"You lost them" Derek asked Scott over the phone referring to Cora and Boyd after Scott had to save two kids from Boyd.

"Yeah, I kind of had to" Scott said. "Wasn't exactly the plan" Derek said.

"I know which is why I think that we should stick together trust me he's too strong too fast and way too angry for one person to handle we've got to do this together" Scott said.

"Look Avery and I are at the trails by the entrance to the preserve can you meet us here" Derek asked.

"Yeah, just got to drop something off first" Scott said looking at the little kids holding onto him.

Scott, Avery, and Derek were running trying to find Cora and Boyd when they found footprints. "Is it, them" Scott asked. "We're not the only ones that decided to stick together" Derek said.

"Is that gonna make it easier or harder to catch them" Scott asked. "I don't know" Derek said.

"Derek, I saw Boyd try to rip two little kids apart" Scott said. "Are they gonna do that to everyone they find" Scott asked.

"Everyone and anyone" Derek said continuing to search for the two werewolves.

Isaac landed on his feet saving a girl from being attacked by Cora. She growled at him.

Cora started to fight Issac. Isaac knocked down Cora. Before Cora could attack him again, Avery knocked her down.

Cora growled at Issac and Avery before getting back up. Cora threw Issac and Avery to the tree.

Scott arrived knocking her down. She got back up growling when she saw Derek behind her, and he growled at her while she growled back. "Not how I planned on meeting your sister by the way" Avery said to Derek.

Cora managed to get away with Isaac going after her with Derek and Avery right behind Issac. Scott was about to follow them when he saw someone.

"Are you okay" Scott asked. "What" she asked. "Are you alright" Scott asked and she nodded.

"You need to get out of here okay get out of the woods get out of here as fast as you can" Scott said and then took off.

"Are you sure" Scott asked Stiles over the phone who told Scott about the guy at the pool.

"Yep, throat ripped out blood everywhere it's like the freaking shining over here if two little twin girls come out of the woods start asking me to play with them forever and ever, I'm not gonna be surprised" Stiles said.

"Can you get a little closer to make sure it was them" Scott asked.

"Make sure it was them Scott who else is going around ripping throats out" Stiles asked. "Please just do it" Scott said.

"This doesn't make any sense public pool is all the way on the other side of the woods we haven't tracked them anywhere near there" Derek said.

"Derek, they killed someone" Scott said. "How are they moving so fast" Derek asked. "Derek" Scott said. "They can't be that fast on foot" Derek said.

"They killed someone some totally innocent kid is dead and it's our fault" Scott said.  "It's my fault" Derek said.

"No, it's not, don't blame yourself you couldn't have known this was going to happen" Avery told Derek. "Wait how are you in control" Issac asked Avery. "Beats me" Avery said.

"We need help" Scott said. "We have Isaac now" Derek said. "I mean real help" Scott said and Isaac looked offended.

"Scott don't be rude we are very lucky to have Issac's help" Avery said.

"They're too fast for us for all of us they're too strong too rabid" Scott said. "We'll catch them" Derek said.

"What happens if we do, we just gonna hold them down until the sun comes up" Issac asked. "Maybe it would be easier just to kill 'em" Derek said. "Killing them isn't the right thing to do" Scott said.

"What if it's the only thing to do if we can't even catch them what else do we do" Issac asked.

"Find someone who knows what they're doing" Scott said. "Who" Derek asked. "Someone who knows how to hunt werewolves" Scott said.

"Please tell me you're thinking about Argent and not Allison I rather not face the woman who nearly killed me" Avery said.

Argent was at his car with groceries trying to get his keys when he dropped one of the bags. "It has to be the one with the eggs" Argent said.

He opened the trunk putting the groceries in it shutting the trunk and he heard a noise as he quickly turned around pointing his gun at Scott. "Uh hi" Scott said.

Derek, Avery, and Isaac were in the car waiting as Scott talked to Argent. "Do you think this is gonna work" Issac asked. "Nope" Derek said.

"Me neither so your uh your sister" Issac said. Derek looked at him and glared at him.

"Or never yeah, yeah I'm good with never" Issac said and Derek looked at the road.

"First of all," Argent said. "Why would I care about anyone related to Derek" Argent asked.

"And second I don't know this kid Boyd I don't even know his last name" Argent said. "Boyd is his last name" Scott said.

"What's his first name" Argent asked. "Vernon" Scott said. "Eh" Argent said. "And just curious" Scott said. "Is there a reason the gun is still pointed at me" Scott asked.

"Well, there's probably some part of me that wants shoot you" Argent said. "I get that" Scott said.

Argent put his gun down putting it back in his pocket going towards Scott letting out a sigh.

"Scott, I watched my father brainwash my daughter almost turned her into a killer that world your world decimated mine my wife sister father my entire family" Argent said.

"Why would I ever step foot in it again" Argent asked. "Because people are gonna die and because you know how to catch Boyd and Cora without killing them" Scott said.

"I'm sorry I can't help you" Argent said about to leave.

"Um do you think you could do me like one little, tiny favor" Scott asked and Argent looked confused.

"Left or straight" Argent asked Scott driving. "Left sorry it's right around the corner that parking lot there yeah just a little farther up" Scott said as Argent turned left.

"Right here" Scott said, and Argent saw the dead body as he parked the car.

"Thanks again for the ride" Scott said about to get out of the car but Argent stopped him.

"They did this Boyd and uh" Argent asked. "Cora" Scott said. Argent looked at Scott. "Where's the last place you saw them" Argent asked.

Argent put down a bag of weapons bending down seeing the footprints. "Tracking them by print" Argent asked. "Trying to" Scott said.

"Well then you've been wasting your time there's only one creature on earth that can visually track footprints and that's man" Argent said getting up. "And if you're not trained like me, you have no idea that this print is Boyd's and these" Argent said. "Are Cora's" Issac said.

"No, they're yours you trampled Cora's as soon as you walked over here listen, I know the four of you are focusing half your energy on resisting your own urges under the full moon but that puts you at a severe disadvantage to Boyd and Cora who've fully given in they put the pedal to the floor where you four are barely hitting the speed limit" Argent said.

"So, what do we do" Derek asked. "Focus on your sense of smell actual wolves are known to track their prey by up to 100 miles a day by scent a trained hunter can use scent to track them if the wind is with them wolves can track a scent by a distance of two miles which means we can draw them to us or into a trap the full moon does give us one advantage they'll have a higher heat signature which makes them easier to spot with infrared" Argent said tossing Scott, Avery and Isaac a flashlight but when he went to toss Derek one it went to the ground due to Derek not going to catch it.

"Thanks, but I've got my own" Derek said and glowed his eyes for a moment.

"Show off" Avery said and Derek winked at her causing Avery to blush.

"Just remember we're not hunting wild animals underneath those impulses are three intelligent human beings don't think they can't rely on that human side it's supposed but it's there reminding them how to mask their scent how to cover their tracks how to survive" Argent said.

"When's the last time you saw your sister" Argent asked Derek.

"Not in years I thought she died in the fire" Derek said. "Do you feel like you have a lock on their scent" Argent asked and Derek shook his head.

"Scott how confident are you in your skills" Argent asked. "Honestly most of the time I'm trying not to think about all the things I can smell" Scott said.

"Alright the problem is when they breach the woods and hit the residential area once they're past the high school they're right in the middle of Beacon Hills" Argent said.

"They're not gonna kill everything they see are they" Issac asked. "No" Argent said.

"But there is a, important difference to recognize wolves hunt for food at a certain point they get full Boyd and Cora are hunting for the pleasure of the kill for some primal apex predatory satisfaction that comes from the ripping of warm bodies to bloody shreds and who knows when that need gets satiated" Argent said.

"We can't kill them" Scott said. "What if we can't catch them" Derek asked. "Then maybe we just need to contain them" Argent said.

"There's no one at the school at night is there" Argent asked. "Wanna trap them inside" Derek asked.

"If there's somewhere with a strong enough door no windows or access to the outside" Argent said.

"What about the boiler room it's just one big steel door" Issac said. "You're sure the school's empty" Argent asked Scott. "It has to be there can't be anyone there this late right" Scott asked.

"Who would wanna be at the school this late" Avery asked.

"These are ultrasonic emitters it's one of the tools we use to corral werewolves pushing them into a direction we want them to run" Argent said and turned it on.

"Gives off a high-pitched frequency that only they can hear" Argent said. "No kidding" Isaac said as he along with Scott, Avery, and Derek were covering their ears.

Argent handed the emitters to Issac, Scott, and Avery. "These are gonna drive them to the school" Derek asked.

"And then It's up to you to get them into the basement" Argent said. "Does anyone else wanna rethink the plan where we just uh kill them" Isaac asked.

"It's going to work" Scott said and they all looked at Scott. "It'll work" Scott said.  "Here's hoping" Avery said.

Derek and Avery stuck an emitter in the ground when they heard Peter. "And the hunted becomes the hunter" Peter said.

"You really think a few high-tech dog whistles are gonna help" Peter asked. "Oh, great my favorite psycho" Avery said. "I don't see you offering a hand" Derek said getting up.

"Personally, I'm trying to cut down on futile endeavors" Peter said.

"Cora's alive" Derek said. "I heard let's throw the reunion party when she's not an unstoppable killing machine" Peter said.

"I can stop her" Derek said. "Sure you can by killing her which happens to be the point of this little exercise Deucalion wants you to kill them he wants you to get rid of his baggage making it easier for you to join his pack the fact that it was supposed to happen in the vault and not up here out in the open doesn't change his plan it just means that Boyd and Cora are gonna kill a few innocent people first" Peter said.

"And I should just let them I should be okay with innocent people dying" Derek asked. "Unless you're okay killing your own" Peter said. "I can catch them" Derek said.

"Oh, come on how much damage can they do" Peter asked.

"So, they off a few homeless people a drunk stumbling out of a bar too late so what let Scott deal with it let him be the hero of his morally black and white world the real survivors you and I we live in the shades of gray then again even if you did kill them, you're still an alpha" Peter said and turned the emitter on.

"You can always make more werewolves" Peter said. "Sometimes I wish we could kill you again" Avery said. "I like you too" Peter said to Avery and Avery rolled her eyes.

Cora and Boyd have managed to jump over the fence heading towards the school when they saw Issac as they growled.

"Oh great" Issac said and turned around seeing the two werewolves who roared at him. Isaac went to attack when Argent pulled up as they saw and growled before taking off.

Derek extracted his claws once he saw Cora and Boyd.

But they jumped to the roof to Derek's surprise. "They're not going through the school" Scott said once he, Avery, and Argent reached Derek.

"They're going over it" Avery added. "The rear doors someone has to get them open" Argent said.

"Someone has to drive them inside" Scott said. "I'll go" Argent said. "No, I'm faster" Issac said and took off.

Boyd and Cora were running when they were covering their eyes being blinded by a bright light. They growled seeing who was doing it.

They had no choice but to run into the school and Issac closed it locking it behind them.

Issac looked up seeing Allison helped with her bow and arrow and then Allison ran off.

Boyd and Cora were running when Derek pushed Cora to the lockers before tossing her on the ground while Boyd growled at him.

Argent, Avery, and Scott shown up with Argent holding a natural phenomenon.

Cora and Boyd growled at the four of them. "Come and get us" Derek said and he, Avery, and Scott ran off with Cora and Boyd following after them.

They went to the basement as they followed them in the basement.

Cora and Boyd had their claws extracted looking for Derek, Avery, and Scott when Derek blown a fire extinguisher in their face causing them not to see and Derek, Avery and Scott looked at each other before getting out of there quickly.

As soon as they got out of there Derek closed the door locking it and Cora and Boyd tried to get out but couldn't.

They eventually stopped trying, seeing they were trapped. "Did that actually just work" Scott asked. "It worked" Derek said and let go of the door and sat in the corner relieved while Scott went to the door listening.

"What do you hear" Derek asked. "Heartbeats" Scott said.

"Both of them " Derek asked. "Actually, three of them" Scott said causing Derek and Avery to look at Scott.

"What are you doing" Scott asked Derek seeing he was heading to the door.

"Close the door behind me and keep it shut" Derek said. "You go in there alone and you're gonna either gonna kill them or they kill you" Scott said.

"That's why I'm going in alone" Derek said looking at Scott.

"I love you" Derek told Avery. "No Derek no Derek" Avery said.

"Hold her back" Derek told Scott who did. Derek went in the basement and Scott quickly locked it and when Avery tried to get it open Scott held her once again. "Derek, Derek, Derek" Avery yelled.

Jennifer saw Boyd and Cora about to attack her when Derek pushed them out of the way.

Jennifer closed the gate in front of her backing into a corner. Boyd and Cora roared at Derek, and he roared back at them. The three of them all started to fight.

Derek grabbed Boyd's hand roaring at Boyd as he weren't backing down and Boyd roared back.

Derek held Boyd and Cora back by the chest as they started clawing at him and Derek didn't fight back not wanting to hurt them.

Derek eventually fell to his knees as they continued to claw at him. Soon enough the sun had come up as Boyd and Cora fell to the ground unconscious.

Isaac, Avery, and Scott rushed into the basement seeing Cora and Boyd on the ground and Derek covered in blood.

Derek looked up breathing heavily. Avery rushed over to Derek and hugged him shaking afraid to let go. Derek hugged her back rubbing her back.

"I'm okay baby I promise" Derek told Avery. "There's a teacher I'll take care of her get them out of here" Derek said and Issac and Scott took Boyd and Cora and left.

"Go home I'll be there soon" Derek said and Avery nodded. She pulled away from the hug gave Derek a quick kiss and left.
