Ivor's Pov:

My name is Ivor Lucifer. I'm the chief of the police officers. All of the criminals that had committed crimes on the city are locked up in this prison. All but one.

Her name is Harper Mortales. She is wanted for thievery. She is quite a master and others would agree. She is quiet intelligent. She hacks or sneaks over our security to get what she lays eyes on. I remembered one time when my officers managed to catch her. We locked her up in a tougher security prison where no one has ever escaped. With their lives. The next day however, she escaped. No matter how she manage to escape from everything we throw at her, my officers aren't giving up.

But I got to be honest though. I remembered when we first were face to face. She had no way to escape. How did she manage to escape you ask? Well, the answer is very simple. I let her go. Why you ask? Well, that night, she actually confessed to me that she had quite an interest on me and was doing everything within her rights to lure me to her. It worked. That night though, I can never forget nor regret.

If anybody were to find out about this, then I would lose my job and get locked up for being in love with a criminal. A forbidden love. Just like Romeo and Juliet. Only without the tragic stuff and hatred towards our families.

No one has seen Harper since then now that I think about it. No one but me that is. It has been almost three months since her last heist. So far, the rest of the officers have no traces of where she could be hiding. No one but me. You might ask why I haven't send her back to prison. But really, I have nothing to say except for this. Right now, Harper is hiding on my house and living with me.

Nothing will ever make me betray the woman I love I now love.

"Chief....You're still here?" Asked my trusty second in command as he opened the door.

"Yes. Just cleaning up before I go."

"Oh uh.....Great!"

I raised my eyebrow as I looked at him. I know Jesse more than anyone else. And I say this because I can tell by the look of his eyes something was wrong.

"Jesse, is something bothering you?"

"Well.... My wife just called and said that she needs help taking care of my son. Now don't get me wrong, i'm not quitting or so. I just want to ask if I can take a couple of days off to help her. I mean, I know that we've got a lot of work to do bu-"

"Just go Jesse." I interrupted.

"What? Really?" He asked surprised but excited as well.

"Of course. The work can wait..... Family is more important."

"T-thank you sir! I'll come back in two weeks. If that's alright with you."

"It's fine. Go and help Petra and your son." I smiled.

Jesse said his thank you's and closed the door behind him. When the door closed I let out a sad sigh and looked at a picture frame on my desk that held me and a woman next to me. My wife.

"I've already lost my family." I sighed as I looked at the window on the sky where the stars shinned.

I lost my wife five years ago. She died in childbirth when she gave birth to my daughter. She didn't survive either. I lost two important people of my life in one day and it really hit me with sorrow and pain. I was never myself after that day. Not until I met Harper anyway.

After a long drive home, I entered my apartment and shut the door before plopping on the leather chair on my living room before letting out a big sigh rubbing my tired eyes. Even if we didn't have any criminal activities, we still had a lot of paperwork to do. And it is too much paperwork that it hurts. I heard foot steps from behind me and I smiled knowing who it was. I felt her hand on my shoulder and I looked up to see Harper.

"Hey."

"Hey yourself." I chuckled.

She sat on my lap and was massaging my shoulders to get me to relax. She knows how to get me to relax on stressful days like these.

"How was work today?"

"Tiring. So much paperwork."

"Mmm....You should go to bed then."

"I guess I should. I have to wake up early tomorrow." I groaned.

Harper smiled and kissed my neck. She got off my lap and helped me up. She took me to our room and once we were inside and made sure to lock the door she helped me remove my uniform.

"Harper...."

"You work so hard.....You don't have time for me anymore.... You need a break."

"I guess I do. But I need the money Harper. To pay the bills."

"Yes, but it doesn't hurt to have a day off now does it?" She asks while she removed my shirt and placed her hand on my chest.

I sighed when I felt her hand roam around my chest. I let out a soft mewl at the feeling. She pushed me on the bed to make me sit down on the edge and she began to remove her clothing. I watched her remove her shirt slowly and when it was out of her body she discarded it on the floor with my uniform shirt.

I was so tired to do anything else. But I will never be tired to share my love to Harper. I watched her unbutton and unzip her jeans and slowly removed them down to expose her chocolate skin. She made her way towards me and and sat down on my lap to straddle me. I grabbed her hips and the both of us began making out. Our lips devoured each other hungrily while she continued to straddle our clothed sexes. We pulled away and I kissed her neck before nibbling letting out soft mewls from her mouth.

"Stop." She whispered in my ear when she pulled my head away from her ear. "You go an rest. I'll do the work tonight my chief~"

I couldn't help myself but to let out a smirk. "Go ahead show your work to the chief then.~"

She let a chuckle and I got myself comfortable on the bed so she could do the work as she says. Harper kissed my neck and slowly made her way down to my chest with a trail of kisses. Her hands made their way down to my belt and she began to unbuckle it. When they were out of the way, she pressed her lips on mine firmly and kissed me hungrily which I did the same. Her hands began to work on my pants to remove them. She unbuttoned then and unzipped the zipper when she was done. When they were out of the way, she pulled away from the kiss and pulled on the helm of my pants down my legs with me helping her by moving my hips.

She grabbed on the straps of her bra and slowly removed the bra to expose her delicious looking breasts. I can look at the corner of my eye on how wet she was down there. Harper snuggled on my chest before the tiredness got her and fell asleep. I stroke her white hair as she slept peacefully. I looked as my uniform which was in the pile of clothes in the floor and then looked at Harper. I let out a small smile and pull her closer to me before falling asleep myself.

"I'll take the day off tomorrow."
