((I just really like song preferences I'm sorry))
((Also, Newt's is sad and stuff, it takes place after page 250))

Loving can hurt, loving can hurt sometimes.
It hurt so badly. It all hurt so badly. It grew from an acute, burning pain to a dull, throbbing ache throughout your whole body. Your mind almost couldn't process the fact that he was gone. Newt, your first love, was gone. You hated that you loved him, that loving had to feel like this. Tears spilled out of your eyes and you were surprised that you hadn't cried yourself dry. No food nor drink had entered your body since it happened, despite your friends' best efforts. Thomas had tried to apologize once, but after you launched a glass at his head, he kept his distance.
If love was supposed to be so great, then why did it hurt so damn much?

Loving can heal, loving can mend your soul. ((am I cruel or what))
You were broken before you came up in that elevator, before you had even laid eyes on him. You didn't know in what way, but you could feel your soul in pieces. Thomas helped you through it all, he slowly assisted in piecing yourself back together, using love as the glue.

When I'm away I will remember how you kissed me, under the lamppost back on 6th street. ((This is a bit of an au I guess))
Minho and you were high school sweethearts, dating since freshman homecoming. Now you both held envelopes for colleges four states away from each other. A deep sadness pooled in your stomach as you stood next to Minho's car with him, his trunk filled with his things.
"Don't look so blue." He said softly, lifting your chin so he could look you straight in the eye. "Remember that day on 6th street?"
"Our first kiss under that lamppost." You nodded, a soft smile at the memory.
"Yeah, and how about every year we clear our schedules so we can go visit that lamppost?"
"Sounds like a date."
He kissed you once, then another time before climbing in and rolling down his window for another.
"Bye Minho." You had tears pricking in your eyes.
"Bye Y/N."
The car was just at the end of the drive way when you ran to it, screaming for him to stop. "One more." You pleaded, and he willingly obliged, giving you another, more passionate kiss.
