Bucky's help |Romanogers|

It was no secret to anyone who had eyes that Steve Rogers was almost utterly in love with Natasha Romanoff. Just the way he looked at her you could see the love. Everyone saw it, well everyone except Natasha Romanoff. Either she hasn't noticed, which Bucky surely doubts, or she refuses to acknowledge it for whatever reason.

Ever since he decided to do some missions, Bucky has noticed a pattern when it comes to his best friend. It had to do with Natasha. Now everyone knew she was completely capable of taking care of herself, but whenever she was in any danger of a bullet, or surprise attack, Steve was there to take the hit. This would often lead to Natasha yelling at him for being stupid. Bucky was just glad he didn't have to yell at Steve anymore.

He didn't know why Steve refused to make a move on her, but he knew one thing. Natasha Romanoff wouldn't be single forever, heck if Steve wasn't in love with her Bucky would ask her out himself. But he knew better, especially when he saw what happened to Matt Murdock early this week. Let us explain.

Early this week, Natasha told the team they had someone joining them on this weeks mission, and that's where it all began. That is where it all went downhill.

"Natasha, don't you think maybe you should have run this by me before we invite anyone else on the team?" Steve asked, although he wasn't angry, no one was sure he could even yell at Natasha at this point. "We don't want to put anyone else in danger."

"You need to learn to relax Steve," She said sending him a smirk. "Besides he's a vigilante, so I am guessing he is not afraid of messing with the law."

"If he can help, don't you think we should give him a chance?" Bucky said butting in the conversation.

"Yeah he knows this place better then we do," Wanda also said, causing Sam to nod his head.

"Are you all ganging up on me?" Steve asked although he knew full well that he lost this battle the moment Natasha told him about her suggestion.

"Steve," Natasha said. "We have to let him help us." The way she looked at him surely did something to him so he nodded. Natasha smiled and walked to her room with a victorious look on her face, Wanda and Sam retreating to their own as well.

"You are not going to last much longer punk," Bucky commented patting him on the back. Steve took a moment to think about what he was saying.

"No-" But it was too late, Bucky had left to his room leaving Steve utterly embarrassed.

The next morning, Natasha came walking out of her room talking to someone on the phone, the others watched curiously.
"Are you making fun of my house Matt?" She asked Steve frowned, he didn't know Natasha was on first name bases with this man. "Yeah come on up, we are all ready. That's not true........ Matt, I have no clue what you're talking about....okay whatever just come up" She said before hanging up.

"So I am guessing that you know the guy?" Sam asked.

"Well of course," She said with a smirk. "Do you think I would bring someone in that I didn't already know everything about? I am almost offended, Wilson."

Before Sam had a chance to respond, there was a knock on the door. Steve was very curious to know who Matt was. He wouldn't admit it, but anyone with eyes could see just how jealous the captain really was.

As Matt walked in, everyone was surprised because he immediately wrapped his arm around Natasha's waist, he was also incredibly good looking.

"Natasha, it has been far too long," he smirked.

"Where's Paige?" she asked removing his arm from her waist, which Steve was grateful towards.

"I told you it's an on again off again type of thing," He said. "And right now it's off again, maybe for good."

"Too bad,"

"I don't see you in a relationship Romanoff," He said. There was a cough behind them, both forgot they had company.

"So I guess we can all guess how you know this guy," Sam said with a smirk.

"Guys this is Matt," She said and walked with Matt over to the kitchen.

"So when did you two meet?" Sam asked, acting like a teenage girl at a sleepover.

"If you must know Sam, at a bar." She said. "He and I...." She trailed off. "Doesn't matter, but Matt these are my friends, Sam, Bucky, Wanda, and Steve,"

"Steve Rogers." Matt let out with a sigh. "You took me to a criminals house, Natasha?"

"Well I mean I am a criminal too so." She said.

"Natasha, he is on the worlds most wanted list. Last I check you weren't." He said. "Maybe that Ross guy wants you but not enough to put you on the list."

"How exactly is this man going to help us?" Steve asked having enough, he didn't think they needed help, let alone from Natasha's old fling.

"Have you guys ever heard of the Devil in Hell's Kitchen?" She asked and they all turned silent. No one could believe it apparently. "He's going to help us infiltrate AIM."

"No no I am not. The police are already after me day and night, I don't need the FBI on me too," Matt said and began to turn around.

"We don't need your help anyway," Steve started. "We have this all under control, I don't know why Natasha even brought you in." Everyone watched carefully as Matt turned around.

"You are a soldier." He reminded. "You aren't exactly good at stealth. now Natasha and I, well that's what we are good at,"

"Matt, Steve," Natasha said trying to stop whatever was about to happen. But neither looked at her.

"You're a blind man, I think I can get into the building better then you can." Steve huffed as Matt let out a laugh.

"I have a trained skillset that allows me to do the job better then you can." A smile appeared on Matt's face. "Of course at least that's what Natasha thinks." It was almost as if he was reading Steve's feelings like he was an open book.

"You can go, we don't need you," Steve said.

"I think we do." Natasha interrupted. "Matt you are staying. Steve, you said you would relax what has gotten into you?"

"Nothing, I just don't think we need to involve any more people than we already have," Steve said, the others were watching the trio like they were a tv show.

"Natasha," Matt said turning her attention to him, "A night with you might just change my mind, it's been a while."

"Don't talk to her like that," Steve said, his voice really threatening. Sam, Bucky and Wanda's head moved back and forth from both men. Natasha watched in disbelief.

"I have known her a lot longer then you have," He reminded. "Don't tell me what to do."

"I will tell you what to do if it messes with my friends." He said standing tall, although his height wouldn't intimidate Matt for a few reasons. Matt wasn't even paying attention anymore as he turned back to Natasha.

"Wanna go to the bar down the street? I bet I can still drink you under the table," He said with a smirk, and that broke Steve, as he lunged at him, Bucky quickly had to run and grab Steve, Sam following in suit.

"WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?" Natasha yelled as Matt stood there unfazed by it all. "You know what, Matt Wanda and I will take this mission," She turned to Bucky and Sam, "Deal with him." She said and then left with a smirking Matt, telling Wanda to go suit up.

Outside Natasha and Matt look at one another when they closed the door. "See Nat," He said with a smirk. "Told you he liked you."

"He's protective that's all. That proves nothing."

"Want me to flirt with the other girl? I am sure he wouldn't have the same reaction."

"No, I don't need to clean up a murder." She smirked. "Now let's get to work."

"Whatever you say."

That day was mostly terrifying, Bucky had never seen his best friend act so... protective. Since that day Bucky has kept a close on Steve, making sure he doesn't murder every guy who so much as looks at Natasha.

If he was being honest it was kind of getting over the top. He wanted Steve to admit his feelings so he could go back to bed. That's right, he was awake watching them like a creep as they had their weekly movie night, that no one else was invited to. No one else actually knew about it, but Bucky was awake and needed to borrow something from Steve, and he walked into something amazing. Straight out of a rom-com.

There they were, Natasha sitting against the couch, her feet laid upon Steve's legs, as Steve sat on there rubbing her legs. Bucky was about to go over there and throw the two closer together when Natasha started to shake her head.

"Why do you have to act like that?" She asked.

"Act like what?" He asked innocently.

"We are keeping this thing between us a secret fro now Steve, but you blowing up like that can't keep happening." She said.

"Can you blame me?" He asked pausing the movie that was long forgotten. "He was being rude."

"He was messing with you. Told me he thought you had a crush on me, I said no to keep it a secret and so he came up with this stupid plan."

"Well, I didn't know that." He said pulling her close to himself and kissing her on the forehead.

"At least I know you would fight for me if it came down to it." She said with a smile.

"You know I would." He answered. "When are we going to tell the others?" He asked and Bucky listened closely, he couldn't believe his ears. That punk hid this from him all this time? Impossible, Bucky could read Steve like an open book.

"I have a feeling Bucky already knows."

"What makes you think that?" Steve asked.

"Because he's in your kitchen." Bucky's heart dropped. How the hell does she do that? "Bucky I suggest you leave if you want to keep your other arm."

"Right," He said revealing himself. Steve looked embarrassed as he saw his best friend. "but one question. Did I find out before Sam?"

"Yeah?" Natasha said eyeing him carefully.

"Good." He smirked before leaving. "Don't do anything I wouldn't do punk! If you need some cond-"

"GO AWAY!" Steve yelled as Natasha laughed. Bucky was proud of his best friend, but even more proud of knowing he knew before Bucky. The only question he had, which he would have asked if Natasha didn't scare him was, why is he only now finding out.

At least Steve was happy. and now he could get some sleep. Man being a wingman was hard. Although he did nothing to help the couple in Bucky mind, he is the reason Steve and Natasha got together.

"If it wasn't for me," Bucky said to the group. "These two wouldn't be getting married today."

"I'd like to think I did everything." Matt inquired.

"None of you did anything," Natasha said rolling her eyes, that is when the two men started their disagreement. Natasha stood up, "Okay wedding is over, I am leaving."

"Nat it's our wedding," Steve reminded.

"Let's get to the honeymoon," She nodded at Bucky and Matt, "Unless you want to say here with them?"

"You're right," And with that the couple left, leaving Bucky to think that it was him to motivated them to leave quickly for their honeymoon. Man everyone needs a Bucky in their life. Look how helpful he is. He hoped they remembered what good help he is.

This sucked but whatever!
