For the next week or so, my routine didn't alter. Library, classes, clock tower, classes, library, sleep. But one day, that all happened to change.

Now everyone knows change is either good, bad, or somewhere in between.

But it's all perspective.

Is the glass half empty, half full, or fulpty?

And the event that happened to change my routine was horrible in my perspective.

But in Keith's, it's probably one of the better things that happened to his life.

Have I not explained? I must be caught up with myself. I'm sorry to the extremity. But it is pretty horrible.

Keith and Amber are now dating.

I'm completely serious.

No joking. No and, ifs, or buts. It's truer than one plus one equalling two (no windows here).

Just some nice gestures, a bouquet of carnations, and WHAM! We have a couple.

And it's affecting me so much so indirectly.

I can't have my arch nemesis (secret, don't tell Amber that) kissing my best friend. It's diabolical! It's an abomination! It practically goes against the laws of physics!

Practically, anyways.

Don't get me wrong, I still eat ramen in front of the Sather Tower. But now I don't talk much.

Well, I never really did. I just did when necessary. So now I speak slightly less than I used to.

But I have no problem with that. If I have to, I'll be mute once again.

Even in the library after my classes. I'll be as quiet as I must be.

   "Are you okay, James?" Katherine asked. She was looking at me in confusion. I shook my head no, saying there was nothing wrong with me and that I was fine.

   "Are you sure? You seem quiet." she said. I shook my head yes. In my mind I'm saying 'I'm always like this.'.

   "Say something." she said. I took a deep breath and closed my eyes. Then I opened them to reveal myself to the most divine creature in the entire world.
