Avery, Scott, and Stiles were in Derek's car in the middle of a car chase as Kate was chasing them. "Faster" Scott asked them.

"Much faster" Stiles said. "And if you don't step on it I will" Avery said and Scott went faster. Stiles and Avery had looked seeing Kate behind them.

"Scott, I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here" Stiles said.

"If I go faster, I'll kill us" Scott said. "Well if you don't go any faster, they're gonna kill us" Stiles said and Scott went faster.

Stiles and Avery looked behind them no longer seeing Kate.

"They're gone" Stiles said and grabbed the radio listening in. "All unit's suspect is on foot heading into the iron works" Noah said over the radio and Scott drive that way.

"Get in" Stiles said getting in the back next to Avery and Derek quickly got in the car and Scott drove off. "What part of laying low don't you understand" Scott asked.

"I had him" Derek said. "Who the alpha" Stiles asked. "Yes, he was right in front of me before the freaking police showed up" Derek said.

"Whoa hey they're just doing their jobs" Stiles said. "Yeah, thanks to someone who decided to make me the most wanted fugitive in the entire state" Derek said glaring at Scott.

"Can we seriously get past that" Scott asked. "I made a dumb mistake I get it" Scott said. "Alright did you find him" Stiles asked and Derek stayed silent.

"Can you try to trust us for at least half a second" Scott asked. "Yeah, all of us or just him or even Avery I'll be back here" Stiles said.

"Look the last time I talked to my sister she was close to figuring something out she found two things the first was a guy named Harris" Derek said. "Harris" Avery asked.

"Our chemistry teacher" Stiles said. "Why him" Scott asked. "I don't know yet" Derek said.

"What's the second" Scott asked. "Some kind of symbol" Derek said showing the symbol. Avery and Scott looked at it, recognizing it.

"You've got to be kidding me" Avery said. "What you know what this is" Derek asked. "I've seen it on a necklace Allison's necklace" Scott said. "Yippee" Avery said sarcastically.

Scott, Stiles, and Avery were at school the next day trying to figure out how to get the necklace. "This is gonna be impossible you know" Scott said.

"Why don't you just ask her if you can borrow it" Stiles asked. "Yeah, I don't see how that will work" Avery said. "Avery is right" Scott said.

"How am I gonna do that" Scott asked. "It's easy you just say hey Allison can I borrow your necklace to see if there's anything on it that can lead me to an alpha werewolf that I need to kill in order to get back together with you" Stiles said.

"You're not helping" Scott said. "She will most likely call the cops on Scott if he said that" Avery said. "Why don't you just talk to her" Stiles asked.

"She won't talk to me what if she like only takes it off in the shower or something" Scott said.

"That's why you ease, that's why you ease back into it okay get back on the good side remind her of the good times and then you ask for the necklace" Stiles said.

"You're thinking about her in the shower aren't you" Stiles asked. "Yeah" Scott said.

"Gross, I don't need my brother to be thinking about his sex life in front of me" Avery said. "Alright stay focused okay get that necklace get the alpha get cured get Allison in that order got it" Stiles said. "Get the necklace" Scott said and they left for class.

Avery avoided Scott most of the day considering he's been too busy finding the necklace in order to get cured.

It gave Avery time to think if she would want the cure as well and truth is she didn't. She liked who she was now, and she didn't want it to change. But she knew that Scott would never understand not that she cared what he thought anyways.

After school Avery went over to Stiles to his room when she saw Derek and then Stiles came in not noticing him. "Hey Stiles" Noah called.

"Yō D-Derek" Stiles said making Avery's eyes widen and Derek motioned to the door as he ran to the door peeping in the hallway. When Avery went to sit on the bed waiting for Stiles to get rid of his dad.

Derek couldn't help but wink at Avery and she blushed making Derek smirk to himself loving the way he made his girlfriend feel.

Soon enough after Stiles got rid of his dad and closed the door, Derek pinned him to the wall. "If you say one word" Derek said. "Oh, what like you mean hey dad Derek Hale is in my room bring your gun" Stiles said.

"Yeah, that's right if I'm harboring you fugitive it's my house my rules buddy" Stiles said, and Derek let go.

But then Derek flinched at Stiles scaring him, and Stiles went to the computer. "Scott didn't get the necklace" Derek asked. "No, he's still working on it but there's something else we can try the night we were trapped at school while you and Avery were who knows where Scott sent a text to Allison asking her to meet him there" Stiles said.

"So" Derek said. "It wasn't Scott" Stiles said. "Well can you find out who sent it" Derek asked. "No not me but I think I know somebody who can" Stiles said.

"You want me to do what" Danny asked. "Trace a text" Stiles said. "I came here to do lab work that's what lab partners do" Danny said. "And we will once you trace the text" Stiles said.

"And what makes you think I know how" Danny asked. "I, I looked up your arrest report" Stiles said.

"I was 13 they dropped the charges" Danny said. "Whatever" Stiles said. "No, we're doing lab work" Danny said sitting down. "Oh my" Stiles said.

"Who's he again" Danny asked noticing Derek. "Um my cousin Miquel" Stiles said, and Avery glared at him with Derek doing the same as he looked up from the book before returning to the book.

"Is that blood on his shirt" Danny asked. "Yeah, yes well he gets these horrible nosebleeds hey Miguel" Stiles said turning to Derek as Derek and Avery both looked at him.

"I thought I told you; you could borrow one of my shirts" Stiles said.

Derek closed the book tossing it on the bed getting up taking his shirt off while looking for a shirt and Avery couldn't help but check him out.

Stiles looked back at Danny saying, "So anyway I mean we both know you have the skills to trace that text so we should probably" Stiles said.

"Uh Stiles" Derek said. "Yea" Stiles said. "This no fit" Derek told him. "Then try something else on" Stiles said and Derek looked through the dresser again.

"Sorry" Stiles said to Danny as Derek put another shirt on facing them.

"Hey that one looks pretty good huh" Stiles said. "What do you think Danny the shirt" Stiles asked noticing Danny was looking at Derek. "It's not really his color" Danny said causing Derek to take it off and look once again.

"You swing for a different team, but you still play ball don't you Danny boy" Stiles said.

"You're a horrible person" Danny said. "I know it keeps me awake at night anyway about that text" Stiles said.

"Stiles none of these fit" Derek said before he continued looking for a shirt. "I'll need the ISP, the phone number, and the exact time of text" Danny said giving in.

"There the text was sent from a computer" Danny said as they all were huddled up at the computer. "This one" Danny said pointing to it.

"Registered to that account name" Derek asked. "No, no, no, no that can't be right" Stiles said. "Stiles is right there has to be a mistake this can't be right" Avery said seeing her mom's name on the screen.

"Did you get the picture" Scott asked over the phone while Derek, Avery, and Stiles sat in Stiles's jeep.

"Yeah, I did, and it looks just like the drawing" Stiles said.

"Hey, is there something on the back of it" Derek asked. "There's gotta be something an inscription an opening something" Derek said.

"No, no, the thing's flat and no it doesn't open there's nothing in it, on it, around it, nothing" Scott said. "And where are you " Scott asked.

"You're supposed to be here you're first line man, you're not gonna play if you're not here to start" Scott said.

"I know look if you see my dad can you tell him, tell him I'll be there, I'll just be a little late okay, alright thanks" Stiles said after hearing Scott hanging up the phone.

"You're not gonna make it" Derek said. "I know" Stiles said. "And you didn't tell him about his and Avery's mom either" Derek said.

"Not till we find out the truth" Stiles said. "By the way one more thing" Derek said. "Yeah" Stiles said before Derek hit his head on the steering wheel. "What was that" Stiles started to ask.

"You know what that was for" Derek told Stiles. "Go" Derek said motioning for Stiles to go in the hospital.

"Go" Derek said seeing Stiles wasn't going and Stiles got out and went. Avery went to get out when Derek stopped her. "What are you doing" Derek asked.

"She's my mom if she's doing this, I want answers" Avery said.

"You could get hurt" Derek said. "I'm her daughter she won't hurt me" Avery said and noticed Derek hesitated.

"Derek" Avery said, and he sighed. "Fine but one more thing before you go" Derek said and gave Avery a long kiss. "I been wanting to do that all day" Derek said once he pulled away from the kiss and Avery smiled before getting out and going in the hospital.

"Yeah, we can't find her" Stiles said. "Look ask for Jennifer she's been looking after my uncle" Derek said and they did.

"He's not here he's gone Derek" Stiles said. "Stiles, Avery, get out of there right now it's him he's the alpha get out" Derek said once he realized who the alpha was and they hung up the phone turning around seeing Peter.

"You must be Stiles" Peter said to Stiles before turning to Avery. "You must be the beautiful Avery who stole my nephew's heart" Peter said.

"What are you doing here visiting hours are over" the nurse said. "You and him, you're the one who, oh my and he's, we're gonna die" Stiles said before Derek came and knocked the nurse out. "That's not nice she's my nurse" Peter said.

"She's a psychotic helping you kill people get out of the way" Derek told them and they did.

"You think I killed Laura on purpose my own family" Peter asked Derek before he tried to attack him, but Peter pinned him to the wall tossing him.

Stiles managed to get away while Avery went to help Derek, but Peter knocked her down.

Peter picked up Derek from the ground. "My mind my personality, were literally burned out of me I was being driven by pure instinct" Peter said before dropping Derek.

"You want forgiveness" Derek asked trying to attack him once again with Avery's help but Peter knocked them down.

"I want understanding do you have any idea what it was like for me during those years slowly healing cell by cell even more slowly coming back to consciousness yes becoming an alpha taking that from Laura pushed me over a plateau in the healing process I can't help that" he said, and Derek tried once again but he wasn't strong enough.

"I tried to tell you what was happening I tried to warn you" Peter said.

Derek and Avery both tried to get away from Peter as much as possible but had no such luck as Peter entered the room, they were in.

"I was going to wait for dramatic flair but" Peter said. Peter spun the mirror and his burns healed. "When you look this good why wait" Peter said facing them.

"Derek, you have to give me. a chance to explain after all we're family" Peter said. "And you Avery, I advise you to join us unless you want that best friend of yours to die" Peter said facing Avery.

"Lydia Martin right" Peter asked and Avery sighed staying put knowing he would hurt Lydia who she loves more than anything in the entire world if she didn't do as he said.
