After mel and ben leave I decide to call a group meeting. Meaning that the entirety of our friend group would meet in my room and we would talk about something that was bothering a member of the group, it used to be just my sister, trin, kurt, nate and I and it went relatively quick since we addressed the situation and then discussed, in turns, how to deal with it. However since the group now held the vk's, yzla, giselle and gil, and harry hook (not to mention ben and mel, who were obviously out currently) it was probably going to be hard to get everyone to not speak over each other. 

When the meeting came around and everyone piled inside, I called attention and quieted the others down. "I've called this meeting today to talk about mel, I noticed that it seems like she's hiding something. Something I'm certain has to do with felix dunbar." I tell them. "Wait fill us in, some of us have been pretty busy and don't know felix dunbar." Jay says concernedly. After I explain, I start again. "I think that leah is trying to force mel into a relationship with felix." "That would explain a lot." Trin says. "Wait she can't do that right?" Mal questions in a panic. "Technically yes, but it's an old fashioned tradition. The old cow would for sure still use it." Nate explains. "We have to do something about it." Evie exclaims and a murmur of agreement spreads through the group and I see gil and harry exchange a look. 

"Hang on do we really want to act if we don't know that that's what's actually happening?" Yzla questions. "And if it is? What if mel didn't tell us for a reason? I mean this is mel we're talking about, she likes to deal with things herself until she needs help." Jay adds. I see harry and gil sigh in relief. "We need to get her out of that mentality, she needs to know that she can come to us for anything no matter how small the issue." I tell them and again a murmur of agreement spreads through the group. "Hang on there goldilocks. Before everyone goes bombarding her with unwanted attention, why don't you watch her and see how she reacts when felix or leah are mentioned." Harry reasons and gil places a comforting hand on his shoulder.

"I could probably coax the truth out of her. She tells me everything." Mal suggests. "Not everything, she obviously didn't tell you about felic." gil speaks defensively. "She hasn't seen me yet to tell me." Mal argues back. "Calm down. Why don't we just reassure her that we're here for her if she needs and then if she tells us what's going on we'll help her in any way possible." Nate tells us. "That's the best we can do for now, I mean harry's right. If we start giving her unwanted attention then it could startle her into not talking." Trin reasons. "Alright, just don't go telling her you're there for her all at once or she'll get suspicious." I say. 

"Does this mean the meeting's over, jay and I have tourney practice in a few minutes." Carlos questions. I roll my eyes and facepalm. "Yes, meeting adjourned you guys can go. But harry, gil, I need your help with a painting I'm doing." I say and they all file out of the room, leaving harry, gil and I alone. "You two know something and you better tell me quick." I say crossing my arms. "We don't know anything goldilocks." Harry replies with an eye roll. "I've been watching you two this whole meeting, your body language suggests you know what's going on and I want you to spill it." I snap, getting in his face.

 "Faith even if we knew something, it's not our place to tell you. Mel would've confided in us hoping to keep it between us and we wouldn't want to betray her trust, understand this and if she wanted to tell you guys she would when she felt it was necessary." Gil reasons softly, stepping in front of harry. I stop and glare at them. "If this is something that could get her hurt or in trouble and we could've stopped it from happening then I'm blaming you two for not letting us know." I say shoving them out of the door. "I wouldn't let it get that far, and if it was hinting at any signs of danger you and the group would be the firsts to know." Gil says before I shut the door.
