Sorry, what? We're Breaking Up (Gaurance)

Another one everyone. But, I'm currently working on a Zanvis it just has more uh things. I got this idea after listening to this so I'm excited. So please listen to it when I say so, please. Oh, and pretend the two wrote these songs okay? We're going to also pretend everyone is okay with gay and that this could all happen so...yeah. Thanks and enjoy~.

Song Credits: Sam Tsui.

-

"Aph no that's stupid. I'm not doing it." The club was in an uproar, sweaty bodies glistening against each other in sinful movements on the large space where music was blasting at full volume.

"Come on Garroth! It would be fun!"

"No. It was a bad idea to write that stupid song in the first place. I'm not going to sing it in front of people." The blonde man argued, taking a sip of the brown bottled brew before setting back down on the glass table. The blaring lights were hurting his head enough already that he just wanted to go home.

"Garroth! It's not stupid! It's so meaningful for you two. Come on, pleaseeeee? It took Dante and Travis forever to get him to come out here. Just try and mend it...you guys are so perfect for each other." Garroth chuckled at her rant taking a glance to the brunette a few tables away. He hadn't smiled the smile that set Garroth's heart aflutter all night, just staring at the table with a serious expression that was difficult to read. The blonde felt a tug on his heart as he stared at the man he fell desperately in love with. It's over Garroth why can't you accept that? You're not Aphmau.

"Yeah...perfect. And like that stupid song could fix a snapped relationship." His heart was flinching at the words while staring at the man across the way, but it's not like he noticed.

"Yes, perfect! You broke up for a silly reason that spun out of control. I got the owner to set up the stage and gave him a copy of it!" Garroth shakily sighed, looking out on the dance floor where hot men and frisky girls danced together to some pop song smiling wildly from the intoxication. It was pathetic and he knew that, pathetic to have a feeling in the back of his mind and heart that Laurance would come back to him. If he could just explain everything, have him close again as he hugged him tightly as if he were a fragile artifact. The more their relationship came back to him, the more he wanted him back, the more he wanted the ridiculous brunette to hold him close again. They were high school sweethearts for seven years until a month ago when they broke up. However, since then their friends never stopped trying to get them to get back together because they were perfect according to everyone. Just do it Garroth, just sing the damn song. Just make an effort to get your life back together because you know you've been lost without him by your side. You cried every night the first week and a half upon realizing he wasn't laying beside you.

"F-Fine...I-I'll do it..." He muttered shyly and Aphmau stood up with a squeal, grinning brightly while she ran as fast as she could towards the owner's office in her red pumps.

Meanwhile....

"So...Laurance...he's here. Why not talk to him?" The brunette looked up with his pale blue eyes wide and his cheeks flushed a light pink. No, Laurance, you're pissed at him. It's over.

"No. He's a dirty cheating bastard."

"Laurance! He was Garroth's close friend from work!"

"The guy was getting too close to him just to be a close friend from work!"

"Harrison is a good friend of Garroth's! Garroth would never do that to you!"

"Then why did Harrison kiss my boyfriend's cheek, huh? Why was it that when I walked into that house he had his arm wrapped around my boyfriend? Want to explain that to me, Travis?" The white haired male sighed, rubbing his temple. The story was repeated the same way to Laurance everytime, but it didn't seem to matter because his heart was getting in the way of his mind.

"Travis is right Laurance. Harrison lived in another country where they do that as 'thanks' no matter who it is. It meant nothing but a thank you. You both are miserable. Hey, why don't you go sing that song you wrote. Get your feelings off your chest." Dante replied, taking a sip of his beer while staring at Laurance intently. His friend sighed, feeling like breaking down once again but when he looked to the blonde from across the way, seeing his cerulean eyes full of sorrow his heart twinged. No, Laurance. Anger and adrenaline coursed through his veins now upon remembering that evening he came home. When he set his coat on the coat rack and walked into the kitchen he saw that brunette man kissing his blonde's cheek while having his arm wrapped tightly around him. His legs dragged him out not too shortly after. In the corner of his eye, he saw his blonde, no the blonde, make his way to the stage while props were dragged onto the structure. Dante, Travis, and Zane turned to the stage to watch the setup and mentioned Laurance to stand up as well.

"Just go little Laurance. Maybe it'll fix things even if you're being a whiny bitch." The emo smirked under his mask while Laurance gave a glare at his ex-boyfriend's brother. However, Dante and Travis were cackling like witches as Laurance stormed away towards the stage. Many drunks yelled 'watch it' as he shoved them away, watching a fake pay phone be rolled onto the stage as well as a fake wall dividing the stage in half. The other half of the stage was decorated like the club with bright lights and a table with a dance floor. The pay phone half was all black except one light shining on the pay phone. People watched the stage setup curiously, wondering what the hell they were setting up for. His blue eyes watched as the blonde made way to the stage, wearing a black button-up with dark jeans and converse, damn did he look good. For fuck's sake, Laurance shut up.

"Go, Laurance! Sing telephone. It goes well with this!" A familiar shorty showed up next to Laurance, shoving him towards the stage part with the club with a mic in hand. His stomach fell into a pit of nervousness as he stared at the curious eyes from the floor. Was he actually going to sing an unprepared song with his ex? Seriously? How would this even work without preparation? He beckoned some strangers from the crowd to join him on his side of the stage, still dancing like crazed animals. The lights dimmed, now causing everyone's attention to be on the pair.

(Now)

A piano began playing causing both men to be uneasy about how this was going to work. Let's get this over with.He pulled out his phone as a prop to his ear while beginning to sing into the mic, leading, while he could hear Garroth harmonizing with him on the other side.

(Laurance, Leading): Hello, hello, baby, you called?

Cause I have got no service in the club you say? Say?

Wha-Wha-Wha-what did you say, huh?

You're breakin' up on me

Sorry I cannot hear you I'm kinda busy

(Garroth, Background): I'm at a payphone trying to call home

All of my change I spent on you

Where have the times gone

Baby, it's all wrong

Where are the plans we made for two?

The club was in awe, staring wide-eyed, especially Aphmau, Dante, Travis and Zane who thought it wasn't going to work so perfectly. Their unprepared songs match perfectly as Laurance danced around the stage with the strangers and Garroth looking emotionally broken in the payphone. Then, Garroth took the lead while Laurance's stage dimmed and his brightened.

(Garroth, Lead): I know it's hard to remember,

The people we used to be...

Even harder to picture,

That you're not here next to me.

You say it's too late to make it,

But is it too late to try?

And in our time that you wasted

(Laurance joins as a harmony) All of our bridges burned down

I've wasted my nights,

You turned out the lights

(Stop telephonin' me)

Now, I'm paralyzed

Still stuck in the time,

(I'm busy)

When we called it love

(Stop telephonin' me)

But even the sun sets in paradise

The crowd was going crazy as both men were feeling their hearts soar and fall, crying inside and smiling outside. They missed it. They missed each other. They missed how their voices matched perfectly together just as they did.

(Garroth, Leading): I'm at a payphone, trying to call home

All of my change I spent on you

Where have the times gone

Baby, it's all wrong

Where are the plans we made for two?

(Laurance, Background): Stop callin', stop callin'

I don't wanna think anymore

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

Stop callin', stop callin'

I don't wanna talk anymore

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

(Garroth, Leading): If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

I would still be holding you like this

But All those fairytales are full of it

Another stupid love song, I'll be sick

(Laurance, Background): Call all you want, but there's no one home

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Out in the club, and I'm sipping that bub

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Call all you want, but there's no one home

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Out in the club, and I'm sipping that bub

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Laurance danced around the stage, only stopping once in awhile to focus on his singing. However, Garroth stood patiently in the payphone making wild gesticulations to express his feelings through the song.

(Garroth, Lead): Oh, you turned your back on tomorrow

'Cause you forgot yesterday.

I gave you my love to borrow,

But you just gave it away.

You can't expect me to be fine,

I don't expect you to care

I know I've said it before but

(Laurance joins as a harmony) All of our bridges burned down

I've wasted my nights,

You turned out the lights

(Stop telephonin' me)

Now, I'm paralyzed

Still stuck in the time,

(I'm busy)

When we called it love

(Stop telephonin' me)

But even the sun sets in paradise

(Garroth, Leading): I'm at a payphone, trying to call home

All of my change I spent on you

Where have the times gone

Baby, it's all wrong

Where are the plans we made for two?

(Laurance, Background): Stop callin', stop callin'

I don't wanna think anymore

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

Stop callin', stop callin'

I don't wanna talk anymore

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor

(Garroth, Leading): If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

I would still be holding you like this

But All those fairytales are full of it

Another stupid love song, I'll be sick

(Laurance, Background): Call all you want, but there's no one home

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Out in the club, and I'm sipping that bub

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Call all you want, but there's no one home

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Out in the club, and I'm sipping that bub

And you're not gonna reach my telephone

Then, Garroth's side dimmed and Laurance's brightened as Laurance responded in the song, tears brimming at this eyes.

(Laurance, Solo):  It's not that I don't like you

I'm just at a party

And I am sick and tired of my phone r-ringing

Sometimes I feel like I live in Grand Central Station

Tonight I'm not taking no calls

'Cause I'll be dancin'

Dancin'

Suddenly, out of nowhere a new voice appeared that belonged to the one and only Travis, now dancing around the stage while singing the hit single Call Me Maybe. Dante and Zane groaning as they ran towards the stage to drag him off. However, Laurance went with it and sang background.

(Travis): Hey, I just met you

And this is crazy

(Tonight I'm not taking no calls 'cause I'll be dancing)

But here's my number

So call me, maybe

It's hard to look right

(Stop telephonin' me, stop telephonin' me)

At you baby

But here's my number

Travis gave some slips of papers to people as he walked on Laurance's stage and singing with Garroth who joined in.

(Garroth):

If "Happy Ever After" did exist,

I would still be holding you like this

But All those fairytales are full of it

Another stupid love song, I'll be sick

(Travis and Laurance:) Before you came into my life

I missed you so bad

Before you came into my life

I missed you so so bad

And you're not gonna reach my telephone)

Travis was dragged off the stage to allow the pair to end their duet. The eyes of those who knew what it was truly about were brimming with tears as Garroth began singing softly to stifle any sobs threatening to escape.

(Garroth): I'm at a payphone, trying to call home

All of my change I spent on you

Where have the times gone

Baby, it's all wrong

Where are the plans we made for two?

I left my head and my heart on the dancefloor...

The room went silent, the only sounds that of the breathing of the pair singing. The club before was made into a room of excitement and anticipation as the pair lit up the stage with an explosion of love and heart-wrenching emotion. Garroth and Laurance looked to the drunken and high audience worried it was as bad as they anticipated, but a few claps turned into the whole crowd clapping as loud as they could while 'whoops' 'woo's' and whistles of approval. On the other side of the wall, Garroth fell onto his knees sobbing into his palms because the overwhelming emotions were consuming him in a tidal wave. Aphmau ran up the stage with some other workers, removing the wall from the stage so the former couple now felt as if they were on one stage instead of by themselves. Laurance was stifling his sobs with his left hand covering his mouth while his face contained a scarlet face with a river of tears streaming down it.

The clapping and boisterous cheers fainted as the audience waited expectantly for the sobbing men to run into each other's arms or well for anything to happen. Nothing happened however, they just sobbed into their palms causing the crowd to begin to worry.

After a few moments, very silent moments, Laurance made slow and shaky moments towards the sobbing blonde man on his knees. The tears were still stained on his cheeks, some fighting to return once again but Laurance fought them back, now gradually landing on his knees beside him. Shakily, he took a deep breath while staring down at the man who's back was rising and falling unsteadily while his champagne hair was stained with sweat.

"...I...Garroth..." He heard the blonde gasp a little for he didn't notice Laurance was next to him and it felt nice to hear his name from the brunette's lips once again. "......Love......" The nickname, no his nickname, was said quieter so only he could hear it, causing him to sob even more. Damn, this was embarrassing as hell. "...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry...I'm just so so sorry...so sorry. I'm irrational and stupid. I made a stupid assumption and fought you when I shouldn't have...I'm so sorry love..." The tears returned to the brunette's cheeks as they streamed down his cheeks. He just missed Garroth so damn much. Ignoring him for two months was too much and he was finally paying the toll. The man was too important to him to officially leave his life forever, just hopefully  Garroth felt the same way.

The blonde's head tilted upwards, their eyes meeting. Cerulean met pale blue causing Laurance to gulp in nervousness because those damn eyes were so alluring and powerful. How is it even humane to have eyes that color?

"L-L-L-Laurance...I..." He choked a sob, gaining his high school title of 'Stutter King' once again. "I-I'm so...so....sorry. How did t-this happen...? I just....I...I...just..." The words wouldn't come out, they just fell back into the frog in his throat so he covered his face because of the embarrassment he felt. A hand grasped Garroth's pale, porcelain cheek, caressing it softly while Laurance's baby blues stared into his soul, giving him every ounce of forgiveness he had.

"Shh...baby it's okay...we're okay. Come here." The blonde complied, grasping the brunette as tightly as their bodies would allow and taking in his familiar vanilla scent once more. Laurance wrapped his own arms around his lover's back holding the man as if he were a fragile artifact in a museum. The crowd roar, some sensitive one's crying at the scene. Aphmau was sobbing loudly into Zane's shoulder who himself was resisting the urge to feel an ounce of emotion.

"I'M NOT OKAY." She exclaimed before returning to her sobbing.

"H-Hey, Prince..." Laurance grinned wildly at their secret nickname, shutting his eyes to savor the moment.

"Hmm?"

"W-W-Will you take m-me back...?" Laurance pulled away to stare into those entrancing cerulean eyes once more, smiling softly as both of his hands reached to grab the blonde's cheeks gingerly.

"Yes, always." Garroth practically broke down once more, his heart beating rapidly against his chest as Laurance gingerly grasped his chin to tilt his head towards his. The blonde closed the distance between them, placing a chaste kiss on his lover's lips while snaking his arms around his neck. Laurance smiled internally, syncing their lips movements together like they always have because they were perfect for each other. More cries of approval roared from the crowd as the kiss continued, more passion and love being forced into it.

Reluctantly, Laurance pulled away, gazing softly at the blonde in front of him. "Do you know why I will always take you back?" The blonde's eyebrows furrowed with confusion at the question, pondering what the answer was. "Porque te amo demasiado para dejar que otra persona tome mi amor y la luz de distancia." Garroth chuckled softly, but his heart soared at the words for he actually understood the language even though it left some confused in the audience while those who did understand whispered 'aww's'.

"Laurance, Je t'aime, peu importe combien de combats et de merde qui arrive dans notre chemin." He smiled even though he knew Laurance didn't know French like he did.

"Damn you...I don't know French. Come on say it in English." Garroth smirked, leaning his lips close and hotly against Laurance's ear causing a blush to rise to his cheeks.

"I love you no matter how many fights and shit happens in our path." He pulled away to see Laurance's reaction who was feeling the familiar tears stinging at his eyes once again.

-

The pair had left the stage, earning smiles from the crowd watching them previously now heading towards their friends to thank them. Aphmau was trying to clean up her tears and makeup while Dante and Travis refused to admit they teared up.

"Guys...we can't thank you enough." Laurance started and Garroth nodded, his handing clutching onto the brunette's.

"D-Don't sweat it! You guys are too perfect." Travis exclaimed, turning his head to avoid the view of his tears.

"Y-Yeah!"

"I may hate you both but seeing you both miserable makes Aphmau upset." Garroth smiled because he knew his baby brother did care for him somewhere in that little heart of his. "Oh, I recorded the performance for you by the way because that's how nice I'm becoming. I sent it to you both." The pair nodded, thanking him greatly while heading out the club doors while mumbling their goodbyes to their friends. They walked down the cement sidewalk, the illuminated moon hanging brightly in the blanket of navy blue hanging above them.

"Garroth...?" Laurance asked softly, allowing Garroth's head to rest on his shoulder as they walked down the sidewalk under the watch of the moon. It was a temperate night, perfect.

"Hmm?"

"What's your opinion on marriage?"

Fin.

Okay, fuck my life and my emotions. I can imagine all of this and it's so hard to write it all down but oh my Irene why did this hurt me so much? I'll just sob in my corner now thanks. Ahem...anyways I hope you enjoyed and I'm working on that Zanvis one so that'll be up eventually. Thanks for reading as always lovelies!
