Stiles, Lydia, Scott, and Avery made it to the vet clinic with Scott carrying Derek. Deaton cleared off the table so Scott could lay Derek on it as he did with Lydia helping him.

"Wow" Deaton said. "Wow as I've seen this before and I know exactly what to do kind of wow cause that's the kind of wow we were hoping for" Stiles said.

"I think you might be overestimating my abilities" Deaton said.

Avery held Derek's hand seeing he was cold. "He's cold really cold" Avery said. "Do you think this is permanent" Scott asked.

"I sure hope not" Avery said. "I'm not sure a medical diagnosis is even adequate this is well beyond my experience" Deaton said.

"So, what do we do with him" Stiles asked changing the subject. "Until he wakes up probably not much it might be best to leave him with me, he'll be safe here" Deaton said.

"You mean from Kate" Stiles asked. "If she's alive and she is what you say she is she won't be able to walk past that gate" Deaton said.

"Why would she want to do this to him" Lydia asked seeing Avery worried. "Knowing Kate, it's probably for a reason that won't be any good for anyone but her" Deaton said. "And bad for everyone else" Stiles said.

"You guys should probably go home he doesn't look to be in any danger so maybe the rest of you should get some sleep it is a school night, and you all need to start taking care of your own lives again" Deaton said.

"Someone should stay with you" Scott said. "I'll stay my grades are fine despite missing a few classes" Lydia said.

"I'll stay too my grades are good too besides you know I'd never leave Derek like this" Avery said. "I'm so not okay with this" Stiles said.

"Guys go" Lydia said to Scott and Stiles "No" Stiles said. "Text us if anything happens" Scott said.

"We will" Avery said barely paying attention to them as all her attention was on Derek.

"Nope still not okay with it" Stiles said. "Not going anywhere" Stiles said when Scott dragged him.

"Alright just cause you're stronger" Stiles said as they left.

Lydia woke up the next day seeing Avery already awake and that she was currently holding Derek's hand. "How's he doing" Lydia asked. "His heart rate is alarmingly high" Deaton said.

Lydia made her way to them. "He's a lot warmer now" Avery said and Lydia looked at her giving her shoulder a squeeze comforting her.

"Avery I'm going to try something I want you to keep holding his hand if that's okay" Deaton said and she nodded.

Deaton cut Derek's arm and it healed faster than normal. "That looks like it healed really fast" Lydia said. "Unusually fast" Deaton said. "What does it mean" Lydia asked.

"I'm not sure let's try something else grab me a five-millimeter springs top drawer" Deaton said as they went to get equipment and Avery went with them to help.

Derek sat up getting off the table and Lydia, Avery, and Deaton noticed. "Derek" Lydia said. "Derek all you alright" Deaton asked.

Derek looked up glowing his eyes not recognizing them. "Derek" Lydia said. "Derek are you alright Derek" Deaton asked. Lydia was about to make her way over before Deaton and Avery stopped her.

"Wait" Deaton said. "Derek, Derek, Derek, Derek, Derek" Lydia said and Avery saw he was about to scratch Deaton, so she got in his way getting scratched herself and then he ran off.

Scott and Stiles made their way back to the clinic after Lydia filled them in on what happened.

"I don't think he's younger in body I think he's younger in mind too" Deaton said after making sure Avery healed.

"He didn't recognize either of us and he looked like he was scared out of his mind" Lydia said. "So, if you're a teenage werewolf and you're scared where do you go" Stiles asked.

"A wolf goes back to its den, but Derek lives in a loft" Scott said.

"He didn't always" Avery said. "Not when he was a teenager" Stiles said. "The Hale house" Lydia said.

"He wouldn't remember the fire it wouldn't have happened yet" Deaton said. "Hold on say you do manage to catch up to him what are you going to say to him that his whole family is dead" Lydia said.

"I guess I'm going to have to" Scott said. "Oh" Lydia said.

"They're probably right maybe you shouldn't you know at least until we figure out a way to get him back to normal" Stiles said.

"I'm not lying to my boyfriend" Avery said. "I can't lie to him" Scott said. "Okay I'll do it" Stiles said. "I don't think any of us can remember he can hear a heartbeat rising" Scott told them.

"When we find him, we tell him the truth" Scott said. "If he gets to the house first you won't have to" Deaton said.

Avery, Scott, and Stiles made it to the station. Noah saw them and turned to the deputy.

"I'll handle this" Noah told him before gesturing for the three to follow him into his office.

"I want you to be honest with me absolutely and completely honest have you been time traveling" Noah asked.

"Hang on what" Stiles said. "Because if time traveling is real, you know what I'm done I'm out you're going to be driving me to Eichen House" Noah said to Stiles. "We found him like that" Scott said.

"Where swimming in the fountain of youth" Noah asked. "No, we found him buried in a tomb of wolfsbane in an Aztec temple in Mexico underneath a church in the middle of a town that was destroyed by an earthquake" Stiles said.

"You told me you were camping" Noah said. "Camping your excuse was camping" Avery asked Stiles.

"Yeah, we were in Mexico" Stiles said. "Derek's been aged backwards he can't remember anything we just need to talk to him" Scott said.

"Yeah, well so far he's not talking to anybody" Noah said. "He'll talk to me" Scott said.

"Why would I go anywhere with you" Derek asked them. "There was an accident you lost some memory, but we can help you get it back" Scott said.

"How much memory" Derek asked. "A lot but you can trust us" Scott said bending down then looked back up glowing his eyes.

"You're an alpha okay who are you who is she she's beautiful" Derek said and Avery smiled. "And who is he who are you" Derek asked.

"Oh, we're the guys keeping you out of jail" Stiles said. "Let us help you" Scott said.

"No" Derek said. "Okay dude you almost tore apart two cops back there you need to listen to us and that starts with no fangs no claws no wolf man you got that" Stiles said.

"I'm fine as long as it's not on a full moon" Derek said. "You still have trouble with the full moon" Scott asked. "I said I'm fine" Derek said.

"Alright you coming with us or not" Stiles asked. "You want me to trust you where's my family" Derek asked.

"There was a fire and" Scott said but stopped and saw Derek on the verge of tears.

"Scott" Avery said knowing he was about to lie. "They're not here anymore they're fine just had to move out of Beacon Hills and we're going to take you to them as soon as we figure out how to get your memories back" Scott said.

"Okay" Derek said. Avery went up to Scott and slapped him and he looked surprised. Instead of saying anything Avery left with Derek to sign him out.

Avery, Stiles, and Derek made it to Scott's house going inside. "We're going to wait here for Scott we're going to sit quietly we're not going to call or talk to anyone" Stiles said.

"Do I talk to you" Derek asked. "No" Stiles said. "Do I talk to her" Derek asked. "No" Stiles said. "Stiles" Avery scolded.

"He can talk to anyone he pleases take a chill pill" Avery said.

"Who's going to talk to him" Derek asked once he saw Rafael. "Ah, are you getting taller" Stiles asked.

"Rafael" Avery said once she saw him. "You know I'm still your dad right I did raise you" Rafael said. "Oh, so now you want to act like a dad" Avery asked.

"What are you guys doing here" Rafael asked. "We're waiting for Scott" Derek said.

"Yeah, so am I we're supposed to have dinner I brought extra" Rafael said. "You guys hungry" Rafael asked.

"Yeah" Derek and Avery said. "No, we're not hungry" Stiles said.

"Speak for yourself" Avery said. "No, I'm starving" Derek said. "Neither of us are hungry thanks though" Stiles said. "Okay well if you're not hungry Stiles your friend and my daughter can still eat with us" Rafael said.

"I'm not your daughter remember you said so yourself" Avery said and Rafael sighed at her.

"What's your name" Rafael asked Derek. "Miquel" Stiles said and Avery and Derek, both gave him a look.

"Miquel really" Avery said lowly. "My cousin Miquel from Mexico so" Stiles said. "Eres native de Mexico Miquel" Rafael said.

Translation: are you a native of Mexico Miquel

"No soy nativo, si no que pase monton de tiempo alli" Derek said making Avery's eyes widen.

Translation: I'm not a native but I spend a lot of time there

"Fantastic egg roll" Rafael asked. "Yeah" Derek said going to eat with Avery behind him and he smiled at her.

Derek, Avery, Rafael, and Stiles were eating together when Rafael broke the silence. "So, uh, Miquel what did you say your last name was" Rafael asked.

"Oh, it's Juarez, Cinqua, Tiago" Stiles said making Avery shake her head.

"That's a mouthful how, do you spell it" Rafael asked Stiles and both Derek and Avery looked at Stiles.

"Phonetically" Stiles said. Derek noticed Rafael's agent badge. "Mr. McCall you're an FBI agent" Derek asked. "He's low level very low level he doesn't even have a voice" Stiles said. "So do you investigate murders" Derek asked.

"Sometimes when it's a federal crime" Rafael said. "What about fires" Derek asked.

"I wonder where Scott is shouldn't Scott be here by now, we should call Scott" Stiles said. "What kind of fires are you talking about" Rafael asked.

"Do you know anything about the Hale family" Derek asked.

Avery, Derek, and Stiles were in Scott's room as Derek pinned Stiles to the wall. "Okay, I didn't lie I omitted certain truths vital truths now that I think about it" Stiles said and Derek let Stiles go.

"I don't want to talk to you" Derek said to Stiles. "I want to talk to the alpha I'll talk to Scott" Derek said.

"Okay I'm going to go get him my phone's downstairs going to call him real, quick you stay here you don't move okay Avery come with me, don't move" Stiles said going to leave coming back to make sure he stayed.

"Don't, I thought you" Stiles said before leaving again with Avery.

Scott filled Stiles and Avery in on what Kate wanted with Derek and Stiles was still on the phone with Scott as they headed to make sure Derek was still in the bedroom.

"No, he's in your bedroom he'll be totally fine to be honest I'm starting to miss the old Derek so if you actually think that Kate's coming to find him" Stiles said and saw Kate climb out the window leaving. "You might be right" Stiles said.

Malia and Scott were backing up from the berserkers when Kira and Avery showed up with Kira swiping at them with her sword and Avery using her magic.

The berserker threw Kira next to Scott. With all of them focused on Avery going to attack her when they picked her up catching her off guard tossing her heading towards her when Derek showed up.

Derek started fighting the berserkers as they fought back.

As Derek was fighting the berserkers his face turned into older Derek before turning back as he continued fighting.

The berserkers knocked Derek down as his face turned into older Derek again.

He got back up fighting the berserkers once he was back to older Derek.

Soon enough the berserkers left, and Avery got up along with the others as Derek was still turned around as everyone was seeing his back. "Derek" Scott said.

Derek slowly turned around glowing his eyes to a golden yellow.

But at the moment Avery didn't think about it she just ran to him wrapping her arms around Derek engaging him in a hug.

Derek slowly wrapped his arms around her hugging her back burying his head in her neck. "You're okay" Derek said more worried about Avery than himself. "I'm okay" Avery said.
