I remember how times were before everyone became like this. We all had normal lives. Go to work, go to school, get some dinner. I had a normal life, there was nothing special about me. I was just like everyone else. 

Life is us trying to stay alive and create more. Now everyone is different. That day that everything changed was the last time that we all had some peace. Now it's all death, a virus has spread. Everyone started feeling more fatigued, and soon they would die.

They wouldn't stay dead though, hours later the corpses would rise, they wouldn't inflict damage on others though. They would actually beg the people to kill them, apparently, they couldn't inflict damage on themselves. 

These livings, as the people called them, wanted to die. These things wanted to get slayed and taken down. It's so sad to see them like this, wanting to be brought down. 

The first time I saw them, I ran, just like any normal person would do. The thing got to this little girl. He ran up to her, begging her to kill him. Telling her it was too much for him to handle, he kept yelling that it hurt.

The girl's mother ran up and killed the poor thing. All I heard him say after was, thank you. Days later I saw him again. Begging for someone to kill him once again. 

I couldn't bear it any longer. I decided I had to do something. I've become the only person who's tried looking to the bright side. I decided I would find a cure for this dreaded disease.
