Avery, Scott, Kira, Lydia, and Stiles were all at the station being questioned by Rafael McCall. "So, when did you get there" Rafael asked Stiles. "At the same time" Stiles said.

"At the same time as who" Rafael asked. "At the same time as me" Scott said.

"And me" Avery said. "By coincidence" Rafael asked. "What do you mean by coincidence" Stiles asked. 

"That's what I'm asking you the three of you arrived at the same time" Rafael said.

"Was that confidence" Rafael asked. "Are you asking me" Scott asked.

"I think he's asking me" Stiles said. "I think he's asking the both of you" Lydia said. "Okay let me answer the questions" Rafael said and Avery looked at him. 

"Let me ask the questions just so I have this completely clear Barrow was hiding in the chemistry closet at the school someone left him a coded message on the blackboard telling him to kill Kira then Barrow took Kira to a power substation and tied her up with the intent of electrocuting her which blacked out the entire town" Rafael said.

"Sounds about right" Stiles said. "How did you know he'd take her to a power station" Rafael asked. 

"Well cause, he was an electrical engineer so where else would he take her" Stiles said. "That's one of a deduction Stiles" Rafael said.

"Yeah, well what can I say I take after my pops he's in law enforcement" Stiles said and Noah started to laugh but quickly covered it up with a cough.

"Stiles just uh answer the man" Noah said. "We made a good guess" Stiles said. "What were the two of you doing" Rafael asked Scott and Kira. "Eating pizza" Scott said.

"Eating sushi" Kira said. "Eating sushi" Scott said. "Eating pizza" Kira said.

"Eating sushi and pizza" Scott and Kira both said. "You believe this" Agent McCall asked Noah. "To be honest I haven't believed a word Stiles said since he learned how to speak but I think these kids found themselves in the right place at the right time and that girl sitting there is very lucky for it" Noah said.

"Kira is that how you remember it" Rafael asked and Avery, Lydia, Stiles, and Scott all looked at her. "Yes" Kira said.

"Could I get my phone back now" Kira asked. "Sorry but no" Rafael said and Avery, Stiles, Scott, Lydia, and Kira left the office. Stiles and Lydia already left the office going home.

Avery saw Rafael heading their way and turned to Scott. "I'll see you at school" Avery said and quickly went outside.

Rafael saw Avery waiting outside and went to her. "Avery" Rafael said, and Avery sighed before facing him. "What do you want" Avery asked.

"We never got a chance to talk I wanted" Rafael said. "Yeah, I know I been avoiding you" Avery said. "Avery I'm your dad you can't avoid me" Rafael said.

"Wow, wow, wow back up now you're my dad you, kidding right" Avery said.

"Avery" Rafael said, and Avery interrupted him. "Let's get one thing clear you're here for Scott not me and don't you dare think I don't remember those lovely words to me you said those many years ago" Avery said and saw Derek pull up.

"My ride's here bye Rafael" Avery said and got in Derek's car.

Derek saw Avery upset and looked at Rafael before focusing back on Avery.

"You okay" Derek asked. "You mind if I stay with you for a little while it's okay if not, I can always stay at Lydia's or maybe Stiles's" Avery said. "No, no it's fine" Derek said.

"Avery who is that guy what happened" Derek asked. "He's my dad" Avery said and Derek glared at Rafael remembering what Avery told him what Rafael said to her those many years ago before driving off.

"No, no stop, stop" Stiles told Scott who tried to get to Kira.

"What I need to talk to her" Scott said. "No, you need to remember someone left a coded message telling Barrow to kill her" Stiles said.

"Which is why I need to talk to her" Scott said. "Scott no way until we figure out if she's just another psychotic monster that's going to start murdering everybody I vote against any and all interaction" Stiles said.

"Stiles come on now she could be completely harmless give her a chance" Avery said.

"What if she's like us" Scott asked. "That girl walked through 1.21 jigawatts of electricity she's not like you guys" Stiles said.

"Okay but that doesn't mean she's automatically evil she could have no idea what she is and is totally harmless" Avery said and left.

Scott and Avery found Kira sitting down against the wall and sat next to her.

"I don't want to talk about it" Kira said. "You don't have to" Avery said. "Want to talk about the pre-cal test on Friday" Scott asked.

"The teacher takes all the equations right out of the book" Scott said.

"Do either of you have your phone" Kira asked. "I'm going to show you something no one else has ever seen no one except for Barrow" Kira said and Scott got out his phone.

"Take a picture of me and use the flash" Kira said and Scott did, and both Scott and Avery saw the photo. "Whoa" Scott said.

"Yeah" Kira said. "What is it" Scott asked. "I don't know it started showing up a couple of months ago it only happens with the flash on, and I don't know how but Barrow knew about it he used my own phone to take pictures of me" Kira said.

"That's why you asked for it back" Scott said. "If someone sees those pictures" Kira said. "

"We need to get your phone back" Scott said. "And fast" Avery said.

Avery was with Stiles in the passenger side meeting up with Scott and Kira.

"Okay this one will get you into all of the perimeter doors, this one into the evidence room, and this one's for my father's office" Stiles said giving Scott the keys.

"You didn't steal these did you" Scott asked. "No, I cloned them using the RFID emulator" Stiles said.

"Is that worse than stealing" Scott asked. "It's smarter" Stiles said.

"Scott, can I ask you something" Kira asked. "Okay I'll just" Scott said and they stepped off while Avery and Stiles gave them their privacy. 

"They're cute together" Avery told Stiles looking at Scott and Kira

Soon enough Scott and Kira came back to them. "Okay so now almost everybody's out dealing with the blackout but there's always somebody at the front desk there's a dispatch and usually a night shift or two you guys are gonna use the service door entrance by the dumpster alright" Stiles said.

"Nobody uses it, now I'll text you if anyone comes out but Scott if you get caught, I can't help you my dad's, under investigation for an impeachment because of your dad If anything happens, I will run and leave you both for dead" Stiles told Scott.

"Got it thanks seriously dude" Scott said. "I'd ask my dad, but you know" Stiles said. "No, I know I get it" Scott said.

"Alright just uh hurry up" Stiles said. "Be careful" Avery said and Scott nodded at her before he and Kira left.

Stiles started messing with his keys while Avery stayed silent when a car pulled up and Stiles and Avery realized who it was.

Stiles texted Scott seeing Rafael get out of his car. "Come on Scott" Stiles said.

Agent McCall entered the building while Stiles unbuckled. "Okay I'm so going to regret this" Stiles said getting out leaving the car. "Wait for me" Avery said getting out following Stiles.

"Ah hey, hey wow thank god you are here oh boy thank the lord" Stiles said as he and Avery stopped Rafael from opening the door.

"What do you want Stiles" Rafael asked. "Oh jeez I was just I was thinking I should clue you in on my thinking here's my thinking I was thinking this I was thinking that Barrow right I was thinking that Barrow received the information about who to kill at the school right you know that so I was thinking maybe the person who gave him that information check this out might actually be someone at the school and that's uh my thinking" Stiles said.

"You're right" Rafael said. "I am" Stiles asked. "Yep, we uh we started looking for links between Barrow, facility, and students last night" Rafael said.

"So, you already then know that stuff" Stiles said. "Hmm" Rafael said. "You already thought of that" Stiles said.

"Your dad did" Rafael said. "Oh" Stiles said. "His one useful suggestion" Rafael said.

"You know this attitude that you have toward my dad you can dress it up to all the professional disapproval that you want but I know the real reason why you don't like him" Stiles said.

"Is that so" Rafael asked. "Yeah, because he knows something that you don't want him to know and guess what I know it too and I also know what you said to Avery" Stiles said.

"Go home Stiles there's a curfew" Rafael said. Stiles left the building going to his jeep.

Avery was about to follow when Rafael stopped her. "Avery please can we talk" Rafael asked her.

"Talk about what, what is there to talk about" Avery asked. "I'm not your daughter remember you said so yourself" Avery said and left standing next to Stiles by the jeep.

"You okay Avs" Stiles asked. "Yeah, I'm fine" Avery said. Soon enough Scott and Kira went over to Stiles and Avery.

"We did it all the pics deleted" Scott said. "That was awesome I mean terrifying completely terrifying but kind of awesome I've never done anything like that before have you" Kira asked.

"Yeah, once or twice" Stiles said. "Or a hundred" Avery said. "So, I guess I should take you home" Scott said and Avery got in the jeep with Stiles and Stiles drove off.

Avery walked in a loft and saw a party and went towards Issac. "You know Derek is going to Jill you right" Avery asked.

"I may not to hello he's a werewolf he can sense when I'm lying" Avery said.

"Please you're my friend Avery please" Issac begged.

"I'll try but if Derek finds out don't say I didn't warn you" Avery said and Isaac hugged her before letting go to find Allison while Avery started to enjoy the party.

Avery saw Lydia walking out as she followed her. "Lydia everything okay" Avery asked before noticing the creatures.

As soon as she saw them, she ran to Lydia pushing her behind her to try to protect her.

As Avery was about to attack the creature grabbed her looking deeply into her eyes before letting her drop to the floor.

"Avery" Lydia said and as she was about to go to her, she saw the same creature and was about to scream but he silenced her looking deep into her eyes before dropping her next to Avery before vanishing.

Danny and Aiden came out seeing Avery and Lydia on the ground. "Aiden over here" Danny told Aiden.

"Lydia, Avery" Danny said as Aiden made his way to Lydia and Danny made his way to Avery.

"Lydia what happened Avery" Aiden asked getting no response.

"What happened to them" Aiden asked. "I don't know but Lydia is freezing she's practically hypothermic" Danny said.

"What about Avery" Aiden asked. "She'd want us to make sure Lydia is okay first we'll come back once Lydia is we would never hear the end of it if we took Avery first instead of Lydia" Danny said and they left taking Lydia away with them.

Derek went into the building seeing Avery on the ground as he went to her. "Avery" Derek said trying to snap her out of it having no luck.

Derek broke her arm causing her to snap out of it glowing her eyes. She returned her eyes back to normal after seeing Derek.

"Derek" Avery said. "Hey, it's me" Derek said helping her stand up. "There were these guys they came out in the dark I never seen them before" Avery said.

"Are you hurt" Derek asked. "No, I'm fine" Avery said. "Good because you can explain to me why there is a party in my loft" Derek said angry.

"Okay before you get mad it wasn't my idea, I was planning on heading to bed for the night then suddenly I happen to notice a party happening" Avery said.

"And you didn't try to stop it" Derek asked. "Would you relax I'll let you take your anger out on me later" Avery said. "Come on" Derek said heading inside the loft towards the bouncer while Avery followed.

Derek tried to get past, but the bouncer stopped him. "Bro sorry the bloody Beetroot doesn't take requests" Derek nodded trying to get past again before he was stopped again.

"Bro seriously I said the DJ doesn't" The bouncer said before Derek lifted him up choking him.

"He'll take mine" Derek said before tossing him. "That was hot" Avery said and Derek smirked.

"Wait till we're alone" Derek told her before tossing the Dj table on the ground. "Get out" Derek yelled and everyone started running to leave.

Soon everyone left leaving just Derek, Aiden, Ethan, Avery, Danny, and Lydia. "Get her out of here" Aiden said. "Find Scott" Lydia told them, and Danny left with Lydia.

They all saw the creatures and soon enough Allison, Issac, Scott and Kira arrived.

"Guys they're all looking at me" Aiden told them. The creatures  took a step closer to Aiden. "Why are they all looking at me" Aiden asked them.

"Guys" Aiden asked again. Avery was the first one to stand in front of Aiden attacking them growling. She failed doing so as she was thrown to the wall as Derek saw going to fight the creature with Scott right by his side.

Derek tried to snap his neck only for it to snap back into place.

He threw Derek onto the ground along with tossing Scott to the wall. Isaac went to attack only for him to stand back once he realized that the creature had a sword.

"Somebody, do something" Allison said. "Do you want us all to die" Avery asked. "You already nearly killed me once I wouldn't be surprised if you did again like I tell everyone I don't trust you or like you" Avery said.

The creatures took Aiden looking at him deeply and then they eventually dropped him to the ground.

They then turned to Kira as Scott got up standing in front of her glowing his eyes.

He turned to look at her as she looked at him in surprise before he turned back growling. Soon enough the sun came up and they disappeared.

"What were those things" Scott asked. Derek helped Avery up who was wondering the same thing. "Your dad's 24 hours are up" Issac told Allison.
