I know I probably sound like a shitty person saying this, but the night passes in a blurr and I don't even remember the faces of the girls I had Sex with.
When I get a phone call from Black, I'm still not totally sober.
"Get here asap."
"Are you kidding me? It's 8:00, Black.
I need to sleep, I had one hell of a night."
"It's about Karin, your bitch."
My muscles flex.
"That little whore? I'm not interested in her anymore."
Black laughs.
"You're not interested in anyone, Ryan. Don't lie to me. I'm an asshole, too. I know how it feels, it's fine. You're my best friend."
I sigh.
"Well, okay. Maybe I'm not interested in any girl, but what's the deal now? Why do you call me in the morning? Are you some type of therapist now?
Seriously, it's 8:00 am. I really need to sleep!"
"She's still into you and she thinks you're into Miranda."
"She does?" I say, a little too fast.
"Well, yes. That's what I heard from the boys. Some of them still mess around with her, if they're bored, you know."
"Okay, so what? I'm not into anyone.
Girls are hella boring and I already slept with half the class at this point."
Black laughs.
"Yeah, right. We all have. Girls are easy to get into bed, at least if you're us. But Miranda doesn't seem interested in us, does she? I know you're gonna say you don't care, but Karin does. She thinks you're trying to get Miranda laid and now she's really mad."
"But I'm not!"
"Yes, but Karin is planning some sort of revenge on Miranda for stealing your attention."
I moan in utter disbelief.
"You are kidding me!"
"I'm not! So are you coming to me now?"
"Yeah, yeah. You've won. Give me 20 minutes."

"So what about Jake and Daniel? Are they coming too?"
"Jake said he would try and Daniel still had a hangover, so I decided I let it go."
I look at him angrily.
"But I wasn't aloud to get fully back on track!"
Black half smiles.
"Yeah, because this Karin - situaton is something that affects you."
"Oh my god, I can't believe Karin actually thinks I'm into Miranda!"
Black grins.
"Well, to be fair, she is pretty. Miranda, I mean."
He ducks under the pillow I throw at him.
"Shut up! I'm not interested in anyone!"
"Yeah, whatever you say!"
