Catastrophe

Plot requested by @Nix7303 and @Ultra_Serendipity

___

It was that time of year again. The Order of the Stone was the returning to Beacontown to spend some time together after not seeing each other for months.

Jesse was being Jesse, over-preparing the entire thing. She and Radar spent the days before, cleaning every nook and cranny of the order hall, dusting down the valuable treasures in the treasure hall. Jesse even tried her hand at baking cookies for them... which she ended up burning to a crisp.

The first one to arrive was Lukas. He had stepped through the gates, all of a sudden getting hit by an overall-wearing bullet. Knocking him off his feet and into the dust, Jesse hugging the living daylights out of him.

Later that same day, Olivia arrived. She received a slightly calmer greeting than Lukas, Jesse having had time to calm down from her excitement. The engineer still complained that Jesse crushed her lungs however.

Petra arrived shortly after. She tried her best to dip out of Jesse's hug, unsuccessfully. Olivia and Lukas had watched with amused expressions as Jesse chased Petra right around the entire building, before pinning her down in the backyard and giving her the well-deserved hug.

Axel arrived a few hours after Petra, huffing and panting, claiming that he nearly forgot to come. When Jesse came in for her welcoming hug, Axel had lifted her off her feet and hugged her so tightly – Jesse complained afterwards that she thought she needed x-rays to check her ribs.

It was clear that all of them were over the moon to see each other again, delighted to spend some time together. If only they knew that it would end up being one of their most thrilling get-togethers yet.

"So I thought-" Jesse said as she excitedly dragged her friends into the large treasure hall where they loved to hang out. "-After not seeing each other for so long, we should camp out in here for the night? Together?"

"Heck yeah!" Axel said excitedly, punching the air.

"So, after sleeping in caves for months, I come back here and can't even sleep on a bed?" Petra asked sarcastically, crossing her arms.

"But it's with your friends." Jesse said, holding her arms out like it was the mostly obvious thing in the world.

Petra rolled her eyes and chuckled at Jesse. They all looked around the room in awe, taking in the familiarity of everything in it. Jesse may get in there daily, but the others haven't seen the place in months.

"I don't even recognise all these." Lukas said, bending slightly down to examine a ghast tear. His ocelot he had brought along stood up against the pedestal, sniffing the tear.

"I have been up to some things while you all were gone." Jesse said, walking over. She picked up the ghast tear, turning it around in her hand. "Got this last month. I tried taking Radar to the Nether, and we killed a ghast. It went quite good, until he saw his first wither skeleton. Bolted all the way back to the portal. I found him hiding under my dining table."

Everybody laughed, as Jesse placed the ghast tear carefully back onto the pedestal.

"Oh good grief Jesse, why do you have one of those devil blocks in here?" Petra asked, stopping to examine a command block on one of the corner pedestals.

"Gift from Redstonia." Jesse said. "Olivia and Ellegaard finally cracked the code and figured out how to make them."

"Incredibly complicated and heavy on resources." Olivia said as they gathered around the command block. "Sent Jesse this one, since she's such a magnet for trouble."

"Hey!" Jesse playfully punched Olivia.

"It's really fascinating." Lukas said, reaching out and carefully stroking his hand across the command block's surface.

"Careful Lukas, it might just bite you." Petra said with a chuckle.

Lukas rolled his eyes, looking up at the redhead. "Yeah, very fun-" He started, before his hand accidentally put light pressure on a button somewhere.

There was a visible electric spark, and Lukas leaped back from the block with a yelp, clutching his hand.

"I swear I did not just summon that to happen." Petra said with wide eyes.

"What was that even?" Axel asked.

"Are you okay?" Jesse asked Lukas, carefully taking his hand and looking for any injuries.

"I think so..." He said, almost sounding a little dazed.

"What did you press?" Olivia asked, almost angrily as she leaned in, scanning the command block. "You do realise these things are incredibly dangerous, right?"

"I'm sorry." Lukas said, holding his hands up in defense. "I didn't know the buttons were so sensitive!"

"Well, he's not dead yet, so I'm assuming it wasn't anything too bad?" Petra said, earning a nudge from Jesse.

"Maybe that's enough messing with command blocks for today." She said with a light chuckle, raking a hand through her disheveled chestnut hair.

"Anybody wants a burned cookie?"

------------------------

The sun was just starting to rise outside, mostly hidden behind thick, grey clouds. It was still raining heavily, after a night of wild storming. The sky grey, filled with the occasional rumble of thunder.

The Order had been up until about midnight, filling each other in on everything that's happened in their lives, telling crazy stories and just goofing off in general.

Now as the morning loomed, everybody was fast asleep. Jesse wasn't even visible, buried deep within her sleeping bag, curled in a tight ball. Olivia was mumbling some inaudible mess about redstone in her sleep. Petra's feet were resting on her pillow, with her head at the end of her sleeping bag, completely covered. Axel was successfully drowning out the sound of the rain outside with his snoring.

Lukas was the first to start waking up. His eyelids felt heavy and reluctant to open, but a few things were bothering him from going back to sleep. Other than having a stupidly annoying headache, there was way too much noise in the room. From the hammering rain outside, to Olivia reciting her redstone supply list, to Axel's loud snoring, he could hear everything. Not even pulling his head into his sleeping bag had helped muffling any noise.

Finally deciding he's had enough, Lukas forced open his heavy eyelids, blinking a few times. He glanced around, blinking again as he tried to focus his vision. But something wasn't right...

Everything was desaturated, colours faded and no longer the same hues as they were the previous day. Anything in the distance was fuzzy, Lukas unable to see any further than he normally would.

The pedestals with the treasures towered quite high above Lukas, like they have grown overnight. Same went for the pillow beneath his head...

Already anxious, Lukas tried sitting upright only to slump right back down on his pillow. It didn't feel like he knew how to use his limbs any more.

Finally Lukas was able to shakily heave his body up on his arms, panting slightly from both concentration and panic. He looked down at his hands, immediately feeling a scream rising in his throat when he didn't see his fingers – but two, fuzzy, golden paws. Instead of his own, terrified voice, he heard a cat-like wail.

Lukas staggered out of his sleeping back in a sort of crawling maneuver. He looked back at his body, instead of seeing the t-shirt and shorts he wore to bed, he saw slick golden fur cover in splotches of black. A long spotted tail trailing behind him.

Lukas backed up until he was cornered against one of the pedestals, letting out short gasps as he stared down at his new coat of golden fur. He turned his head, his eyes meeting those in the reflection of the window pane. His own face staring back at him.

An ocelot's face.

Lukas screamed again, once more the only sound coming out being the feline-isk wail. He fell forward, getting his feet – or paws – underneath him and bolting forward. He slipped and skid on the slick, balance thrown off.

Picking himself up after properly face-planting into the tiled floor, Lukas darted out of the door, into the order hall. Diving into the first hidden spot he saw, not even realising it was beneath the couch.

He collapsed onto the carpet, breathing heavily, everything spinning. With his new feline hearing, he could hear the voices of the others back in the treasure hall.

Lukas tried murmuring out a shaken up 'oh god', only hearing a soft whimpering noise instead. As the fight or flight panic wore off, his breath started to steady.

Lukas breathed out slowly, trying to wrap his head around what has happened.

I'm an ocelot.

Lukas shook his head, blinking his eyes rapidly as if that would help him snap back to reality from this nightmare.

A shadow in the corner of his vision caught his eyes, causing him to turn around on the spot. Immediately his fur rose, his lips curling back as he hissed at the approaching figure.

He collected himself a split second after, eyes widening in panic as he realised what he had just done. He's barely had a chance to take in the fact that he had turned into an ocelot, and he was already starting to act like one!

The figure stepped up close to him, and Lukas was able to see its face in the dark. Two green eyes staring back at him, golden patterned face, long white whiskers. It was his own pet!

The ocelot tilted his head to the side as he examined Lukas, before leaning in and sniffing him. Lukas stood frozen, still as a statue. He was certain that if he didn't have a coat of fur at that moment, he would be dripping with sweat.

His heart began beating even faster when he heard a low growl coming from his pet. He pulled back, staring Lukas in the eye. Then he all of a sudden let out a startled screech, flinging around and darting out from underneath the couch – no doubt terrified by smelling his owner on another feline.

Letting out a long sigh, Lukas slouched down on the carpet, panting slightly. His head spinning with one thought.

What the hell now?

-------------------

Jesse jolted awake, at the sudden wail of some sort of cat, nearly getting tangled up in her sleeping back as she bolted upright. She heard some other exclamations of surprise around her, a 'Huh?!' from Axel, a squeal from Olivia and a sudden curse from Petra.

"What the hell was that?" Jesse asked as she finally managed to find the opening of her sleeping back, poking her head out, hair standing in all directions.

"I'd like to know the same thing." Petra said, feeling around in her mass of pillows for her bandanna and tugging it over her head to keep her hair out of her eyes.

"Probably just something outside." Olivia said groggily, fingering a string of hair out of her eyes and yawning. "Some stray cat or something.

Axel grunted, crawling right back into his sleeping bag. Jesse rolled her eyes at him, getting out of hers. Whatever it was, it had scared her awake properly. She stood up straight, stretching out her stiff body as she glanced around at all of her friends.

Axel had seemingly gone back to sleep, Petra had a murderous expression on her face, and Olivia was also following Jesse's example by getting up. Strangely enough, Lukas's sleeping bag was empty.

"Where's the book worm?" Petra asked, still looking sulky about being woken up.

"No clue." Jesse said, looking around a few times, before shrugging. "He's probably around. Knowing Lukas, he might have been up for the past hour, making breakfast."

"We might as well get up too." Olivia said, rubbing her eyes as she walked over to Axel, trying to pull him out of his sleeping bag. "I'm not keen on sleeping the day away."

"Five more minutes." Axel muttered, refusing to cooperate.

Petra got up from her sleeping bag, leaving the room as she muttered something about needing coffee. Jesse chuckled, deciding to leave 'operation wake up Axel' to Olivia. She turned around, following Petra out of the treasure hall.

Jesse glanced around the living room, subconsciously looking for Lukas. As if on cue, something peeked out from beneath the couch, slinking out from underneath.

"Hey, kitty kitty." Jesse said, holding her hand out to the ocelot. "Where's your master?"

The ocelot came running up to Jesse, purring affectionately. Completely forgetting that she had been following Petra, Jesse immediately knelt down on the carpet to stroke him. Lukas's ocelot has never been this affectionate!

He stiffened for a second as her hand touched his back, but then slightly relaxed. He raised a front paw, letting out soft meow-like whimper.

"You're so adorable!" Jesse cooed, grinning broadly. For the first time she was able to properly take in the ocelot's face... she always thought he had green eyes, but they were blue.

Shaking her head, Jesse stood up again. She smiled broadly as the ocelot followed her, trotting after her to the kitchen. She never knew her friend's pet could be this friendly if he wanted to!

Petra was leaning against the counter, already drinking her cup of coffee. She glanced up when Jesse came walking in.

"Lukas in here?" Jesse asked, glancing around the kitchen. "You should see how affectionate his ocelot is, Petra, it's being so sweet."

"Yeah, well Lukas himself seems to have evaporated into thin air." Petra said with a shrug, taking another sip of her coffee.

Jesse frowned to herself, opening the fridge and taking out some orange juice. The ocelot circled around her legs, letting out a soft wail. She looked down, smiling at him.

"Sorry, kitty, I would give you something to eat, but I'm not sure what's good for you!"

Olivia and Axel came walking into the kitchen as well, Axel dragging his feet along.

"So where is Lukas?" Olivia asked as she picked up an apple from the fruit bowl, examining it.

The ocelot at their feet let out another meow-like wail, it's tail flicking from side to side.

"I think he knows his owner's name, isn't it cute?" Jesse said, bending down to stroke the ocelot again before taking a seat at the table.

"He's probably just somewhere in the Order Hall." Petra pointed out, chugging down the rest of her coffee before placing the mug back underneath the coffee machine for a refill. "So, what are our plans for today?"

"I still want us to go on that hike, but the rain kind of cancelled that out." Jesse said. "Maybe tomorrow?"

"Yeah, then we can spend today chilling in front of the TV with popcorn?" Axel asked excitedly.

"Or in front of the fireplace in the library, with some good books!" Olivia agreed, grinning.

"Anything will be great." Jesse said excitedly. "I'm just happy to be spending time with you guys again!"

They spent most of the next 20 minutes, talking about things they could do while spending the day inside. During the whole conversation, the ocelot kept circling the table, meowing and trying to get their attention. But other than the occasional pets from Jesse – he was having no luck.

However, as the conversation died down, they began getting a bit more concerned about where Lukas had vanished off too, started to comb the Order hall, looking for him.

"It's like he vanished into thin air!" Jesse said after ten minutes of thorough searching.

"Do you think we could have gone out for some odd reason?" Petra asked.

"It's not impossible." Jesse replied thoughtfully. "I could go have a look out in town."

"In this weather?" Olivia asked.

"I mean, with a raincoat and umbrella, it's really not a big deal." Jesse pointed out. "Besides, if we're going to be spending time in front of the TV, I need to buy some popcorn. I can keep an eye out for Lukas and do that at the same time."

"We'll hang around here, in case he comes back then." Axel agreed, shoving his hands into the pockets of his jacket.

---------------------

Lukas watched in dismay as Jesse started getting her raincoat on, picking up an umbrella to go look for him. He ran up to her, wanting to try one last time to convince her that something was up. He had no idea where his own ocelot had darted off to after their encounter, but now everybody thought he was his pet!

Lukas circled Jesse again, trying to say her name only for his voice to come out in another meow. She looked down at him, once again kneeling down and gently stroking his back. As awkward as it felt at first, he had now gotten used to the touch.

"Sorry, kitty." Jesse said, starting to stroke his ears. "I don't think you're going to like it out in the rain. I'll be back later, okay? And hopefully your owner turns up soon."

Lukas longingly watched as Jesse stood up, walking to the door. She opened it, some cold gusts of winds slipping inside, before she closed it behind her again.

Lukas turned around, scanning the empty room. He had only been after Jesse so far, maybe he should try and get the attention of one of the others? He wasn't sure where they had disappeared off to, but he was intent on finding them.

Lukas walked over the Order Hall's large kitchen, peeking inside the room. Of course, Axel was in there, casually eating a bag of chips while leaning against the fridge. Okay, maybe he wasn't the best start, but Lukas wasn't going to give up so easily.

He walked over to Axel, stopping at his feet and letting out a long, wail-like sound. It was becoming easier to make these noises at will...

Axel glanced down, some chip crumbs falling down and landing on Lukas's head, which he shook off in annoyance.

"Hey, kitty." Axel said, before continuing to eat.

Lukas flicked his tail in annoyance, hating to constantly get adressed as 'kitty'.

He let out another wail, catching the big guy's attention again. Axel frowned. "You hungry, kitty? Lukas probably hasn't fed you."

Yeah, you're damn right I haven't fed me. Lukas thought to himself.

Axel pushed himself off the fridge, opening it and almost sticking his entire head inside. "What do you eat, hmm?" He muttered to himself.

Lukas sighed heavily, realising he wasn't going to get the message across. Axel pulled head head back out of the fridge, holding something. Lukas watched as he took something out of the cabinet, fiddling with it.

Axel turned back to Lukas, kneeling slightly town and all of a sudden holding an open can of sardines right in front of his nose.

"You like fish, don't you?" Axel said, encouragingly.

Lukas wrinkled his nose up at the sudden, strong smell of fish right in front of his delicate feline nose. He stepped back, shaking his head.

"No?" Axel asked in surprise. "Then I'm sorry, I don't know where Lukas keeps your kibble."

What's worse? Sardines or cat kibble? Lukas thought to himself, shuddering.

As Axel went back to eating his chips, Lukas turned around and strode back out of the kitchen. In all honest, seeing Axel eat his chips made him realise how hungry he was... not hungry enough for sardines though, that's for sure!

Lukas glanced up, his eye catching movement. There, sitting on one of the couches in the living room, was Petra. She was busy polishing her golden sword, her tongue sticking out in concentration.

Lukas trotted over to Petra, stopping beside her and looking up. She wasn't paying any attention to him. Lukas lifted his paw, making sure that his claws weren't out, before pawing at Petra's leg.

She shifted her gaze off her sword for a second, rolled her eyes and pulled her legs up onto the couch, crossing them beneath her. Of course, Petra doesn't like cats...

Come on Petra, I swear I'll buy you a new sheath for your sword if you'd just pay attention this once. Lukas thought to himself, as he backed up slightly.

He leaped up onto the couch beside Petra, almost effortlessly. Well, jumping sure was easier as a cat...

"What the hell?" Petra asked, raising an eyebrow. "Get lost, will you?"

Lukas purred gently, trying to sound affectionate as he put his paw out onto her arm.

Petra stared at him for a few seconds, before reaching out her hand. Was Petra about to pet him? Was this success?

But instead she gave Lukas a light shove right off the couch.

Forget it, you're not getting that new sheath. Lukas thought in annoyance, shaking himself as he looked up at the redhead who was still shining her sword.

He really wished Jesse didn't have to be the one to go out. Maybe he should try and find Olivia.

Turning away from Petra, Lukas started wondering off, wondering where the engineer could be. Their basement library perhaps?

Lukas broke into a trot, eager to get to the library and check. He hated how small his steps were as an ocelot in comparison to when he was still human!

All of a sudden Lukas stopped dead in his tracks. He craned his neck slightly, peering down the staircase that led into the library. The steps looked massive, at this size!

But Lukas could hear the crackling fireplace down there, meaning that Olivia was most likely where he thought she was. So, taking a deep breath, Lukas approached the first step.

He reached down, feeling nothing but air with his paw. That sure was quite the distance down, and it was merely one step. Lukas took a deep breath, deciding to go for it. He took a step back, before hopping down the step.

He dug his claws into the carpet to stop himself from tumbling all the way down. It was sure going to be quite the journey down... or so he thought.

Taking a deep breath, Lukas prepared himself for the hop down to the second step. And he jumped way too far.

There was too much momentum for Lukas to dig in his claws, resulting in him sliding straight off the step, tumbling onto the next... and the next... and the next.

By the time Lukas came to a stop on the floor of the library, the world was properly spinning around him. What happened to the thing of cats always landing on their feet?

Lukas effortfully heaved himself onto his paws, only to slump right back down onto the carpet. He blinked a few times, before taking a deep breath and trying to stand up again. His legs dangerously wobbled beneath him, but he soon caught his balance again.

Lukas shook his head, before beginning to walk in the direction of the fire place. Sure enough, Olivia was sitting there with a book in her hands, reading.

Lukas walked over to Olivia, letting out a soft meow again. The action coming more on instinct than free will, he affectionately rubbed his head against her legs to get her attention. Olivia lowered the book, shifting slightly so she could see. She smiled when she saw Lukas.

"Hey you." She cooed. "Aren't you being a friendly one?"

Lukas purred, already feeling like he had a better start with Olivia than he did with both Axel and Petra. However Olivia suddenly did something he didn't expect.

She leaned down from the couch, carefully lifting Lukas up. He watched with wide eyes as the carpet go further and further away, before Olivia placed him on her lap.

He just sat there completely frozen and bug-eyed. Olivia gently stroked his back, constantly telling him what a handsome creature he was. Now there's a compliment he could safely say he's never had before.

Lukas's tense muscles started relaxing after about two minutes, slowly calming down. Olivia's touch was actually really nice....

Lukas could hear himself purring as he curled up on her lap, loving the feeling of her fingers running along his back. He could try and convince her later... going down those stairs was exhausting... maybe he could just have a short nap...

---------------------

Lukas's eyes lazily opened when he felt the surface beneath him move. He was so cozy and comfy, couldn't he just sleep? But then two, delicate hands wrapped below his belly, lifting him off her lap and placing him down on the couch.

Lukas raised his head, watching as Olivia stood up, placing her book down and heading in the direction of the staircase.

Then he realised what he's been doing. Why the hell had he been napping like a freaking cat, when he was supposed to try and convince his friends that he was stuck in the body of an ocelot?

Getting up from the couch, Lukas leaped down and onto the carpet. He turned in the direction of the staircase, running at it as fast as he could. He started scrambling up the steps, all of a sudden catching onto voices above him. Jesse was back!

Lukas was panting heavily by the time he reached the top of the staircase, but nonetheless he broke into a run towards the living room.

"I swear, I looked everywhere." Jesse was saying as she took off the raincoat, dripping with water. "I even checked in with Radar to hear if he's heard anything from Lukas, but nothing."

"I don't get it." Petra said, crossing her arms. "Did he just bail on us, or what?"

"It doesn't make sense, all his stuff is still here." Olivia pointed out.

"And why would he want to in the first place?" Axel added. "He seemed to be happy here yesterday."

Jesse sighed, raking her hands through her damp chestnut hair, and leaning back against the door. She was too worried about her missing friend to really care about the fact that she was cold from spending more than an hour out in the rain.

She glanced to the side, seeing the ocelot come walking right up to her. Still slightly puzzled about his sudden affectionate personality, she knelt slightly down to pet him.

"I just don't get what could have happened." She said softly, sounding close to tears.

Your command block turned me into an ocelot. Lukas thought in frustration, knowing there was no point in even trying to speak.

He looked up into Jesse's eyes, seeing such a hurt and sad look in them. Did she really think he would just up and leave them, in the middle of one of their only times together?

All of a sudden, Lukas staggered slightly on the spot, the world spinning round him crazily. He splayed out his legs slightly to keep his balance, shutting his eyes tightly.

"What's wrong with him??" He heard Jesse gasp in a slightly panicked voice.

Lukas's legs felt like they literally turned into jelly, giving way beneath him so he fell down onto his side. His head pulsed, and his entire body felt numb. He had no idea what was happening, too out of it to even begin caring.

He heard a few sudden shrieks... exclamations of shock and horror... something that sounded like a sob from Jesse... and then it all faded to black.

Lukas didn't have a clue for how long he was out. It didn't feel like he was actually sleeping, more like he's been unconscious. He slowly began to wake up again after a deep slumber. He slowly began to hear things again. The pitter-patter of rain on the roof, a hushed conversation that he couldn't make out the words off.

He was lying on his back, on a soft surface. Not quite a bed though... maybe a couch?

Something warm was resting beside him, like the body of something or somebody else. Using all his muscles, he moved his hand slightly over to it, feeling fur.

That's when Lukas realised he was using his hand! He had hands again! Was he human again?

It felt like it took every ounce of Lukas's energy to pry open his heavy eyelids. He squinted slightly up, barely able to make out anything at first. But after a few blinks, his vision sharpened, and he realised he was in fact looking up at the ceiling of the livingroom.

Lukas turned his head to the left slightly, his eyes landing on the fuzzy ball of fur beneath his hand. It was his pet ocelot, curled up against him and soundly sleeping.

Lukas turned his head over to the other side, his eyes finally landing on his friends. They were standing a little bit away from him, talking in a small huddle.

Everybody had their backs turned in his direction, facing Jesse who was the only one facing towards him. It was mere seconds before her eyes caught his.

"He's awake!" Jesse gasped, practically shoving past her other friends to run over to Lukas.

"Are you okay, are you even properly awake?" Jesse immediately rambled once she got to his side, the others coming up behind her quickly.

"I'm awake." Lukas said, finding his voice hoarse and faint. "Just... tired."

"You know what happened, right?" Olivia asked from behind Jesse.

"Believe me, I do." Lukas said, accepting Jesse's help to sit upright on the couch.

"You gave me a flipping heart attack!" Jesse exclaimed, throwing her hands into the air. "I thought you literally just left us!"

"You know I would never do that." Lukas said, giving Jesse the biggest smile he could possibly muster. Which wasn't all that big. "How long have I been out?"

He expected Jesse to say something like 24 hours, or crazy like that. He was quite surprised when she said only about five minutes.

"I've contacted Ellegaard." Olivia said. "Whatever happened to you, it must be because of whatever you pressed on the command block yesterday. She'll get back to me soon enough, and then I can see about reversing what happened to you. Before it happens again."

"Well thank the lord, because I don't want a repeat of today." Lukas said glumly, raking his hand through his hair.

"I can't believe it was you all this time!" Jesse said, letting out a slightly strained chuckle.

"I don't think I've ever been called 'cute' so much in one day." Lukas said, causing Jesse to immediately turn bright red. He glanced over at the overs. "And Petra, geez, I thought we were friends?" He joked slightly.

"I'm not even going to argue with that one." Petra just replied bluntly, crossing her arms. Her face softened slightly, the hint of a smile showing. "I'm glad you didn't run off though. Was starting to think you actually abandoned us."

"Me too." Jesse said, placing an arm around his shoulders. "It's great to have you back."

"And even though I technically never left, it's good to be back." Lukas added, hugging Jesse back.

Soon he felt three more pairs of arms wrap around the two of them. He let out a contented sigh, closing his tired eyes as a smile appeared on his face.

As much of a catastrophe this was, it reminded him just how much the five of them meant to each other.

___

I swear I didn't realise that the title was actually a pun, until after I've chosen it XD

SO, this happened!

I mentioned in the "Things you didn't know about this book" part in SBTL, that I think it would have been fun to see Lukas as an ocelot, like Petra was a wolf. And then I got the request to write it as a one shot!
I was debating on setting in the world of SBTL, but then eventually decided nah, I don't want them to be under the pressure of fighting some mysterious hooded maniac.

At first this was really just meant to be a little fun spin-off, but it came out longer and in fact deeper than I originally intended. 5000 words, holy heck, what.

Also sorry if the ending is a little... meh xD I was so focused on planning out all the struggles of Lukas trying to convince his friends that it is actually him, I never really thought about how it was all going to go down in the end.

I am over all quite happy with how this came out. It was a real blast to write! I hope you guys enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it!

Feel free to leave me more requests, whether they're actual plot lines, one word prompts or sequels to previous one shots I have done!

(Also forgot to put this at the end of the previous one shot, whoops)

Current amount of pending requests:
