Everything started to catch on fire

Karai: I had no choice but to rise up against him, starting a clan of my own. The Hamato. Then I met the Kameko Clan who fought along side me

Karai and a black cat yokai named Liliana fought side by side

Karai: No mortal weapon could defeat the Shredder so Liliana and I resolved to make the ultimate sacrifice.

Liliana used all of her mystic powers to keep Shredder at bay while Karai delivered the final blow

Karai: Liliana gave up her life so I could take Shredder and myself into the Twilight realm...

Leo saw Lizzie looked sad so he comforted her

Lizzie: She gave up her life?

Alexa: ...I had no idea

Karai: Yes... It was the only way to stop... my father

Everyone was shocked

Karai held the picture and smiled but then Splinter, Lizzie, Rebecca, Kim and Sophie moved them out of them way

Lizzie: They're just really excited to meet you

Karai: I know but you have taught them many other things like the importance of family and how a family can grow

She looked at Lizzie, Rebecca, Kim and Sophie who all smiled

Splinter: Thank you. So you think we have a chance against the Shredder?

The Hamato symbol on her chest glowed green

Their ancestors appeared and were ghosts

Karai: It gave me the strength to defeat the Shredder all those years ago. As long as they are Hamato there is hope.

A green blade appeared in her hand

But then Karai felt weak and the ghost disappeared along with her weapon

Karai: I'm not sure...

Raph: Can you teach how to tap into this inner power?

Lizzie: I've tapped into mine multiple times! I'm sure I can help!

Karai: Thank you. Now let us begin-

Suddenly she felt a pain in her chest

Rebecca: What's wrong?

Karai: H-He has found me-

At that moment Shredder crashed through the ceiling with Foot recruit, Foot lieutenant and Foot brute

Shredder: Karai! I could sense you were here. Now I will consume your Hamato essence and become truly invincible

He looked at Lizzie who was holding her weapon but clearly scared

Shredder: A descendent of Liliana herself. She was weak but I'll have your powers as well-

Shredder was about to attack but was blocked by Leo's sword. For the first time he wasn't joking around

Leo: Stay AWAY from her

Next Raph punched shredder in the head with his mystic fist

Raph: Protect Gram Gram!

The foot clan and the Hamato clan attacked each other while Leo and Lizzie ran up to Karai

Leo: Gram Gram we have to get you out of here!

Shredder tries to attack them again but Mikey used his whip to tie him up

Leo created a portal and the three of them disappeared. Then the shredder glared at Mikey

He breaks out of the chains easily destroying Mikey's weapon

Meanwhile Leo, Lizzie and Karai landed in Donnie's lab

Leo: Shelldon!

Sheldon flies up to them

Leo: I need you to protect Gram gram and Lizzie

Shelldon became a bigger robot. Then Leo made another portal and was about to enter it when Lizzie stopped him

Lizzie started crying

He disappeared through the portal

Leo made it to the center of the lair and it was completely on fire

Rebecca was in her complete bat form as she threw Shredder against the wall

He got back up but Leo blocked his attack with his sword

Shredder: With is Karai and the cat?!

Leo: Far away from you!!

Shredder: ENOUGH! No more escape!

The Shredder broke Leo's sword in half

Leo: My odachi!

Shredder was about to finish him off when he was suddenly hit with Lizzie's scythe

Lizzie: Get away from my boyfriend...

Shredder dropped Leo onto the ground and he tried to reach for her

Leo: Liz...

Shredder slowly starting walking up the Lizzie

Shredder: You think you have nine lives just because you're a cat. No. It's attached to your mystic energy

Lizzie didn't know that as she prepared to face him

Lizzie: T-Then I'll die protecting the ones I love

Shredder and Lizzie fought each other with everything they had.

But then Shredder took her out

He was about to absorb her mystic energy when Karai cut off his arms

Shredder: AHHH!!!

Karai landed in front of him while sweating a little

Karai: Get away from my family...

She tapped into all her ninpo as the turtles and the girls watched. Then Leo saw Lizzie on the floor and ran up to her

Leo: LIZ! Lizzie! Wake up! Please!

The scar along Lizzie's chest faded and she slowly woke up

Lizzie: I-I'm-

Leo: NO TIME!

He helped her stand up and regrouped with the others but then Shredder grabbed Karai

Shredder: The Twilight realm has made you weak but it has made me strong! You have failed and now your power will be mine!

Karai: If my power is what you seek have it!

She gave the Shredder her powers and there was a massive burst of energy

Then Karai fell on the ground

Karai: Anatawa Hitorijanai...

Raph had to hold Leo back from saving her

Leo: GRAM GRAM!

Raph: No! The Hamato must live on!

The turtles and Lizzie made it to the turtle tank. Draxum, Splinter and Alexa defeated Shredder's minions

Raph: Everybody in the tank!!

Alexa: What's going on?!

Splinter: What happened to Karai?

Lizzie: I-I'm sorry... It's my fault...

Donnie: Wait where's Reb-

Suddenly Shredder burst through the wall

Splinter: Draxum! Alexa! The children! they must escape

Draxum and Alexa nodded then Alexa looked back at them

Alexa: GO!! Get as far away as possible!

Lizzie: MOM! NO!

Raph: We're not leaving without the three of you!

Splinter: Raphael as long as there are Hamato there is hope!

Alexa: The Kameko clan will help you stop him! So please... GO!!!

The turtles and Lizzie had no choice but to enter the turtle tank and drive away

Alexa: For our family

Splinter: For our hope

Draxum: For our home

The three of them attacked Shredder with everything they had

Lizzie: NOOOO!!!!
