Jungkook pov ~

I feel like me and Jimin switched bodies. It was like Jimin didn't even have time to look at me. I was so used to being watched by him while he thought everything I did was beautiful. Now he's too busy. Too busy with JB or Jin or anybody except me. Since that fight he hasn't even said anything to me. Now I was the one doing the watching. I finally understood. All this time watching, waiting to be noticed by the one you love. Wondering what he's thinking, or if he even loves you back. Treating Jimin this way all these years must've been terrible. I thought I was playing just innocent hard to get but it doesn't feel that way when you're on this side.

Me and V just finished practicing our vocals. We believed we could finally sing our parts right and dance at the same time. V decided to go see what Jhope was doing and Jimin just happened to be there. I forgot they were both creating a choreo together. When we walked in they were busy at work. "Well we all know Namjoon is going to have a long rap part so I say for that part we should do something that looks clean but isn't too advanced either," Jhope told Jimin as they listened to the beat.

Jimin nodded ," just in case , I think me and you should both be behind him when he does his part so that it looks more advanced than it actually is," Jimin said. "You're right," Jhope muttered as they messed with a few different dance moves together. We knocked so they knew we were here before they looked to us.

"Hey guys, have you finally learned to control your breathing for your vocals yet? You better do it quick because we'll have to learn this choreo any day now," Jhope said. We nodded ," we got it down," I said smiling. "How come we have to practice but none of you rappers have to practice?" V asked whining.  "Because rappers are good at controlling their breathing, singers sing soft and slow we rap really fast and gave to get a whole chorus out in one breath. We're naturally good at breathing," Jhope told V. I nodded understanding.

"What about Jimin? He's a singer and doesn't have to practice," V asked questioningly. "V. Jimin can run 3 miles straight when people are chasing him. I think he's got this breathing thing down," Jhope said jokingly. I looked to Jimin who was blushing in embarrassment and listening to the music in the background. We locked eyes once but he looked down a second later.

I looked down in disappointment and V noticed. "Uhm you guys should go get practicing we'll just watch," V said as Jhope nodded and Jimin followed him. "Awkward huh? Still like him?" Taehyung asked as we sat in the corner and watched our hyung and maknae.

You know he really never acted like the youngest. He was actually very mature. Well compared to us that is. He has his goofy moments but if we were stranded id rather be stuck with Jimin than V because we'd all starve to death if it was me and V. You know me and Jimin are only a few months apart but it's like we're years apart. Jimin still acts like a child though. To put it in simpler terms , V was 3, I was 10, Jimin was 12, in terms of mental age.

That's what makes him so cute. He can be serious yet adorable in a span of 24 hours. Emotional yet comforting. Perfect. I suddenly saw fingers snapping in front of me ," Earth to Jungkook, you okay?" V asked as I jumped back into the real world. I nodded quickly. "He's really taking a toll on you. Do you need me to talk to him? Clear things up?" Taehyung asked genuinely concerned.

This is why V was my best friend. He may act immature 90% of the time but when I needed him he really did act like a big brother to me. There were never any romantic feelings there. V was a good looking guy but id rather drop a house on him than date him. I want somebody who's wants me more than anything. Particularly cute, short, small , fluffy ones.

"No it's fine. He'll talk to me eventually. Right?" I said half heartedly, what if he never talked to me? Suddenly I heard Suga come in. "Where are you Jimin?" Suga said angrily coming towards him once he had Jimin in his eyes. Jimin got up and backed away like he used to do. Suga noticed he was scaring Jimin to he stopped and backed off. "Sorry Jimin didn't mean to scare you. Namjoon poured his hot coffee all over me cause he's clumsy so I'm not in the best mood," Suga said slowly lightening his voice so it came to a normal tone.

Jimin nodded understanding and came closer once more. "Sorry. Force of habit," Jimin muttered quietly. I smiled as Jimin's muscles that were tense only seconds before were loosening up. I didn't like seeing Jimin scared. His eyes widened, he shielded his face, his lip would quiver, he look at the ground, and you could hear a low whimpering coming from him. He looked pitiful. Like you want to protect him but you can't. We've protected him pretty well so now my only worry is getting close to Jimin again. Hopefully.

:a/n hey guys it's been too long. I've been in Northern California and the internet sucks up here. I'm gonna go back to Nevada tomorrow so yay. Then I got to drive back to LA on Saturday for kcon yassss. I love youuuu. Oh before I forget. That whole "six pack" performance with Rocky shownu etc was great and really helps because I was hoping to try to bring MONSTA X into the sequel too. The mains will be KNK and Astro but I wanted to somehow bring MONSTA X in so I have a fic for all 4 of my main fandoms. If you have any ideas for the sequel feel free to comment I can always use some help especially on how to work MONSTA X in.
