After what seems to be a long month of numerous processes, from going to the bank to apply for loans, researching the best location to set up the shop, arguments on the decorations and cook-offs to determine the menu. Not forgetting the tedious choosing of coffee beans and purchasing the machines.

The day they all waited eagerly arrived, and standing in front of the shop, they felt a sea of emotions. The distinctive eye-catching sign made them think that the moment is just a dream.

"Neo Coffee and Tea..." muffled out from Winwin, who tried his best to read the words that made up the name of their shop.

"We're finally going to do it," said Johnny as he randomly touched his face, not knowing what he should do to keep his pounding heart at ease.

The glass door was pushed open, making the first step into the inside, Doyoung's mouth was left ajar despite having seen the process of how the empty shop lot has been turned into a magnificent coffee place for the new generation that grows on aesthetics and beauty.

Following Doyoung's steps, the rest made their way inside and the only few utterances that could be heard were gasps of awe and a variety of tones of 'oh my god'.

Realizing how time passed from their admiration of their hard work, Jaehyun voiced up, " Let's get to work guys. We have a lot to do for the first day."

"We're still new and I don't think we would have that many customers. So, let me just sit here and enjoy the decor." One of the mischievous young ones, Haechan said making a number of them huff out a 'heh'.

"Haechan, Haechan. You can't slack off on the first day already. We have to get people to come and I'm pretty sure we already went through with that. The minors can the be promoters outside for the day." uttered Yuta who handed a handful of flyers to the younger ones and wore his apron right after.

"Do we have to? But I'm the chairman. I'm Chenle!" cried the second youngest, but still reached his hands to grab a pile of flyers.

"Plus, it would be boring without Mark." Jeno said as a form of minor protest from the minors.

"I'll be coming in and out to help you guys, don't worry. Even though you guys would make me act cute to try and gain customers." Mark replied as he finally took a chair to sit down.

"There there, let's begin. Or else we won't be opening properly today. Also, make sure to be clean and tidy everyone." Taeyong, the leader of the group and dubbed as the clean-loving mum, reminded them.

"I'll take the Moomin inspired flyers." squealed Renjun as he picked the flyers.

Letting out a laugh, Jaemin replied, "All the flyers are the same Renjun." Which made the group laugh before they slowly made way to the position they've been assigned to for the day.

Taeil quickly grabbed one of the aprons laid up on the counter and wore it. Taking a rag, he dampens the rag before proceeding to wipe the tables.

"Let's get it started!" shouted Ten as he held a mop and busting some moves with the mop.

"Don't start a pole dance with that mop." Johnny shouted from the back of the counter.

"Chittapurr~" Ten said in a singing tone as he caresses the mop.

Laughing as they shook their heads, the older ones began to the head to the kitchen and fill up the showcases with food. Some began to operate the coffee machines along with organizing the ingredients so they could swiftly fulfil orders.

As the youngers busied themselves with the flyers and discussed to where they should head out to spread the news of their opening, Jisung, the youngest, had his eyes all over the shop. Just as his title of being the youngest, he was curious of his surroundings, making him look utterly cute being a clueless muffin that he is.

"Jisung, aren't you listening?" Taeyong asked as he placed a cap on Jisung, which made the youngest snap out from the focus he had on the ornaments the shop had.

"You're going with me to the market to hand out the flyers." Chenle spoke as he held onto Jisung's hands, making him follow Chenle's steps out the shop.

"I'll be here, spreading the news online." Haechan leaned back as his back greets the cushioned wall, while his hand held a tablet and his fingers diligently worked on the screen of the tablet.

"It's just fair if we go in pairs." Jaemin said as Jaemin, Jeno and Renjun pulled Heachan up onto his feet and practically dragged the boy out the door.

"Bring back some customers!" Yuta shouted at the entrance as he watched the youngers head out, as if they're embarking on a great journey.

"We don't know if the invites we gave out are going to make people come, but let's prepare the food and snacks." Johnny uttered as he walked towards Jaehyun who's already started in making the snacks.

"I hope loads of people come." Winwin spoke and followed by nods from the others.

Silence flowed across the shop as they all diligently did their work. But in the middle of their focus, one of them shouted which ended up making them laugh and joke around to ease their nervousness and anxiousness.

"Neo Coffee and Tea fighting! NCT fighting!"

"Wait, why am I wearing your apron?!"

Taeyong and Taeil's handshake to start off the story and to celebrate the opening of Neo Coffee & Tea!

Wow, having to write an intro to introduce everyone was a bit of a challenge but I'm happy with how it turned out! I hope this was a good first chapter. Future chapters will have only a few members per chapter so it's easier to focus on their characters and the length of each chapter will be at least 1000 words since that's my usual way of writing a lengthy fiction, at my standards. I guess that's all of the details I thought of telling.
