No one's Pov:

A red car made passed a sign in which said "Welcome to Boomtown! Leave now if you want to live!"  The orange flaming hair girl known as Petra saw the sign and nervousness and a hint of fear over took her. She looked at the brown haired guy next to her who doesn't seemed bothered by anything of what the sign said.

"Jesse! Are you mad! Why are you taking us to Boomtown!" Petra whispered/yelled.

"Relax Petra. We're here to collect supplies."

"In Boomtown!? The city most known for it's highest ranks of criminal records!?"

"Petra, encase you have forgotten, Boomtown only became like that since "Magnus the rouge" took over."

"But encase you had forgotten, Boomtown is still over the hands Magnus! We'll get-"

"Not anymore." Interrupted Jesse in which caught Petra off guard.

"Huh?" Asked a confused Petra, anger fading away.

"Another closest friend of mine took care of Magnus three years ago, and he's been ruling over Boomtown with an iron fist. From what he told me the last time I saw him, which was the last month, Magnus was executed last year."

"Last year!? Why haven't I heard anything about it!?"

"I hope you haven't forgotten that Boomtown is a city for the roughest criminals in the world Petra. Whether you work for the media or the police department, they kill you at first sight. In otherwords, you'll get killed before any information leaves the city." He spoke calmly.

"B-but...W-w-won't they....?" She trailed of, not wanting any of those bloody images to come to her head.

"No. The moment Axel took over Boomtown he made sure that no one was to touch or cause any harm me and any companions I bring. Besides, there is only one rule in Boomtown in which the people living there have to obey it if they want to live there. The rule was still in place when Magnus was still around."

"The tension is killing me. What was the rule?"

"Not to cause harm or kill someone who lives there otherwise your out of the city or executed. However, if you were just a visitor, they would be after your blood and they would be fine."

Petra nodded and stayed quiet.

"I already called Axel, he's expecting us in Obsidian Tower. There he will give us a room to crash tonight and in the morning we will go to Champion city." His face suddenly shifted to an annoyed one and upon seeing Petra's questioning glare, he explained "I love the town, trust me, but I hate the current mayor. Her name is Stella and she is a pathetic spoiled brat who will do anything to get what she wants."

Petra frowned, "Wasn't she your ex before we dated?"

"Yes." He groaned, "I still have no idea on what made me date her in the first place. We didn't even last three days for crying out loud!"

Petra smirked and pecked his cheek making Jesse sigh blissfully and letting out his usual goofy smile in which caused Petra to giggle.

"So why are we going there if you hate her?"

"I called Radar and is expecting us soon. He used to work for Stella, but he got fed up with her attitude so he quit."

"So....Why are we meeting him?"

"He is letting us stay with him until we figure out what to do next. I told him we'll live with him at least two years."

"Why two years?"

"Yea, because we can't stay there forever. Your parents will be looking for you and no doubt is that pervert trying to track us down" Jesse rolled his eyes, "But even so, we need to earn some loans, find a place to live, get jobs and hide our identities. It's complicated Petra. Besides, if we're lucky we might extent the nest." He winked which cause Petra to blush while he held in his laughter.

"Shut up." She punched him.

They remained silent during the rest of the ride, the moment the car entered the city was the moment every citizen living there was watching it's every move, yet they did nothing. Petra saw them and felt more nervous than before. Jesse assured her they were fine, but even then she wouldn't stop feeling nervous. Petra saw Jesse driving them towards what seems to be the biggest building in the town. It was a miracle it was standing, because it was in bad shape and it took like it will fall in any moment.

"Well well well....What do we have here?"

The two turned around and Jesse scowled when he saw who it was. There was a male with brownish hair. He wore sunglasses, a cyan tank top and ripped jeans. He was smirking with a sicking look.

"What do you want Torquedawg?" Asked Jesse annoyed as Petra hid behind him, shaking.

"You know exactly what I want Girly!"

Jesse's frown deepened. "I am not letting you rape my girlfriend Torquedawg. And I told you before that my name ain't girly!"

"Sure it is Jesse! And you better give me the girl now if you want to live." He sneered.

"We both know that ain't going to happen Torquedawg. In case you had forgotten, you aren't allowed to touch me or any company I bring."

"Oh yeah! I beg for a differ!" Said Torquedawg as he pulled out his swift army knife.

Before Torquedawg did anything, he felt a tap on his shoulder. He turned around and gulped when he saw a big muscular guy wearing a green tank top and ripped pants with black hair glaring at him. Petra looked at him and almost squeaked at the sight of him, but when he saw Jesse smiling at her assuredly, she calmed down a bit.

"A-Axel! I swear it's not what it looks like!"

Axel raised a bored eyebrow. "Really? Because it seems like you were just about to attack my best friend...When I specifically warned you a thousand times to never touch him! I already have enough troubles with you Torquedawg! If you break either of the rules again, considered yourself out of this world!" He snarled darkly.

Torquedawg nodded quickly and gave a quick glare to Jesse before running of to who-knows-where. Axel sighed and smiled when he saw Jesse. Jesse smiled as well and made his way to Axel to give him a brotherly hug.

"Jesse! Hey man! It's been a while."

"Yeah, it has been hasn't it? Better a month than an entire year."

"That we can agree." He nodded. He noticed Petra who looked rather scared at the moment. "So...Is this the girl you told me about? Pedra was it?"

"Petra." Corrected Jesse, "And yes she's the girl."

Axel nodded and gestured for them to follow him. They entered the building and inside, it seemed rather stabled than the outside. There did they enter the throne room. There was only a throne at the end of the room, a blood hound who was currently asleep next to the throne and a pile of cash and weapons. There were some doors around the room as well.

"Here is your room. Not much but good enough for a goodnight rest." Said Axel as he pointed at a old dust door.

"Thanks Axel." Nodded Jesse.

"No problem man. I'll see you tomorrow morning."

Jesse grabbed Petra's hand and took her inside. Axel wasn't lying when he said their wasn't much. All there was was a heater, a lamp, a small television and a mattress with two pillows and a blanket.

"Seems cozy." Spoke Petra.

Jesse nodded.

Jesse sighed as he flipped the channels. There were barely any channels available and if there were, there was barely anything interesting to watch. Petra was already asleep and was snuggling on Jesse's chest. Jesse had his hand wrapped around her as he enjoyed her warm body resting on his. He sighed in frustration before he turned off the television with the remote and throwing it somewhere in the floor.. The movement caused Petra to stir.

"Hmmph....Jesse?" Asked a groggily voice.

Jesse looked at her, "Oh, did I wake you up?"

Petra simply let out a"Mmm..." before closing her eyes again, falling asleep.

Jesse chuckled at Petra before getting comfortable. Soon the darkness knocking him out.

Petra shifted a bit before blinking to see an unfamiliar ceiling with a chilly breeze. Confusion took over her mind before the memories came flashing back to her mind. She remembers everything that occurred with her parents and Aiden, the argument, running away with her lover, she still couldn't believe this was happening. The room was dark and quiet. The outside was simply as quiet as well, which seemed unusual for a dangerous place like Boomtown. She felt warmth from behind her as well as a strong arm around her waist. She heard soft snores from behind while feeling warm breath on her hair. She smiled knowing who was there.

She held in a giggle remembering how much of a heavy sleeper he was, but the giggle subsided when she felt something hard as steel poking her in her thigh. She blushed realizing what it was and she held back a moan of desire. He was asleep, obviously, but his manhood was wide awake with desire. Petra removed Jesse's hand which was still wrapped around her waist and made him roll over to his back. She discarded the blanket and made her way down towards his jeans. Jesse waved his hand to Axel as he drove away from Obsidian tower. Petra looked out the window and sighed. They were now leaving. After a goodnight sleep and a good breakfast, they gathered their supplies and were currently leaving to Champion city. She was feeling a serge of emotions covering over her. Excitement, nervousness and guilt.

Jesse noticed this and removed one of his hands from the driving wheel and placed it on her shoulder which made her look at him. Jesse simply gave her a warm smile as his eyes were still stuck on the road.

"I know this is a big step for you Petra. But trust me, everything will go well in the end."

Petra blinked and smiled at him before looking at the road.

"Champion city, here we come."
