and he took my hand and stood outside the bathroom. do you understand who weird that is?" She said gulping down a cup of coffee.

"Relax girl, he just got you back. it's normal for him to be a bit possessive over you." Clint said. "you should feel honored someone would care about me that much."

"you have Laura, and i don't like this. it really weird-" She was interrupted by arms wrapping around her waist and a kiss on her neck.

"where did you go?" He whispered into her ear.

"To get coffee." She replied dryly.

"Okay, wake me up next time." He said in a demanding way.

"I can get coffee on my own Steve. i am not some child."

"i never said you were. i just don't want you out of the room without me." He spoke as if she had just slapped him in the face.

"Steve can i have a moment with you alone?" Natasha said biting her lip. Steve nodded and walked her out to the porch.

"Steve why are you being such ass?" She asked once they were alone. Steve gave her the most observed look ever.

"Language. How am i being a what you just called me?" He asked asking all innocent. Natasha laughed and put her hands on her head.

"How can you not see? Steve you wouldn't let me go to the fricken bathroom" Natasha complained. "Why are you being so clingy. i really don't understand."

"What i don't understand is how you can yell at me for this."

"what are you talking about?" She asked. Steve sighed and sat down.

"Natasha you almost died. i almost lost you. i held you lifeless in my arms. do you have any idea how much that hurts? it hurts a lot. When i held you i knew there was so many more things i wanted to do with you. i knew that there was all this life i wanted to share with you. there was so much i hadn't yet said to you. and when i heard you heart beat come back i vowed i would make you my number one priority just in case something tragic came like me having lost you." He said. Natasha watched as her heart clenched. She came up to him moving in between his legs. She put her hand to his face.

"I love you Steve. and i never gave up on your love. which is why i am still here right now. and i promise that i don't plan on leaving you anytime soon." Natasha said.

"How can you be sure?" He asked sadly.

"We may not be on earth forever but we will be in each others hearts forever and always. even if we get separated when life wants to be cruel. we will be in each other hearts. and we will be reunited soon. do you hear me you will never lose the love i have for you." She said lovingly. Steve smiled and her and pulled her in for a hug.

"I promise to never ever be so demanding ever again." Steve said in her neck.

"Good, no offense but possessiveness is not a good shade on you." Natasha commented. He laughed and gave her a long passionate kiss.

"I love you Mr.Rogers."

"I love you Mrs.Rogers."
