The end to a great love story

The final to the past three stories.

It's been two years since that man left Stampy alone,and it was all because of Dan. Since that day they starting dating and eventually became a couple. Stacy and Lizzie had their quarrels but always had each other's back at the end of the day. Sparklez never told anyone about his secret work to the FBI, not even Anthony. And Anthony... well he seemed to never age. Two years since a chapter ended and a new began, but it was about time the book came to an end.

It was five p.m. friends and family gathered in the church for a very special day. Dan was in the backroom trying to get his bowtie on right when he heard a knock on the door. "Come in." He said.

The door opened and someone walked inside closing the door behind them. Dan didn't look up, he was still fiddling with the bowtie.

"God Dan, do you even know how to put on a bowtie?" The person asked.

Dan knew that voice. A voice he hasn't heard in two years. "Stacy?" He asked.

"Stop. Let me fix it, you dingus." She said. It was Stacy!

After the carnival Stacy and Lizzie decided to move into their own place. The six ran into each other often but it wasn't the same as when they all lived together. Stacy was getting places with her writing carrier but always stayed near her friends, and was rarely seen very far from Lizzie.

As Stacy fixed Dan's bowtie it was then he realized something. Something he should've said a long time ago. "I'm sorry." He said.

"What?" Stacy asked giving him a confused look.

"I said I'm sorry. All those times I pushed you down the stairs and teased you. It makes me think... why do we hate each other exactly? What did we do to deserve this, you know?" Dan explained.

Stacy chuckled, "I've been asking myself that question for years. But in any case, I forgive you. Come on we aren't supposed to be all sappy yet. You're the one getting married here, to Stampy no less."

"Heh yeah... How did you get that dang tie to stay in place?" Dan asked.

"After Lizzie complaining about it so many times I forced myself to learn. Now shut up and get going! The ceremony is about to start!" Stacy said.

Dan smiled. "Alright I'm going!"

~~~
The ceremony was a grand one, people nearly filling up the whole church. Of course, Stacy and Lizzie in the first row. "Stop crying," Stacy whispered, "you'll cause attention."
"I'm sorry. I always cry at weddings." Lizzie whispered back tearing up. If you saw your best friend get married to his boyfriend you would probably start to cry too.
But once the I do's where said and that fait sealing kiss was made the party after was all the rage. But who could forget Anthony smashing an empty glass on the ground and yelling, "Mazal Tov!"
(I'm a Jew I had to add that in guys)
Though some of Dan and Stampy's families where skeptical or flat out didn't approve of the marriage most of them were supportive. Music blasted and people danced, of course Stampy blowing everyone away with his 'dance'. Dan ate more cake than ever before even if Stampy kept calling him a copy cat. But the pair had to listen helplessly as their friends, family, and god forbid parents made speeches about them.
The first friend up to speak was Sparklez in his nice and fresh tuxedo. "Ahem," he said, "when I first met Dan, I thought he was only interested in three things. Music, his friends, and pretty girls. But boy was I wrong. If you were to tell me that Dan was gay three years ago I would've never believed you, but now it's as real as my own two feet. I heard this man went through great lengths to be with Stampy. He beat up a drug dealer with his own two fists I bet ya! What a guy!" Sparklez bowed (he was probably drunk) and people clapped and we went to sit down.
After a long line of speeches it was finally Stacy turn to walk up to the mic. "Some people say I talk too much so I'll just keep this short," Stacy said specifically looking as Lizzie while she said that, "over the past four years I've had my own personal problems, one of them being Dan. He made himself my personal problem. I thought he cared about nothing but himself... and I'm still partially correct. I never understood why I hated him so much and I never had it in me to forgive him. Not until today at least. It's still hard to believe that they actually got together but here we are. Congrats you two, I hope you'll always be satisfied."
"Aw! Stacy you're too sweet sometimes." Dan admitted.
"Sometimes? She's always sweet to me!" Stampy said.
"Well you didn't push her down the stairs..." Dan also admitted.
"Speaking of stairs. Dan you still owe me money for my health insurance." Stacy joked. Though not everyone got the joke and only Dan and Stacy laughed, it was still all in good faith.
~~~

It was about ten months since Dan and Stampy where officially married. And so far everything was alright, Dan and Stampy eventually moved out and bought their own house, while Stacy and Lizzie moved onto their own little farm out west. Leaving Anthony and Sparklez with the house to themselves. Trust me, they found new roommates to keep Anthony busy.

It was around autumn time when Dan and Stampy decided to spend the week over at their friends farm. Of course Stacy and Lizzie didn't have a problem with this, of anything they needed someone else to talk to.

Why they decided to spend a whole week at a farm and not at some place else is beyond Lizzie's comprehension. But she'll admit it was cute watching Stampy get surrounded by the stray cats and Dan was playing fetch with the sheep dog named Wink.

As Sunday evening rolled around Lizzie and Stacy decided to talk a walk through come of the fields, something they can't really do anymore.

"You know, I never realized how beautiful the moon looks when it's full." Stacy realized.

"What's more beautiful. Me, or a rock in space only lit up by the sun?" Lizzie asked.

"Is that even a question? You obviously!" Stacy answered.

Lizzie smirked, "Correct."

"Whew," Stacy sighed in relief, "But I don't like it when you get mad, you become a little tornado of emotion."

"Very funny, miss overdramatic." Lizzie joked.

"Heh, hey if you don't mind... I made a new poem recently and I thought you would want to hear it." Stacy suggested.

Lizzie rolled her eyes. "I always like listening to your poems, no matter how creepy or emotional they might be!"

"I know you do." Stacy said taking a folded piece of paper from her back pocket and unfolding it.

Two years come and go,
A story never to be told.
My friends and I all have our stories to tell,
And they got to tell them now.

I never thought that the girl down the hall would be interested in me.
Love me no less.
But here I am stuck in this amazing mess.
An amazing mess of a woman.

She cared when no one else would,
An angel I'm sure.
An angel I fell in love with,
An angel she is.

Lizzie, my dear I'm so lucky to have you.
You, Dan, and Stampy too.
Making my days a little more lighter,
And making me feel a little more brighter.

A light in the night, a spark to set a flame,
The brightest star in a million.
A angel, demon, or spirit I have no clue.
But I do know this,
That I belong with you.

Lizzie clapped and Stacy folded the paper and put it back in her back pocket. "I'm sorry..." Stacy apologized.

"What are you apologizing for? That poem was great! One of your bet I'm sure!" Lizzie beamed. She said that a lot about Stacy's poems but it never seemed to loose it's meaning.

"Not for that, I mean for this." Stacy said, grabbed Lizzie's hands and getting down on one knee.

"Oh my God..." Lizzie whispered.

"I never would've expected for things to end up like this. I thought that I would live a life of regret because I would never tell you how I felt about you. But life had other plans. It brought us together and I don't regret one minute of being with you. You make me feel things that I didn't even know where real emotions until you made me feel them. We work so well together, almost as if someone was writing the script. But we belong together. I've been waiting to ask you this for almost a year and... I guess what I'm saying is..." Stacy stopped, let go of Lizzie's hands and pulled a small box out of her other pocket.

Lizzie gasped as Stacy opened the small box to reveal a ring with a little pink jem inside of it.

"Lizzie, will you marry me?" Stacy asked.

Without a moment of hesitation Lizzie said, "Yes! For the love of all things cute yes!"

Stacy took the ring out of the box and slid it onto Lizzie's ring finger. Then getting up and being smothered with a hug and kiss by Lizzie. Right under the moon and stars with peace and quiet.

And that is the end of our story. Dan and Stampy lived together happily for the rest of their lives, Stacy and Lizzie did eventually get married, and Anthony kept Sparklez happy for years to come.

Love has some hardships, but it always comes through. That's one thing you can count on.
