Dean

I hear the door open and when I stand up to go greet her, I see that Cassie has...been injured, shall we say. But for some reason she's smiling.

"Tell me you did not get into a fight without me."

"1) Rude, no hello for your girlfriend of 2 years. 2) I won. 3) I don't need you to protect me," she replies.

"Cassie, it's not about protection-"

"No, I don't want to hear it, I was defending you."

"Oh... But still!"

I end up sleeping on the sofa.

Cassie - 8 months later

I smile when Dean holds the baby girl I just gave birth to.

"See why I didn't want you to hurt yourself now?"

"Yep," I reply, kissing his cheek. "What should we name her?"

"Sadie."

I nod, looking at the baby, "Welcome to the world Sadie Sloane Hobbes."

Dean grins and kisses me and then her forehead, "I love you both."

"Love you two more," I laugh.

"Love you two most," he grins, satisfied that he 'won'.

"Rude," I murmur.

"You love me!"

I grin and kiss his nose, "Fortunately for you."
