- Think before you act and remind others to do so as well
- "I mean," "You know," "I guess"
- Repeat certain words for emphasis ("Wait. Wait, wait wait." "No, no," "Whoa, whoa, hang on")
- Look for connections or the bigger picture (be a strong Ni user, basically)
- Avoid arguments, but stand your own when necessary
- Use good vocabulary in everyday speech while still sounding casual and youthful
- Read, write. Be a nerd. Bonus points for keeping a journal
- Speak politely
