Well hi!

I just....wow, it's really over, isn't it? I know I mentioned multiple times I would do a final review for episode 5 after I've finished Mystery Mansion.

And I will, I promise.

I just need to actually make sure that I can get a good recorder and editor for minecraft: story mode season 2 because IT HATES ALL EDITORS AND HATES BEING RECORDED AND ARG FRICK MY FREAKING FLIP ARRGG

But, as soon as I get it working, I'll give my review. But before we get all into the cute fluff and, "I'll see ya next book!' stuff, I just wanna talk about my experiences with the game, because it is a great game, even though...

Okay, well, I got into it around 2016, when I saw Pat and Jen playing it (from PopularMMOs,) and OH MY GOSH I FELL IN LOVE AND I NEEDED IT AND WANTED IT. So, for Christmas, my parents finally gave into my weird little obsession and got me the game.

Let's just say, episode 1 was probably my favorite excluding the DLC, I loved EnderCon, I aggressively cried for almost three days after I watched IBallisticSquid's playthrough, about when Magnus died. (I didn't have the game yet, then, but still.) and Soren was literally my role model.

Sure, it didn't have the exact colour pallets and welcoming kinda crisp and happier atmosphere of the beginning of season 2, I enjoyed the characters interactions a lot more.

I noted that, while the breathtaking and beautiful and amazing adventures and art was in this season, last season's dialogue and characters felt so fluid and interesting, and heck, I don't like swearing, but even the swears made it feel more natural, as well as their emotions. We understood that- you, know, hold on, I'll save it.

Imma make different lil' paragraphs and chapters about each thing in season 2 or comparing it to last season, and THEN we get into the fluff. So..yeah..this is gonna be a really frickin' long chapter..


But mainly:

-Write Mystery Mansion

Please be patient though because I am pretty busy and I'm not gonna make all of these right away. Just give me time and I'll get it done, don't worry ^^

The Atmosphere-

Because, season 2 was ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE AND BREATHTAKING. The sea temples that I've talked way too much about and I frickin' giggled insanely at everything, with beautifully pristine prizmarine rooms and inscriptions and seaweed guards and the giant that tried to complete murder everyone-(not to mention the little boat scene with Petra fangirling over Jack was really cute)

Oh, and the looming admin at the end. That was also awesome.

The soft eternal winter and endless ice arena...

The terrifying bedrock prison with creepy Portal-like speakers, mush-rooms, Bob Ross, and the realization that we literally became a Maze Runner, with embers and fire and ghasts and scary inmates alike-

The AMAZING HIDDEN-VILLAGE TYPE AQUA OASIS OF MUSHROOMS AND BLUE UNDERWEAR AND AHH THAT SCENE MADE ME SMILE SO HARD AND I LOVE THE ENDER DEFENDER PJS AHHHHH

Also, the rest of the episode was pretty cool, if not a little..ur, misleading.

Giant Endermen takes up most of the plot my BUTT.

To finally, now, where I haven't played episode 5 but I already wanna cry and sob and break down and throw up all at once-ew wait-

Just, the atmosphere in general felt so warm and welcoming into each setting with its own absurdity and adventure. I loved it. As much as season 1? I dunno, I like both equally.

But, I feel like the dialogue and character interactions and the overall just atmosphere were good. The character interactions personally felt...stiff? I guess? They felt a lot more natural in Season 1. The plot was really good in both seasons. I'd say overall, the atmosphere for Season 1 was much better.

The Narrative 

I feel like the flow of Season 1 was much more natural and had a full arc, and the emotions felt real and also natural. In Season 2, some of the dialogue feels kinda forced in my opinion. I feel like only Petra got to have an arc. And maybe Radar.

Animation

The animation and overall tones for these episodes were incredible. While Season 1 had almost one consecutive tone of darker more serious colours, these colours are almost pastel, especially with both the inside of the sea temple and the interior and exteriors of Champion City.

New Characters

I love Jack. I love Nurm. I love Radar. I love Lluna. Just-all of them. End of paragraph.

Well, the episodes were a lot more diverse in plot than Season 1! Kinda like EtN: Fist season is more atmospheric and focused, and the second season is bigger and just more fun

I definitely just adore the first two episodes. Episode three was, eh, okay. Episode 4, other than the little mushroom island, was a little boring, and the fifth episode-

Well, I haven't played it yet! But once I fix it (because it plays great without a recorder,) then I'll record it and make a review on this book, but I'll technically: 'end,' this book, first So..yeah. Okay.

Now let's get INTO THE FLUFF AND GUESS WHERE I'M HOSTING IT

Cassie: aahHHHHHHHHH FINE

LATER: *Everything is set up in Cassie's mansion. It's Winter, obviously, so light snow falls and creates a blanket below. The mansion is lit in a terra cotta light (or yellow-orange light,) and the mansion looks great, full of warm and bright colors and lots of hot cocoa. A big TV is mounted just above the fireplace in the dining room. Cassie grumbles as the Wattpaders stream in her mansion*

Aranna: HOT COCOA!

Cassie: *Yelps*

Jack: Hmm, nice place.

Nurm: Heh.

Cassie: Wait-wait wait wait-Dawson, who are these people?

Dawson: Oh! Sorry, new Season's characters. This is Jack, he wears teal tank tops that no one thinks is cool and a neat eyepatch-

Jack: *grumbles*

Dawson: Nurm-he's pretty cool

Nurm: Heh.

Dawson: Radar-

Radar: *Hides behind Jesse, Jesse sighs but allows it*

Dawson: LLuna-

LLuna: *Weird alien-like llama noises n crap*

Cassie: Oh, great, more people, because this place needed more go-frickin people *grumbles and stalks away*

Dawson: *Calls after her* I'm sorry! Awe

Cassie: *Grumbles again, comes back and ruffles her head, goes back to kitchen to make some more cookies* It's okay, just-no more people

Dawson: Okay!

Dawson: *Turns to others* Okay, let's now just hope that Liv, Kyril, and Lysa don't break in again like last time. Or all of us will be killed in this mansion.

*Murmured agreement*

THE AWUers REACT TO AWU

(A book by RainingFaye, basically the OCs reacting to the book but it's a movie and I know it's weird)

Rush: Do we have to sit with the people we're being shipped with again?

Kendall: Why not?

*Rush sits next to Kendall, Lukas to Petra, Aiden next to Marilyn, Maya and Jesse (because Rush ships Aiden with TOO MANY PEOPLE,) Lizzie with Dan, Stacy with Stampy. Jack, Nurm, Radar, and LLuna awkwardly sit to the side, eating vanilla ice cream together, intrigued or in Jack or LLuna's cases bored about what the heck they're even doing here*

Radar: So you really defeated that giant colossal all by yourself!? Wow! And in a sea temple too, with seaweed guards and prizmarine and ancient inscriptions everywhere!

Petra: You're sounding a lot like Dawson right about now.

Dawson: Hey! At least I'm not whimpering over Escape the Night, okay?

Kendall: Oh, you mean like when Joey was whimpering over Liza getting her throat slit by-

Dawson: *Whimpers* Well you didn't have to remind me

Lizzie: *Hugs me* Kendall!

Rush: *Punches her in the arm*

Papisuu: ANYWAYS

*Everyone screams*

*Camera blips out*

Lizzie: Okay, so roll-call before we start this-er, rather weird endeavor

*Stacy laughs*

Lizzie: Papisuu, here, Fangirl, Investagator, Lysa who snuck in, Liv who snuck in, Kyril who snuck in, me, Stacy, Stampy, Dan, Sparklez, Jack, Nurm, Radar, LLuna, Cassie, Winslow, Jesse, Petra-

Lizzie: Okay, jeez...Lukas, Dawson, Snowy, Rush, Kendall, Jasmine, Logan, Aranna, Minty, Boredom, Minty, Crystal, Comet, the rest of the, 'AWUers,' and I think that's it!

*Turns on the TV*

*Lights dim themselves because it's almost midnight and I'm really flippin' tired so it's okay if they just dim themselves okay okay*

*Blankets are strewn around the dining room. Mostly in shades of either yellow-orange, terra cotta red, or dark blue-violets. A couple torches and the fireplace burn dimly but for the most part, the dining room is dark. Cassie passes out warm hot cocoa with marshmallows, and a light snow falls over the outside of the mansion.*

Minty: Oh-oh

Lizzie: Oh jeez

Kendall: Wait, is this the final-

Others: Is this the final battle??

Rush: Shhh..

Minty: Wow! I really hate Aaron, don't I?

Myst: But he's hot

Everyone else: Shh!

*TV Flickers on, there's discussion on who gets control of the remote. Lukas almost gets it but Petra wins in the end. Everyone else remains salty.*

Meghan: I'll be fine, there are other people that need your help more than me. Go.

*Minty hesitates for a second before leaving*

*Meghan gets cornered*

Meghan: Ah.

Multiple people: *Shouting, 'no no no no no!!'*

*Meghan gets killed*

Jesse: Boo!

Kendall: Boooo!

Meghan: Ah well sh-

*Everyone laughs*

*Camera blips out*

*Minty if still fighting Aaron. The special effects team have done a magnificent job capturing the slashes of Minty's enchanted diamond axe against Aaron's staff*

Cassie: *Winces*

Jesse: What?

Cassie: Oh nothing, just..nothing. Just, remember our battle? You know, back when I was clinically insane?

Jesse: Oh. Yeah

Petra: Yeah, except you two aren't the ones being shipped together//

Dawson: *Dying*

*Cindy gets knocked out*

Cindy: *Mild swearing under breath*

Kendall: Dawson, save your love!

Dawson: *Still dying*

*The sand and stone dullions are now everywhere, smashing up the castle. Cindy dies, Lukas dies, it's all a mess.*

Petra: *Clutches heart*

*The platform is crumbling and only Dawson and Logan are left. The two jump and Dawson survives..

But Logan falls into the void and dies*

Most Participants: WHOOOAAA NO FRICKIN-

*Screaming*

Liv: AH YOU DIDN'T SAY THAT COULD HAPPEN

Ruby: FLIPPIN' 'ECK!

Athena: What!?

Papisuu: Man I was not -holy heck!

*Everyone stops when the video continues. Logan keeps falling and Rush screams. Aranna unlocks the time stop and they find the book*

Logan: Ah me.

Rush: *On the TV* A World Unwound?

Myst: FOURTH WALL BREAK!

*Multiple chuckles, more shhs*

Quite Later...

Rush: And that's the end!

*Multiple people clap, mostly Kendall, Petra and Myst*

JESSE AND AIDEN PLAY SLENDER

Jesse: OH NO

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Aiden: What?

Rush: Too bad! *Shoves them into the dining room with some hot cocoa*

Jesse: Didn't we play this together once already?

Aiden: They probably just wanna make us suffer again *Rolls his eyes*

*Lights turn off*

Cassie: Is that good-there's pie in the kitchen if you guys need it.

Aiden: *dead-panned* Thanks.

Cassie: You're welcome! *leaves*

Jesse: Alright, okay..*loads up game* Scared yet?

Aiden: Not a bit. You?

Jesse: Nope! I was born for this/

*Game music starts*

Jesse: Man I hope Petra and Lukas play this game next

*Their avatar wanders through the woods. Its Autumn apparently, and there's some rather nice very Autumn-y leaves of gold, lime, copper and terra cotta red. Jesse's tempted to walk through them as the two come to a beach near a pick up truck when Aiden points out the page.*

Aiden: Get the page!

Jesse: I'm getting the page!

Aiden: Jesse-get the page!

Jesse: I'm getting the freaking page!!

*3 constant minutes of Jesse and Aiden trying to psych each other out later*

Aiden: I'm trying to circle around-this would go so much more well if I was doing this with Maya and Gill, honestly-how many pages do we have so far

Jesse: Hmm-5 I think

*Their avatar comes to the big oak tree. Jesse whistles under her breath*

Aiden: Huh, that's...actually pretty good! *Sees Slender near the Oak Tree.* *Splutters* Jesse-

Jesse: Ah, I see 'im. *Holds up hand*

Aiden: You think we can convince Petra and Lukas to play this again next book?

Jesse: Oh for sure.

*Slender getting closer*

Jesse: Okay, time to run. *Avatar begins to run and the yellow-orange flashlight turns off.*

Aiden: *Having heart palpitations*

Jesse: Wait *torch light flickers on and off* Wait, what--wait, oh no.

Aiden: What?

Jesse: THE TORCH BATTERY JUST RAN OUT

Aiden: JESSE

Jesse: *mockingly* Ah!

Aiden: *mockingly* Nah!

*They loop around the tree and are abruptly jumpscared by Slender*

Both: *Violent screaming*

Aiden: *Throws computer* I. WANT. TO DIE.

Jesse: Aw, that was expensive.

BAKING BECAUSE I CAN

*Kendall stands in front of a camera in the kitchen. The others are sitting on stools around the caramel-colored counter, yawning.*

Kendall: WELCOME TO - KENDALL'S COOKING CLASS! WHERE I TAKE MY FRIENDS TO BAKE SOMETHING SWEET

Investagator: *in background* Let us sleeeeeep-

Kendall: TODAY ON KENDALL'S COOKING CLASS-

*Almost all mumble swears*

Kendall: PANCAKES! RUSH, PLEASE GOOGLE HOW TO MAKE PANCAKES! Thanks love! *Blows a kiss*

Rush: *Pulls out phone* Thanks-babe *laughs*

5 minutes later...

Kendall: Now, we're going for a non-dairy style pancake as Dawson can't have dairy

Dawson: Hah *awkwardly smiles* Sorry

Kendall: Okay, so we've gotten the mix in with some vanilla, some cinnamon, water, and some-

Myst: Kendall-

Multiple people: Kendall Kendall Kendall-

Kendall: What? *Turns around and yelps*

Kendall: HOW DID IT CATCH FIRE

*Flames are literally licking the contents of the bowl in red and yellow-orange flickers. Cassie swears from somewhere off-camera, Stampy screams "Panicpanicpanicpanic!!" and Lizzie tries to calm him down, multiple people hovering over the counter scream and back away*

Phoenix: I GOT THIS *runs with full force towards the batter with a fire extinguisher*

Jesse: PHOENIX NO-

*Video cuts out*

*Everyone is in the dining room. The fire and torches are bright again and the pancakes don't seem to be too burnt. Everyone is laughing*

Rush: We're doing this every book, right?

Dawson: Obviously

*Cassie groans and laughter and cheers cascade into the night*
