YouTubers of the West Indies (Part 3)

Note: this part was going to be a part of the last chapter but it would've been so long I decided to do another part the same day I wrote the last part since I really enjoyed writing it.
Also before we start here is what the characters will be wearing...

7:29 pm
With Lizzy and Stacy

For some reason Stacy was always the first one to finish getting dressed, it's only took her about fifteen minutes to finish getting ready. But for Lizzie she took almost a solid half hour to finish her business. And what's odd is that Stacy looks like a cowboy or a plantation watcher, and Stacy already doesn't really like plantations. Finally after fifteen minutes of waiting Lizzie walked out of the room looking almost the exact same as she was earlier. A different dress sure but maybe Lizzie just decided to change completely, all Stacy did was put the dress on over her normal clothes.
The two friends and Mr Laurens Prins walked out of the mansion and made their way to the east side for this 'ball'.

8:05 pm
Stampy and Dan

The two were finally at the ball/party, both being in suits matching their favorite colors. Only one thing was blocking them from their plans... The 6 foot wall. Lucky everyone invited was entering on the other side of the small area. So they had only a few minutes to get inside before the outdoor area was packed. Stamp put down a box for them to help them climb over. For Dan it was a breeze, for Stampy not so much. He struggled for a second before landing in a bunch of plants.
Dan lended a helping hand and picked all the leaves out of Stampys clothes. But then Stampy noticed something, Dan had a little case in the shape of a violin leaned up against the wall. "Why is your violin here?" He asked a little angry that Dan wasn't following the plan.

"Oh this? I thought that I could hide it in a shrub and when one of the violinists went to eat or something I would jump in. Incase if you draw attention to yourself I'll make sure that I can focus everyone on me."

"Do you even know any classical music?" Stampy asked.

"Yes I do now go, mingle or so whatever these rich people do. And remember blend in." That was the last thing Stampy heard from Dan before he faded into the small crowd of people walking in.

8:30 pm

Finally everyone or at least most of the guests were already in the area, which made it easier for Stampy to fade into the crowd if he needed to. Just take off the hat and poof! Hidden in plain sight. And everything was going rather smoothly until Stampy saw a woman that looked like a Plantation watcher. That isn't good, because if she was what Stampy thought she was he could be caught and be kicked out, or worse charged for kidnapping and entering private property. So he made a bold move and started walking over to the woman. If he could get her to be friendly with him maybe she won't eat him out. Even if she was just wearing a costume of sorts he wasn't going to take any chances.

"Hello madam!" Stampy said, startling the woman. "Oh sorry I didn't mean to startle you." He held out his hand for a handshake which the woman accepted.

"I must say I'm impressed. From what I'm told most men kiss a womans hand not shake it."

"Well I think a handshake is a better and not sexist like kissing hands. I think women are as smart as men." Stampy beamed. Even if he just made up a line to say he agreed with himself. Although no one else would see in his opinion.

The women laughed, "I take it you are a rebel then? Most people would disagree with your statement sir."

"Sir? Who are you talking to... oh! You mean me? No I'm no sir, I'm just Mr Stampy cat at your service." He tipped his hat.

"Stacy Hinojosa, it's a pleasure to meet you." Stacy chuckled doing a curtsy, "So Mr Stampy, why is a young man like you doing at a place like this? Are you planning to 'court' someone?"

"What!" Stampy was startled, "No! I would never do that courting isn't my style. I give people respect and plan on those people to have some respect for me as well." Stampy blurted out.

"I didn't know that was a touchy subject for you, my apologies," Stacy apologized embarrassed.

Stampy wasn't one to hold onto grudges and really didn't want this woman to feel bad so to boost her spirits he ask, "May I have this dance?"

With Dan

Dan at this point was just eating and waiting. Eating to get rid of his hunger and waiting for a violinists to get up. But after awhile he started to look at the other people passing by. Some were dancing, others talking and some even laughing. But Dans eyes finally landed on  Stampy talking to someone who looked like a Plantation watcher. Talking to a Plantation watcher is tricky since they see all, so it was bold of Stampy to talk to one. A female planation watcher no less. But then people started to stare at him oh no I need to blend in more he thought. So Dan started walking around for a bit, but even that won't fool everyone forever. It's when he saw a pink haired girl sitting on a bench by herself when he thought might as well start a conversation. So Dan sat next to the woman.

Dan: Hello there

Lizzie: Evening...

Dan: Lovely night out eh?

Lizzie: Yep...

Dan: Alright lass there's something on your mind, nothing better for you than to vent out to a stranger at a ball right?

Lizzie: Fine. I just got to Kingston from England a few hours ago, but I already feel like I don't fit in...

Dan: Is it because of the hair?

Lizzie: no

Dan: Is it because you're from England and now you have to a adapt to the warm harsh life of Kingston? After awhile you'll get use to it it's not so bad. Then you get tan!

Lizzie: Not that either! Well is kind of that, but mostly that I'm almost all alone. My whole life I lived in Europe and this is different. I have next to no family here and I have no friends to talk to. I made one friend but already she left me here alone and my uncle won't even talk to me.

Dan: Well sometimes that's how it goes. My friend is always annoyed that I play the violin all the time, but it's my job I can't just abandon it and I can't abandon my friend either. Life is hard, you'll have to make big decisions. Eventually you will have to learn that lesson, you probably grew up rich while almost everyone in Kingston grew up poor. But eventually in the end you'll find your way. Umm unrelated is your friend the one that looks like a Plantation watcher?

Lizzie: a what?

Dan: I mean cowboy

Lizzie: yeah?

Dan: well then you're going to love this, come on!

Dan grabbed Lizzies arm and walked over to where everyone was dancing, and finally a violin player got up and left for a moment. He let her arm go and said, "Don't ask just watch I bet you, you'll feel better." Before Lizzie could respond Dan already got his violin and sat down where the other person sat and started playing.
And like the man said Lizzie watched.

Back to Stampy and Stacy

Stacy didn't know what to do, since nothing like this has ever happened before. And Stampy already knew Dan was playing he could recognize Dan's playing anywhere. Apparently listening to your best friend play the violin all your life makes you know when they are playing.

Stampy didn't even bother to wait for an answer. He just started doing what everyone else was doing, which caught Stacy off guard and she fell backwards dragging Stampy down with her. And Lizzie who was watching the whole time was laughing non stop, tears rolling down her eyes. People stared but quick went back to whatever they were doing in the first place.

Stampy and Stacy on the other hand weren't laughing. If anything they were both bright red, if one tried to get up it would only pull the other one closer. Until Stampy grabbed his hat and finally laughed. Stacy was puzzled, "Why are you laughing?" But Stampy only continued to laugh and for whatever reason it was making her more unconformable than she already was. Eventually she managed to squirm out the the tangled mess she was in while Stampy was laughing. "What's so funny?" She asked again. This time as Stampy got up he responded trying to keep his laughter contained, "It isn't you I swear! It's just it was so ridiculous."
Stacy unamused with his answer leaned against the wall with her arms crossed while Stampy laughed all the while, until finally coming to his sense. And once again now not laughing like a hyena he asked, "May I have this dance?" And now with time to answer Stacy nodded and smiled.

The two weren't the best dancers. They may have looked rich but they didn't know how to dance like it. So on their own they just did whatever dance they wanted to and no one would judge. Maybe except Lizzie but she was still cracked up over the whole incident earlier. But then she looked at the man she talked to before, wanting to know his name at least. All she knew was that he had blue hair and was a gifted musician, to her at least.

10:10 pm

So about two hour went by and things were just getting good. Stampy and Stacy were having the time of their lives, dancing and talking about things of interest. Dan was playing his heart out, which annoyed the other musicians. And Lizzie decided to open up a little, she started talking to a man who kept calling himself 'Captain Sparkles'.

But all good things have to end and the musician that Dan took place for came back and he was furious. Stopping the whole piece the band was playing just to yell at Dan. And that was a shame not only for the people listening to the music but to the people dancing to it because they had no idea what to do next. Like Stampy and Stacy who went for another round of dancing. Stampy litteraly froze and was about to fall on Stacy again luckily this time she caught him.
Sparkles started to back out of it since he was close enough to hear the yelling so he made up a lie that he had to leave, Lizzie didn't really care.

10:45 pm

Dan and the musician finally came up with a compromise, and Dan was just about ready to leave. Violin packed and all when suddenly a bunch of farm animals (mostly chickens) were running through the ball. The women screamed, the men were yelling, it was chaos. Stampy jumped into Stacy's arms like a coward but then he remembered the plan falling out of Stacy's arms remembering.

Stampy: oh no...

Stacy: Stampy are you okay?

Stampy: I'm fine! I just need to go do something! Uhh help round up the animals!

Stacy: I'll help-

Stampy: No! I mean uhh no you get people out of here before someone gets hurt. I'll be right back!
And then Stampy ran toward a hut behind the walled area, as he passed the stables he noticed the animals were missing. So someone freed them but who? When he got to the hut he saw it was already opened and someone was inside trying to free the shackles on the slaves. Stampy not caring about the person also started to attempt to break the shackles. Eventually in the darkness he found a key and started unlocking the shackles. No one had to say anything, the slaves knew what to do and ran for freedom.

When Stampy walked out of the hut and in the moonlight the other person turned out to be Sparkles himself. Neither of them questioned it and they didn't need to, they did something great and it was worth it. But then Dan, Lizzie and Stacy showed up.

Dan: That. Was. Amazing!

Lizzie: Wait what's going on?

Stacy: no idea Lizzie... No idea

Stampy: I can explain-

Sparkles: Actually let me explain, you see I over heard Stampy and Dans plan to crash the party. But they weren't trying to ruin anything they just wanted to free the slaves out back. So I waited to see if they would do it, and when they didn't I waited for that violin guy to wake up from his nap and get all cranky for me to leave. And while everyone was focusing on the argument I managed to free the farm animals which ran all over the place so while everyone was distracted I could free the Africans. Then Stampy showed up, found the key and let the slaves go free. I must say I'm proud of me! And Stampy of course...

Lizzie: So all this time you three were trying to ruin the rich man ball?

Stacy: It had a name?

Dan: Yeah basically, but we did get side tracked... Stampy

Stampy: What did I do?

Dan: You kept talking to that Plantation watcher lady all night! She could rat us out!

Stacy: I'm not a planation watcher! I don't even know what that is!

Lizzie: oh right I forgot you were a colonist...

Sparkles: can we stopped getting sidetracked! I don't care if Stampy and Stacy were acting cute and if Dan was a really good musician, we need to get out of here before the find us!

And thanks to all of Sparkles yelling they were found instantly. Five people, now criminals. You see slaves are like private property, so they just messed with private property. There was nowhere else to go, the only way they would get out of this without being arrested is if they split up. So Sparkles taking the lead yelled, "Scatter!" And everyone ran in different directions. Sparkles went North to the woods, Dan picked up Lizzie and ran west dodging the British soldiers and Stampy grabbed Stacy's hand and ran South towards the dock.

To be continued...
