Avery, Braeden, and Derek met up with Stiles and Liam as Braeden had to get a van safe from the full moon so Liam could go to help save Scott and Kira from Kate.

Braeden got out of the van walking towards Stiles, Malia, and Liam. "How did you get a prison transport van" Stiles asked.

"I'm a US Marshal" Braeden said. "Yeah, I just thought that was just a cover" Stiles said. Derek and Avery got out of the car walking towards Braeden, Malia, and Stiles.

"Are we really bringing him" Derek asked. "Are we really bringing him" Stiles asked back seeing Peter walking over. "Sadly so" Avery said.

"We're bringing everyone that we can and considering Scott and Kira were taken the night before a full moon we should probably get going a werewolf can't steal a true alpha's power it maybe a Naguai jaguar with the power of Tecatlipoca behind her maybe she can so if everyone is sufficiently freaked out, I say we get going" Peter said.

"Why do you care all of a sudden" Avery asked Peter suspicious. "We can't not without Lydia" Stiles said.

"What's she doing at the school anyway" Derek asked. "We got Kira's sword, but we need something with a stronger scent Lydia went to get a jacket out of her locker" Malia said. 

"Nothing" Stiles said coming back after going to try to get ahold of Lydia. "If she has a car, she can catch up to us" Braeden said. 

"No what if something happened what If she's in trouble" Stiles said. "Fine you stay you find her we're gonna go on without you" Peter said.

"Do I need to snap your neck" Avery asked Peter. "Relax" Avery told Peter. "I could call Mason he has a study group at school maybe he could look for her" Liam said. "Alright fine" Stiles said.

Stiles, Malia, Avery, Peter, Derek, Liam, and Braeden were now in their way to save Scott and Kira from Kate.

Derek just chained up Liam with handcuffs and Liam pulled on it making sure it was tight. "Okay I brought something to help you" Derek said holding out the triskelion.

"This again" Avery mumbled to herself. "This has been with my family for centuries it's a very powerful supernatural talisman we use it to teach betas how to control themselves on a full moon" Derek said giving it to Liam.

Derek had motioned to Stiles to go along with it. "Yes, it's powerful" Stiles said and Derek looked at Avery. "Really" Avery asked, and Derek gave her a look.

"Fine" Avery said and looked at Liam. "Very powerful" Avery said before glaring at Derek.

The full moon was now out, and Liam jerked his chains as Stiles jumped.

"Whatever you were gonna teach me" Liam said and his eyes glowed. "I think you better start" Liam said.

"Liam you with me we have a mantra that we use you repeat it you focus on the words it's like mediating you say the words until you feel control coming back to you" Derek said.

"Okay, okay, okay what are the words" Liam asked. "Okay look at the triskelion see the symbol" Derek asked.

"Each spiral means something" Derek said. "Alpha, beta, omega" Stiles said. "It represents the idea that we can always rise to one and fall back to another all you have to do is say the three words and with each one you tell yourself you're getting calmer more in control go ahead" Derek said.

"Alpha, beta" Liam said. "Slower" Derek said. "Alpha, beta, omega, alpha, beta, omega" Liam said.

"Good say it again remember every time you say the words, you're getting calmer" Derek said. "Alpha, beta, omega" Liam said in a deep voice.

"Derek, I don't think that powerful talisman of self-control is working" Stiles said. "Liam say it again" Derek said. "Liam" Avery said. Liam broken out of one of his chains.

"Derek" Braeden said worried about her friend. "Keep going" Derek said as Avery was helping Derek with Liam as he broke out of his other chain.

"I think we're gonna need to go a little faster" Stiles said. "Liam" Derek said. "We're almost there" Braeden said.

"Derek, I don't think alpha, beta, omega is resonating with him" Stiles said. "You know any other mantras" Derek asked. "Yeah, I do" Stiles said remembering something.

"Liam, Liam what three things cannot long be hidden" Liam asked but Liam didn't listen.

"Liam, Liam hey look at me" Avery said and Liam looked at Avery. "It's okay, it's okay repeat after me okay" Avery said.

"The sun, the moon, the truth" Liam said saying it with Avery as he got calmer.

"Okay again" Avery said. "The sun, the moon, the truth" Liam said with Avery before sitting down as he was now calm while Avery sat back next to Derek who put his arm around her. "Derek" Braeden said.

"We're okay" Derek said as Avery laid her head on Derek's shoulder. "The sun, the moon, and the truth" Liam said.

They finally arrived at La Iglesia as the van had stopped. "I can't believe I did it for a minute there I thought I was gonna tear the three of you apart" Liam said.

"Yeah, that would've made for an awkward ride home so thanks" Stiles said.

"Think you can bring the same level of control and strength inside La Iglesia" Derek asked and instead of answering Liam extracted his claws.

"Alright we might actually be able to do this" Stiles said.

Derek went to get out when a berserker grabbed him stabbing him. "Derek" Avery said running to him while Braeden shot at it until it left.

Avery looked at Derek's wound and looked at Derek teary eyed. "How bad is it" Peter asked. 

"I'm fine, I'm fine just get to Scott just find him we'll be right behind you go" Derek said. Derek saw nobody was moving.

"Go" Derek yelled and Peter and Liam left. But before Malia did, she faced Avery worried for her best friend. Avery looked up seeing Malia didn't leave.

"Malia I'll be okay I promise now go save my brother please" Avery said and Malia nodded and left.

"Hey, hey save him" Derek told Stiles before he left. "Lydia was right" Derek said. "You should go save your brother" Derek told Avery wiping her tears.

"No" Avery said. "Avery" Derek said. "Derek no I'm not leaving you" Avery said.

Braeden tossed Avery a gun who gave it to Derek. "Alright stay with me okay you hear me you stay with me" Avery said. "It's a mortal wound baby and right now I'm feeling pretty mortal" Derek said.

"No Derek no do not die on me hey, do not die on me okay I'm right here I'm not going anywhere I'm not leaving your side I promise" Avery said.

Braeden, Derek, and Avery heard growling in distance.

"Avery, I love you okay I love you but please for me save yourself I'll always be with you remember that" Derek said. Avery shook her heads as tears fell.

"Avery please for me" Derek said and Avery pecked Derek's lips before moving away from him

Avery and Braeden saw Kate and berserkers as Avery roared and Braeden shot at it. The berserker pinned Braeden to the temple. "Braeden" Avery yelled about to go over.

"Avery don't stay where you are" Braeden said and Avery did. "How much did they pay you" Kate asked. "Way more than you're worth" Braeden said.

Cars pulled up as the Calaveras, Argent, and Parrish started shooting at Kate and the berserkers. The berserker let go of Braeden and Avery started fighting the berserkers.

Avery made her way to Derek checking on him when she saw his eyes closed.

"Derek" Avery said. He opened his eyes and, looked at her. "Derek" Avery said as her voice cracked. Derek closed his eyes giving up.

"Derek" Avery said teary eyed and her eyes glowed kissing him on the lips.

"I love you" Avery said before standing up. Suddenly Avery's eyes glowed and suddenly there was wind blowing like crazy.

The Calaveras, Argent, and Parrish all looked at Avery who looked at the beserkers. Avery screamed before using all of her magic killing them.

It was quiet till Kate growled and a hunter started shooting at her as she killed him along with a few others before getting shot at again.

"They're not going down nothing's getting through that armor and I'm running out of ammo" Parrish said.

The Calaveras, Argent, Braeden, and Parrish kept shooting at the remaining berserkers left that Avery didn't kill.

"You're next Araya I'm coming to kill you next" Kate said. "Come La loba let me show you how the Calaveras die" Araya said, and Kate started walking to her but stopped when everyone heard a howl.

Braeden looked not seeing Derek but noticed Avery hasn't noticed yet.

A black wolf came out to Kate and glowed his eyes for a split moment before attacking her and Kate crawled away. The wolf transformed back to Derek and Avery had to hold back tears of joy.

"You were, you were dead" Kate said confused. "No, I was evolving something you'll never do" Derek said.

Avery saw the beserkers behind Derek going to kill him. "No" Avery said and killed them with all of her magic.

Kate managed to run off, but Argent had shot her with wolfsbane and followed her.

As soon as Avery saw Derek she calmed down instantly, and the wind stopped blowing.

Avery ran to Derek and wrapped her arms around him hugging him and Derek hugged her back kissed her on the forehead. "It's okay, I'm okay" Derek reassured her.

"There's enough yellow wolfsbane to keep Peter out for the trip back but be careful" Argent said.

"You're really going with them" Scott asked. "I made a deal with the Calaveras weeks ago they'll leave you alone all of you but only if I help them catch Kate" Argent said.

"What if you can't" Kira asked. "I'll find her someone has to" Argent said and left with the Calaveras.

Scott, Stiles, Malia, and Kira all looked over to see Avery was still hugging Derek and Scott couldn't help but smile at them happy at the fact his sister didn't lose her love.

Avery was in her room that night when she heard a knock on her door. She answered the door and saw Derek.

"Derek" Avery said, and Derek walked in while Avery closed the door behind him.

"What are you doing here I'm just grabbing a few clothes you do remember Rafael is still in town don't you" Avery asked.

"I do but I thought I should let you know that I'm going to visit Cora" Derek said.

"Oh, okay thanks for letting me know" Avery said. "You can still stay at the loft I shouldn't be gone too long" Derek said.

"Okay well tell Cora hi for me" Avery said. "I will but before I go there's something else" Derek said.

"What is it" Avery asked. "Avery I love you I'd never thought I'd find love after Paige but I found you and if it's possible I love you more I almost lost you once and it killed me and I don't want to do that again your it for me Avery okay there's no one else out there for me just you so I guess what I'm saying or trying to say is" Derek said and bent down on one knee pulling out a ring.

"Will you marry me" Derek asked putting Avery in shock.
