Trail Of Forgiveness
Author Note: This chapter will be switched between Ahsoka, Leo, and possibly Galen's POV. Enjoy y'all.
As the shadow eclipse landed on the muggy mist filled swamp planet of Dagobah, Gray knights Galen and Ahsoka walked down the landing ramp. Proxy was right behind them, his scanners going crazy;
"Galen, I'm afraid I can not locate your missing person."
"What are you saying? There's no life form on this planet?" Galen asked, turning towards his droid friend.
"Why no, just the opposite, there seems to be a lot of life on this planet," Proxy eased Galen's mind.
"It's this planet, the force is strong here," Ahsoka stated, Galen noticing as well.
"How are we gonna find him?" Galen asked.
"It's like Saber's daughter told us, the force will be our guide," Ahsoka reminded her friend.
Before Galen could chime in his thoughts, from the distance both gray knights saw small bright lights, like five or six twlinking stars.
The light will be your guide. . .
Both gray Jedi now confused by the unknown masculine voice, Now no longer sounding like Jame's daughter. Though the voice did let off a sense of peace and non violence.
"Proxy, you, Kota, and Juno stay with the ship," Gale ordered his droid, "We'll check it out."
As the droid returned back inside the shadow eclipse, Galen and Ahsoka started making their way to the light. As the light appeared to be floating away from them, guiding them in a sense.
Just a little be longer. . .
"Who are you?" Ahsoka asked the unknown male voice.
I am Qui-qon Jinn. . .
"Wait, the Qui-qon, former master of Anakin?" Ahsoka asked, shocked to here the voice of her Skyguy's first master.
Yes, it is I, Guiding you to your destiny Ahsoka Tano and Galen Marlek.
"Destiny?" Both gray said in unison.
To trained the chosen son. . .

~Leo's POV~
Meditating with his legs criss cross, Leo was snapped out of his focus, standing to his feet. He overheard in the distance a voice, his sister, saying;
Leo, their here, your mentors have arrived. . .
"Where sister?" He asked the distance voice.
Let the force guide them to you, stay put brother, patience. Clem's voice replied while she faded off into the distance.
At a standing stance, eye closed, meditating waiting for his new mentors to arrive a few moments past, and from the distance Leo saw a glimmer of light in the distance. As the light dimmed down, two figures stood in it's place, getting closer and closer. Leo could make out a older Togruta woman, and a humanoid in darken color Jedi clothing. As the two Jedi figures approach the ex-Sith, close enough to talk, the older Togruta woman spoke;
"James Saber the third-"
"Leo, my name is Leo now" the ex sith interrupted the Togruta woman.
"That is your Sith name James," the Togruta girl told Leo.
"I rather be called that, then the other name, that side of me died a long time ago," Leo replied, his head slumped down a little.
"It is the name of your true self, your real self," the Togruta woman comforted him, "like me, my name is Ahsoka Tano, and my friend here is Galen Marlek-"
Galen put his hand up, and Ahsoka stopped talking as Galen spoke; "perhaps you know me by my other more infamous name - Starkiller."
Leo looked up at the darken color Jedi, now both at a stare off, as Leo broke the silence within seconds, "Vader's secret apprentice?" asked the ex sith.
"That i was," Galen answered, "and much like you, i was also nearly lost in the darkness, blinded by it-"
"How did you come back?" Leo asked.
"My love for Juno, and Jedi master Rahm Kota," Galen answered Leo, then continued on explaining, "it wasn't easy though, at first i thought redemption was long gone for me, but Juno and Kota never give up hope, and later down line i too found the hope and faith for my redemption."
"But what if it's too late for me?" Leo asked, "What if i'm a lost cause," his face hidden in the shadows of his hooded cloak, masking most of his face.
Ahsoka approach the ex sith, placing a hand on his shoulder, removing the hood with her free hand, "No one is a lost cause," Ahsoka comforted him, like a mother there for a son.
Leo shook her hand off his shoulder, turning his back on them, "You don't know what i did, the damage i caused," now ready to walk away Leo was stopped in his tracks by a unknown figure embracing the ex sith in a warm embraced hug from behind.
"We can help you find that path of forgiveness," the figure, now revealed to be Ahsoka who hugged him replied, "you have to trust us Leo, let the force be our guide and the man known as James the third can be redeem."
"H-how can you be so sure," Leo asked, his back still turned with Ahsoka, whom stopped hugging him, "How can you both be so sure of my redemption?"
For a moment all three characters were standing there in silence, Leo turned to face the two gray masters. Ahsoka, Galen stepping by her side showing he supported and believes in her and Leo as well.
"Hope," Ahsoka finally replied after moments of silence, "I- we have hope."
Leo stood there, silence by her answer, Ahsoka and Galen heard a small chuckle, followed by a light smile, bailey noticeable but Ahsoka saw a glimpse of it.
"You sound like my mother," Leo replied, "she always had high hopes for me, and was always my voice of reason, keeping me calm."
"She sounds like a smart woman," Ahsoka said to Leo.
"She was, you both would of got along great," Leo replied stepping closer to the two masters.
"Reminds me of a certain senator as well that i know, smart and beautiful, never afraid to speak her mind," Ahsoka told Leo.
"Yea that definitely sounds like my mother too," Leo told the female gray, the ex sith, now gray padawan bowed to his masters, "I'm ready Master Tano and Master Galen."
"Good young Saber, we can begin then," Ahsoka told her new student.
"Indeed, let's meditate to begin," Galen added on.
"Begin what?" Leo asked his male Jedi instructor.
"Your trail of forgiveness" Galen answered, and hearing that all three were out, deep in a meditated trace.

~Leo's Mind~
Leo wandered the abandoned halls, of this familiar place he once called home. Walking through corridor after corridor, he wondered why the force brought him here. Not to far behind his masters Ahsoka Tano and Galen Marlek followed.
"Why are we here?" Leo asked stopping in his tracks, in front of the ex sith, now gray learner, a closed door in front of him.
"The beginning of your training," Ahsoka told him.
"Here is where your first influence with the dark side came to be," Galen added on.
Leo took a breath, opening the door, as it slid open with hiss, the gray padawan walked inside, as the wave of anger and emotion nearly took him down to his knees.
"We are here for you young Saber," Ahsoka calming voice informed her padawan, "trust us."
As Leo walked inside, now fully in the room, the flashbacks, the voices, hit hard. This was the place his father nearly died, by Leo's own hands;
I will not fight you, my son
Then you will perish old man
James come back to the light it's not too late.
It is too late, father
The sound of lightsaber clashing, and locking. Leo could hear the grunts and punches from himself and his father all too well. Every sound, echoing in pitch perfect detail, filling Leo's head with the horrible events that occurred. At the end of the room, a big strain glass window, with a wide view of space stared at the young padawan. Two ghostly figures, illusions, appeared a few feet ahead of Leo. The one sporting a red crimson lightsaber, while the other a lime green lightsaber, as both were in a intense weapon's lock.
Leo i don't want to hurt you.
Your lies and corrupted order already has.
The dark side has blinded you my son, don't do this.
I will do what i must.
The older gentlemen, with the green weapon, took a slow deep breath. recalling his lightsaber back inside his hilt. arms extending outwards, defenseless.
You'll have to kill me, because i won't kill my only son.
As the young, reckless, and angry young sith lifted his lightsaber in the air, Leo eyes were glued to this situation, helpless to relive his past mistake, when a voice called out from a distance.
Brother don't do this.
Leo recognize the voice to be his younger sister Clementine, remembering this event clearly now, when she rushed in to save father. The ghostly feminine character, rushed over to the defenseless older man, now revealed to be Clementine and Leo's father.
"Sister i don't want to hurt you," Leo repeated the words, he said all those years ago, now standing where his past self stood.
Then why are you doing this?
"I don't have a choice," Leo repeated his past lines, "You wouldn't understand."
Then help me understand brother, just lower your weapon, and talk to us.
"It is too late for talking sis," Leo replied, a portal opening up behind him as the padawan turned, watching his former self turn to walk away through the portal. Leaving his family, and everything he had loved behind.
Leo stepped down from where he was standing, walking back outside the room, his two masters were waiting.
"Was that part of my training?" Leo asked sounding angry, mostly at his past decision, and himself.
"Yes, the road to redemption takes you down a path of sorrow, anger, fear, and self hatred" Ahsoka said to him, noticing the anger in his voice, "reliving old memories, and mending old wounds."
"Did i pass then?" Leo asked, "Am i one step closer?"
"You did pass," Galen answered him.
"How can you be sure, how do you know?"
"I know Leo," Ahsoka told him in a sweet comforting mother like voice, "I've felt the pain and regret you feel right now, you are improving."
Leo bowed to his masters, "Thanks you Master Tano."
"The next test awaits-" Galen told his padawan, as a blinding white light teleported all three away to a abandon warehouse. The same warehouse Leo, back when he was a Sith, was reunited with his father after so many years has past.
"What business do you have here Saber?" Darth Leo ask, "Leave now and i wont have to kill you."
"I am here on family matters, but most importantly keeping the balance of the force in check" James replied, "Leo why are you working for Supreme Leader Snoke? he is just using you."
"Don't lie to me Saber, Snoke has shown me the truth, the very truth you and others at that order hid from me."
"Lies? Leo we teach the truth, we teach about the balance, the true meaning of force the whole force" James explained, "The only lies are from Snoke, Now where are Snoke and Kylo?"
"Wouldn't you like to know" Leo snapped back, drawing his lightsaber and twirling it in the air after active it, igniting the red blade.
"Don't make me do this" James pleaded, "I will not fight you."
"Coward!!" Leo yelled charging head first at James, his weapon ready to kill. Moments away from cutting James's head off a portal opened up. Too late to reacted Leo ran right into it as it close behind him. James stood where Leo once was, watching the portal close then stood in silent.
"What happen to you" James said to himself, pausing in silent, "My son."
Leo stood there, next to the illusion that was his father, staring off at the empty space the portal once was. Leo knew his father could of teleported him away in the galaxy, even to his death. But his father spared him, teleported him to a place far away. The young gray stood there in silence, the emotions hitting him hard, tears ready to pour out. Leo was strong, stubborn as well, his emotions wouldn't get the best of him like this. After all he was his father's son, and named after him as well. Leo stood there a few moments more admiring his father and how he was always so forgiving towards family or others that did him wrong.
Ahsoka walked up behind her padawan, placing a hand on his shoulder, "James, it's time to go."
"Where?" Leo asked, already knowing the answer.
"Your final test young Saber, the final choice that nearly drowned you in darkness."
With those last few words, all three grays disappeared by a blinding bright light. Leaving the abandon warehouse, and on to Leo's next stage in his trail of forgiveness, his redemption.
