Clash
"You can't beat me at easily!" Jesse yelled
Clank
"Nice try!" I yelled back.
Clunk
"Shih tzus..." I grumbled, trying to hide the curse word I wanted to use.

I watched as my sword broke in two and the blade hit the grass. It wasn't the sword I normally used but it was my spare... all those hours enchanting. Wasted!

"Sorry Petra." Jesse apologized. We trained together a lot, but lately we've been using our arguments as a reason to train. Which happened a lot, it was almost a daily routine now. Sometimes Jesse would try to sneak attack me, other times I would put steak under Jesse's pillow and he would freak out because he thought it was Ruben.

Sure at first it was pranks but then it became more violent. Now we're like frienemies. Friends and enemies if that makes sense.

For a second I stared at my back up sword Mr. Butter. Until Jesse said, "I'm really sorry Petra. How about we stop for today?" Before I could answer Jesse already put his sword away and was leaving. I picked up the blade of Mr. Butter and started walking into beacon town.

After I left for some adventuring I came back to beacon town only for it to see it grow more and more. So many people as well, old faces and new. Nell, Axel, Olivia, Radar, Jesse. Out of all of them Jesse changed the most. I don't know why but he seems more... playful. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Sometime it's a good thing, but other times it gets out of hand.
And the whole time I've been back I've only seen Lukas a few times. I get that he's a famous writer now but it almost seems if he's avoiding me. Or maybe I'm just avoiding him? I'm probably thinking too much into it, we're both busy people.

I walk around the town which at this point it almost looks like a city. Animals walking nonchalantly in the streets, people building, and parrots seem to be on almost everywhere. Maybe that's why it's the towns national bird? Like how the pig is the town's national animal.

Walking around some more I remember more things that happened way back when. Ender con, Romeo, leaving for the first time. So many memories. Hey. Did you know that Stacy and Stampy are together now? Shocking right? And the Blazerods came back to beacon town, but they're nice now. Yeah weird right?
(Ha did you actually think I was going to have a one-shot without StacyCat in it? Do you know who I am?)

I was about to get to the nearest place I knew with an anvil but then I bumped into someone. It was Lukas. "Ah! S-sorry!" He stammered. He was so cute when he did that.

I just rolled my eyes. "It's fine Lukas. How are you? We don't really talk anymore."

"The usual. Book stuff. Writing stuff. We should hang out more often! Uhh... What's with the blade there? It seems to be a little... broken." Lukas asked.

"Oh yeah. Jesse and I where training again and he broke my back up sword. Rest in pieces Mr. Butter." I exaggerated that last part a little.

Lukas always seemed to love asking questions. Because he asked, "What happened to Mrs. Butter?"

"Jesse doesn't deserve to be attack on by Mrs. Butter. So she's at home." It's true. Jesse didn't deserve it.

Lukas gasped, "Oh no... So Mrs. Butter is a widow!"

I laughed for a second, "Not yet she's not! Quick doctor! We must get this sword to the nearest anvil ASAP!"

"There's no time to waste nurse!" Lukas shouted. Not breaking character he grabbed my hand and we rushed towards the nearest blacksmith, broke down the door and rushed towards the anvil. Who knew Lukas was such a good actor?

"Live damnit live!" Lukas said, attaching the blade to the handle.

"He's not gonna make it!" I shouted.

"He'll live! He has to live! Nurse! Get me some tape!"

After a long and suspenseful five minutes Lukas held the sword in his hands. "He lives!"

"Doctor it's a miracle!" I cried. Not litteraly but I felt like I wanted to.

We laughed for a moment and Lukas gave Mr. Butter back to me. "Thanks Lukas," I said.

Lukas smiled. "You're welcome. It was nothing, if anything it was fun!"

Without another word I kissed Lukas on the cheek and left. Doctor Lukas saved the day.
