N E W T

"Keep up Greenie." Alby said harshly, from many feet in front of you. Your shorter legs were making it hard to keep up with the tall leader's strides.

You picked your pace up to a jog to catch up with him, muttering obscenities under your breath. He slowed down as you guys reached a big hole in the wall he called the East Door. You looked around after a few silent moments. He hadn't moved, merely looking out of it. "Anything else?" You asked.

"Nope."

"So can I go, or...?" You trailed off as a couple dots appeared in the distance. "Are those people?"

Alby ever-so-slightly nodded, breaking his vow to not answer questions on the First Day. They got closer, and you identified the dots as two boys, one a lanky blonde boy and the other a muscular Asian boy, both had red faces. They neared, slowing to talk to us.

"A girl Greenie?" The Asian boy raised an eyebrow, his question directed at Alby. "She know her name?"

"Y/N." You interjected forcefully, catching him off guard.

"I'm Minho." He said without skipping a beat, offering a hand for you to shake before gesturing to his friend. "And this is Newt."

You shook that boy's hand as well, and he gave you a warm smile, the best thing you'd seen since getting here.

T H O M A S

You were running in from the Maze with your partner, Minho. He was in the middle of a breathy lecture about going directly to the map room when you guys got back, and if you didn't, he'd drag you there by your ear if he had to, blah, blah, blah. Pretty quickly once you got here two months ago, you had learned to tune him out.

Two people by the door you were coming in through caught your attention. You recognized Chuck, the latest Greenie, however the tall brunette boy beside him was unfamiliar.

"Shuck, I forgot today was Greenie day." Minho groaned. "Don't answer any of the shank's questions."

"Gotcha."

"Who are they?" The Greenie asked, rather loudly.

"Other Gladers." Chuck replied simply, and the Greenie seemed annoyed at his vague response.

"I'm Minho." "I'm Y/N." you both introduced yourselves in unison, and you flashed a smile at the boy, who was actually quite cute.

As you and the other Runner jogged over to the Map Room, you hear Chuck chastises. "Stop droolin' over her shuckface!"

M I N H O

You were terrified, you had come up to a strange place with no memories and fifty boys looking at you hungrily. So you ran like hell towards what looked like an exit. Some of the boys ran after you yelling, but that scared you even more, causing you to run even faster. Once far away from them, you kept running and periodically looked behind you to see if any of them had followed you, which it seems as though none had.

As you turned a corner another body hit yours and you landed on the ground. They were even waiting for you out here. "What the hell?" The boy you had ran into said. "A shucking girl?"

You scrambled away from him, trying to run but a massive pain in your arm whenever you moved it hindered your escape plan. "You can't outrun me." He said, grabbing the wounded arm.

You screamed. Probably more than was necessary but it got him to let go of you. "Shuck, I'm trying to help you." You eyed him carefully. "Name's Minho. I guess you're the Greenie."

You slowly nodded. "Can I see your arm again?" After you obliged, Minho tenderly looked over your arm. "I think it's broken. You have to go back to the Glade and get a Medjack to fix you up."

Your eyes widened as you thought of going back there, and you feverently shook your head. "They aren't that bad. And hey, I'll stay with you the entire time if you want me to, Greenie."

"Y/N." You finally spoke to the kind boy.

"Pretty name. Now come on, Greenie, you ran a long way away from home. How scared were you?"

"If you woke up as the only girl among fifty guys with no memory, wouldn't you be afraid too?" You eased into conversation with Minho as you walked back to the Glade.
