(OC) Lyric x Ivor (Ice Cyrstal)

I don't remember being this frustrated about not being able to finish a chapter before. You'll see rushed things towards the end. Not many shippy moments, I'm aware.
You might wanna read my notes at the end of this chapter.

To apologyze, I have this quick doodle of what I think Lyric would look like.

It has been almost two months since the witherstorm became a threat to millions of lives. For the sake of the overworld, few brave people kept searching for a solution, Jesse and his gang. It wasn't easy. Gathering the order, finding Soren and finally counting on Ivor's plan, who was forced to wake up just a minute ago by his old friend. A punch to the face.

Ivor messaged his neglected, long beard. One of his coarse hands were half heartedly holding Soren for the sake of not falling off and breaking a limb. They've been on road for what felt like years. Everyone was devastated and Jesse's strange remarks or non-stop questions didn't help anything.

"Ivor. Stay put!"

Ivor kept shifting in his place, trying to get comfortable. Already not having in good terms with Ivor, Soren of course would've got mad at him for continuesly moving around on the limited space.

"What can I do? I have to pee, we're going on for 5 hours straight!"

Olivia and Jesse gave off judgmental looks along with Soren. Petra seemed too focused to the pain on her butt.

"Ew, Ivor! Manners." Olivia exclaimed.

"What manners? Peeing is a part of our lives!"

"You don't have to be this open about it you old man."

"I'm not an old man!"

Olivia shook her head before turning to the road. After one failed plan of saving the world and losing a hero you always look up to, she couldn't motivate herself to being any positive. Her energy was long gone because of it, she just wanted to work on how to create brand new machines while enjoying the taste of her chocolate, as dark as her skin. She was starving.

"My butt never felt this flat in my 19 years of lifetime." Petra groaned. Her dark circles were even more visible from the lack of sleep.

"Maybe we should stay here to rest for a little time."

Jesse stopped his horse. By every word he spoke, little clouds of air escaped to their freedom. It was freezing in this biome.

Because of it, Soren didn't seem to like the young boy's idea. "We can't. Not when we have a gigantic monster following you around. I'm sure I don't want my death to be in this freezing biome."

"We're all fatigued, Soren. It won't cause us much of a problem to rest for ten minutes I guarantee you."

Leader of the order stopped to think all possibilities. After scratching his open forehead, he sighed.

"What about we all decide this? What do your friends say? And no, Ivor, you're not allowed to come up with an opinion."

There was only a moment of silence before realisation hit him.

"Ivor?"

***

Ivor ran all the way downhill to find a place- anywhere to relieve himself. He kept banging his head into tall ice cubes and groaned in frustration along the way. There was nothing but snow and ice in this damned biome!

As he kept continuing to run at his best pace he slipped on an ice, leaving him all face-planted on the cold ground. Ivor's beard was all covered in snow as he lifted his face from the ground.

"Who the hell are you?"

There stood a middle aged female, looking down on him with deadly cold eyes. She seemed to have really magical eyes- just like an ice cyrstal.

"Answer me you weirdo. Who are you suppose to be?"

The mysterious girl started tapping her feet on the ground with arm crossed to the chest, she kept glaring towards the poor man covered by her slim shadow. Her voice didn't came out as interrogator, but a threatening one. Ivor blinked a few times before pulling himself up just for the girl to put him down again, only using the force of her still foot. Old man groaned, his weak bones didn't need this kind of treatment.

"Looks like I'm gonna have to take care of you for sneaking into our zone."

With one swift movement she pulled Ivor from the ground by his collar, disabling any kind of move this man could try.

'This girl is awesome?'

Finally, Ivor decided to speak and learn what the hell she meant by all of these. He actually wondered if there was actually a civilization in this empty biome.

"What sneaking? I'm trying to save the world here!"

The girl didn't flinch nor show any gesture, just dragged Ivor around. His stupid protests were driving her crazy as she moved her short hair out of her eyes.

Ivor began thinking what kinde of a mess he got himself into when they arrived at a skyscraper built by ice- reminding him that kids show he saw with Magnus, where there was a girl singing inside the castle she built by her powers-- it made him cry at the time.

His thoughts dispersed the moment they got in. Inside of this humongous tower a man with white cloak and sharp edged glasses came towards them, followed by a little girl who was about to dissappear inside her huge, furry coat. Everyone in this place seemed used to cold besides her.

"Lyric. What is going on here?" The man with the cloak asked the girl who's name was suppose to be Lyric. He took his glasses off to reveal eyes as bright as the sun and deadly as the storm. Ivor watched, shifted between the two figures as Lyric explained everything to the man.

"Why did you even bring him here?"

"He might be here to steal the crystal!"

Ivor did nothing but to examine the man's features hit by strong lightning. He asked himself again, what did he gotten himself into?

***

2 months had past since Ivor's disappearence. Although he was worried about the witherstorm, Ivor hoped everything was okay, witherstorm still didn't hit them so that's a good sign, right?

Old man was actually quite enjoying his time here. Free food, water, a neat place to stay and people with actual powers! Ever since saving the crystal, Lyric been really nice to him despite their first meeting.

Ivor had already been found innocent the past two months, especially after saving the so called 'ice crystal' from shattering into pieces. After going through millions of interrogations and tests, he was found that he came from another timeline.

Not even questioning it, Ivor hyped, his veins filled with the love of adventures.

Now he was sitting in a wooden seat, watching Lyric create strange Icy cubes out of nowhere. Ivor couldn't help but feeling worthless when he saw all the capabilities everyone in this caste can reach, Lyric had pity for him. She decided to teach him at least how to create a snowball, she didn't know if that was possible or not, but it would worth a shot.

Sure, Ivor did pretty well about driving her crazy. It always will be the specialty of Ivor, fortunutely Lyric found her ways to shut him up.

"See, that's how you do it. Easy." said Lyric as she spinned the ice on the tip of her red fingers.

"Yes yes, it is easy, for you that is!"

Ivor got frustrated of trying to summon a piece of ice and getting empty air in return. "Feh! I quit it."

Lyric rolled her eyes. "You're a time traveller, plus saved the crystal, and now you're saying you can't spin a piece of cube?"

"No, I'm saying that I can not create the cube out of nowhere!" he grabbed the ice Lyric had created before and started to spin it in his palm. "See? See?!"

Lyric snatced the cube out of his hands. "You're a dumb person Ivor." she told, with sadness in her voice.

"Ha ha. They always say so."

Ivor felt a wet spot on top of his crooked nose. He looked up to see snowing, nothing new for this freezing biome.

What he later realized was the crystals were actually visible this time and shiny as fresh gold.

He looked over to see Lyric's closed eyes, one hand up in the sky, whispering inaudible words. When her eyes flutter open, she smiled towards Ivor.

"To the man who saved the crystal, now my sister's soul is free, may the Gods take away his guilts and sorrow."

Ivor felt confused. Crystal had something to do with her sister's soul?

"You're a dumb person, Ivor. You're my dumb person." she wiped a tear escaping as Ivor tried to understand the events happening in fron of his eyes.

"You have a seperate world you belong in. You will get there by morning, but always will be within our hearts. Maybe you can't create a cube in your aged hands, but you have lots of adventures in front of you, a lot of new worlds to save. Goodbye Ivor."

Then Lyric dissappeared, dropping a little clock made of ice, showing zero.

WUT just happened you might ask;

Long story short, I really have the sick plot for that chapter in my head about crystal but I got so ticked off with trying to complete it without the thing being 900000 words or something, finally realizing I couldn't, I just cut the informations about what happened in those 2 months. Am I planning on writing the thing? Not on here. Why didn't I just complete it? Because it's an OC oneshot and only the person who requested it will be reading it. So It was extremely needless to make it 2873273882 words.

What actually happened is Ivor saved the crystal from falling off from the hands of an enemy, trying to steal the thing, becoming an important person for the castle, Lyric falling for him (the crystal carried Lyric's dead sisters soul) but Ivor having to leave to his own world within 2 months. Lyric realizes it and feels dissappointed, eventually she sends Ivor to his own world.

That is actually one hella sad oneshot but yeah.

I think I don't enjoy writing lovey dovey things as much as I used to be.

Plus I'm not in the mood to write, really. Anyways, this was requestsd by oceanofcolors and the next oneshot is Nell x M!Jesse.
