Avery was running away from hunters who were chasing her trying to kill her when she tripped.  She was about to get up and start running again but she saw a hunter right in front of her.

She saw the hunter point a gun at her. "Please don't please" Avery begged. The hunter was about to shoot at her when a coyote got in front of Avery growling at the hunter.

The coyote started barking at the hunter seeing he wasn't backing down.

The hunter slowly backed away and Avery got up and started running but stopped hoping the coyote was okay.

Avery was about to go back to make sure the coyote was okay when the coyote joined her, and they both started running away. Avery eventually made it to the train station hoping Derek was there.

"Derek, Derek" Avery said. Derek went over to Avery after she called for him. 

"Avery hey" Derek said but stopped after seeing the look on her face and rushed to her. "What's wrong" Derek asked.

"A hunter just tried to kill me" Avery said. "What are you hurt" Derek asked checking for injuries.

"No, a coyote saved me the same one that saved me from Kate" Avery said. "They saved you" Derek asked. "Yeah, it's like it knows me" Avery said. 

"Well, I for one am glad that this coyote keeps saving you I can't imagine what I would have done if I lost you" Derek said and hugged Avery.

"So why do we need their help" Issac asked referring to Scott and Stiles. "Because it's harder to kill than I thought, and I still don't know who it is" Derek said.

"And they do" Issac asked. "Knowing my brother, the answer is most likely yes" Avery said coming in the room in Derek's shirt. "Is that Derek's shirt" Erica asked, and Avery looked.

"Maybe" Avery said, and everyone looked from Avery to Derek. "I stayed over last night after nearly getting killed okay" Avery said.

"And" Erica said. "And we had sex" Derek said. "Knew it" Erica said. "Shut up" Avery said.

"Anyways I need one of you to get on their good side" Derek said referring to Scott and Stiles. "Mm Scott or Stiles" Erica asked.

"Either," Derek said. "You know the full moon's coming up Derek" Isaac said.

"I'm aware of that" Derek told them. "Oh my, these look comfortable" Erica said holding chains which Derek took from her.

"You said you was going to teach us to change whenever we want to" Issac said.

"There hasn't been time" Derek told him. "But if you have to lock us up during the full moon that means your alone against the Argents" Issac said.

"They haven't found us" Derek said walking away. "Yet so how about we forget the Kanima" Issac said. "We can't" Derek said stopping facing them.

"There was something about the way Gerard looked at it he wasn't afraid at all I don't know what he knows or what he's planning but I'm sure about one thing we have to find it first" Derek said and Avery went towards Derek. "And we will" Avery said and Derek looked at her.

"We will I promise" Avery said and Derek smiled at her before kissing her cheek. Erica smiled at the two happy to see Avery happy with the man of her dreams.

Avery was walking looking for Lydia when she heard a fight, and she went over pulling Jackson off of Scott while everybody else watched.

"What's going on here" Harris asked as he approached everyone. "Hey enough, enough" Harris said. "What do you idiots think you're doing" Harris asked.

"Jackson calm down Mr. McCall you wanna explain yourself Stilinski" Mr. Harris asked.

"You dropped this" Avery heard some guy, tell Allison before handing it to her. "You and you actually all of you detention three o clock" Harris said making Avery glare at Scott.

Everyone walked in detention, and Avery sat next to Erica. "Oh, uh we can't be in detention together I have a restraining order against these tools" Jackson said.

"All of these tools" Mr. Harris asked. "No just us tools" Stiles said. "Fine you two over there" Mr. Harris said and they moved to a different seat.

"I have to go to the bathroom" Jackson suddenly said. "Are you alright" Mr. Harris asked. "Hey, you don't look so good" Mr. Harris said.

"I just need to get some water" Jackson said leaving the room. "No one leaves their seats" Mr. Harris said leaving and then Scott and Stiles went over to Avery and Erica.

"Hey bro what's up" Avery asked. "Stiles says you know how Jackson's parents died" Scott said to Erica.

"Maybe" Erica said. "Why do you want to know so bad" Avery asked. "We think him being the Kanima may have something to do with his parents" Stiles said.

"Wait Jackson's the Kanima" Avery asked Stiles nodded. "Talk" Scott said to Erica.

"It was a car accident now stop treating her like she's a pet dog" Avery said. "You knew" Scott asked Avery.

"Of course, I knew I'm the only McCall he can stand remember" Avery said. "Why didn't you tell us" Stiles asked. "It's not my story to tell" Avery said.

"My dad was the insurance investigator and every time he sees Jackson drive by in his Porsche, he makes some comment about the huge settlement he'll be getting when he's 18" Erica said.

"So not only is Jackson rich now but he's getting even richer at 18" Stiles said.

"Pretty much" Avery said. "There's something so deeply wrong with that" Stiles said. "You know what I could try to find the insurance report on my dad's inbox he keeps everything" Erica said looking on her laptop.

"Scott McCall please report to the principal's office" the announcer said and Scott left.

"Whoa look the dates" Stiles said. "Passengers arrived at the hospital DOA the estimated time of death 9:26 pm June 14 1995" Erica said. "Jackson's birthday is June 15th" Avery said.

Mr. Harris got ready to leave and everyone did too, but he laughed and stopped everyone.

"Oh no I'm sorry uh yes I'm leaving but none of you are you will go when you're done with the re shelving enjoy the rest of your evening" Mr. Harris said leaving and Avery went to one of the aisles with Erica.

"I really don't like him" Avery said and Erica smiled at Avery laughing.

"It means he was born after his mom died by c section, they had to pull him out of her dead body" Stiles told Scott and Allison.

"Where's my sister" Scott asked. "With Erica" Stiles said. "So was it an accident or not" Allison asked. "The word all over the report is inconclusive" Stiles said.

"Then his parents could have been murdered" Scott said. "If they were then it falls in line with the Kanima myth you know it seeks out and kills murders" Stiles said.

"But for Jackson or the person controlling him" Allison asked. "We have to talk to him we have to tell him" Scott said.

"He's not gonna believe" Allison said before Scott went to talk to Jackson stopping when he saw a book on the floor.

As he got closer, he saw Matt unconscious with his neck bleeding.

Once he got closer books fell and he looked glowing his eyes. "Erica, Avery" Scott said and Erica along with Avery roared seeing the Kanima going to attack Erica and Avery pushed her out of the way getting paralyzed herself.

"Avery" Erica yelled. Scott, Allison, and Stiles managed to hide while Erica bent down next to Avery, and they saw Jackson writing on the chalkboard.

"Stay out of my way or I'll kill all of you" the message on the board said.

Jackson had left through the window. Stiles noticed Avery having a seizure and he went to her.

"Whoa, hey, hey, hey, hey I think she's having a seizure" Stiles said and Scott went to them while Allison went to Matt.

"He's alive" Allison said. "Hey, we need to get her to a hospital" Stiles said.

"Derek only to Derek it's what Avery would want" Erica said. "When we get her to the hospital" Scott said. "No hospital" Erica said.

"Go" Allison said and Scott went to Allison. "I'm staying here with you" Scott said and Erica shook her head. "Forget it I'll take her myself" Erica said and picked up Avery leaving. "Erica" Stiles said.

Scott and Stiles had managed to catch up to Erica and Scott carried Avery the rest of the way to the train station.

"Hold her up" Derek said and Stiles did. "Is she dying" Stiles asked.

"She might which is why this is gonna hurt" Derek said breaking her arm and Avery screamed. "I'm sorry baby" Derek said to Avery.

"You broke her arm" Erica said. "It'll trigger the healing process I still gotta get the venom out this is where it's really gonna hurt" Derek said squeezing the venom out while Avery continued screaming and Erica had to hold back tears from seeing her in pain.

Soon the pain stopped, and Erica had tears in her eyes. Erica engaged Avery in a hug, and she hugged her back the best she could.

"You saved me" Erica said. "Always" Avery said, and Erica smiled.
